I tried playing but I got bored of the puzzles they weren't easy or anything but I got stuck forever and I never bothered looking up a walk-through

You know the graveyard next to the Sanctuary? Turns out that you can, upon gaining the Power Bracer, push that gravestone out of the way and drop back into that section, so you can bomb the doors for additional loots.

That's because the mice deal 1/4 of a heart. The SNES Zelda only displays full and 1/2, not 1/4 unlike the later games.

Man I remember when I was 6 and I got a Super Nintendo for Christmas and it came with Zelda A Link To The Past. It turned out to be the first videogame I've ever played and my favorite game of all time. That Christmas 11 years ago is still the best Christmas I have ever had to this day.
