@Hufflewaffle "There is a sad irony in people who claim to know how to spot 'intelligence'." I was thinking the same thing when readin your comment. You can think analogically if you wish, but it rarely fits perfectly with the truth. I know what error you are trying to address and it is a real one, but it is also the type of thinking people have when first examining the fine-tuning argument, keep studying, as the argument you refute is only the amateur version.
@TheHonestTheist Thinking 'analogically' NEVER fits perfectly with the truth. This is the whole point! We can only ever approach things like 'truth' through metaphors such as 'God'. Our 'intelligence', our language, our very existence, is our biggest limitation. As someone once said "Your God is your ultimate barrier". Claiming to be able to spot 'intelligence' in nature is ludicrous. We ARE nature. Like Narcissus we are trying to form a divine relationship with the image in the mirror.
@Hufflewaffle "Claiming to be able to spot 'intelligence' in nature is ludicrous. We ARE nature" That's a very poor argument. If you want to believe we can't see what is intelligent and what's not, that's fine with me. I'm certainly not joining you though.
@TheHonestTheist I don't believe we can't see what is intelligent and what's not. I believe 'intelligence' (as ID people want to call it) is a defining characteristic of life itself and it really shouldn't be such a surprise to find 'design' in everything that has been made by living things including other living things.
Same old teleological argument again, only with two more minutes of my time wasted. Ho hum.
Never mind that other laws of physics might well lead to universes with life - very different life than ours to be sure, but life nonetheless. Simply saying "the universe is fine tuned for us" and then implying that god exists because of this assumes that ours is the only possible form of life there can be.
Never mind that the logical inference "God => Fine Tuning" does not imply "Fine Tuning => God".
This is classic Argument from Incredulity reasoning. From Wikipedia:
"P is too incredible (or I can't imagine how P could possibly be true) therefore P must be false.
It's obvious that P is true (or I can't imagine how P could possibly be false) therefore P must be true.
These arguments are similar to arguments from ignorance in that they too ignore and do not properly eliminate the possibility that something can be both incredible and still be true, or obvious and yet still be false."
I'll reject any person who watched the twin towers burn, gave thousands of people AIDS, and watched as African children were slaughtered and tortured.
@Willisawesom123 First of all God is NOT a person. And the acts you have just described were ALL done by corrupt men, under the influenced and through the sin of Satan. I'm sorry that I can't contain myself, but sometimes I can't help but wonder how the hell did U get to be so stupid? It's no wonder that atheists have such a bad reputation. Seriously, the misinformed are better off not even opening their mouth - due to their ignorance. Dude, take time out to educate yourself instead of guessing.
@Willisawesom123 First of all God is not a person. The acts that you just described were ALL done by corrupt men, under the influence of the sin of Satan. Are you really this stupid, dude? Seriously, before you say anything else to embarrass yourself as an atheist, please research what you are talking about and become informed. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
@ShowMeThyWay Also I find it funny that your such a pussy that you post your comments on my channel now, instead of the video. 1 point for us nonbelievers!
@Wiiwillrockyouup I post in both places, dummy. Can't you count? I'm not going anywhere. I love making a jackass out of you, as I do with all atheists. You'll need more than one point to raise your IQ beyond something you can count on two hands.
@twaallen32 I love it - R U his daddy? All you atheists believe in God, because He is the one that you BLAME everytime for wars and a list of bad things that happen to people all over the world, and at the same time are hypocrites and reject God because you don't want ANYBODY telling you what to do and have to accept responsibility for your actions. If you don't believe in Satan, who is responsible for all the negative? Is it all just a big coincidence billions of times EACH DAY? Ho! Ho! Ho!
Well I am not going to generalize an entire group like you did, but I will speak for myself. I literally have no reason to think there is anything beyond that which is observable. There could be, but nothing, yet, has led me to believe so. I blame wars on humans and disease on natural selection. I do this because the evidence (so far) only points to those explanations.
P.S.: I am not his "daddy." I, contrary to you, politely point out errors in thinking, wherever they are.
@twaallen32 I thought it strange you answering for him on "what he thinks." When you were a little baby and your parents told you who they were, did you believe them? The same analogy applies to God, by comparison you are a small babe to His intellect, when you grow up (spiritually speaking) perhaps you will think otherwise. Possibly not, if your mind remains reprobate - and for that there are repercussions and consequences. What would be my agenda for lying to you, or myself,? I have PROOF.
And I agree that perhaps I might think otherwise in the future. However, if a certain being did create me the way I am and the environment that surrounds me, shouldn't that being be responsible for how I turn out and for the things I experience that cause me to make the decisions/hold the beliefs that I do?
I don't have any reason to think you have any agenda, for I don't know you at all. Though, I would like to hear about this "proof." Perhaps it will help me change my mind.
@twaallen32 YOU are responsible for your beliefs one way or the other, because you have freewill and are able to make a CHOICE, which is what you have done up until now. God is not a dictator and has given you this right, along with everyone else that He has given a soul to, because whether we accept Him or not we all have the common ground of being sinners (sin nature) while we are in the flesh. My concern for fellow human beings is that they understand the seriousness of this ETERNAL CHOICE.
@ShowMeThyWay If you don't have extensive knowledge of the Bible (which most don't) you will have to keep an open mind in order to research the TRUTH for yourself of which I am about to cram 40 years of study into a few brief paragraphs within the limitations of a Youtube format. The proof is multilayered in Bible Prophecy fulfilled along with the Dead Sea Scroll discovery. There are 332 prophecies fulfilled 100% by Jesus Christ, told 1500 years prior that is ONE CHANCE in 84 to the 98th power.
@ShowMeThyWay The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls(written 200BC) in 1947 verifies the authenticity VERBATIM of the KJV Bible (excluding punctuation because it didn't exist back then) that we have today. Within that Bible (all 66 books) the number 7 appears HUNDREDS of times in description throughout of God's number meaning perfection and completion and His personal involvement. 7 seals, 7 vials, 7 spirits, walls of Jerico 7 times, Christ on the Cross spoke 7 things, Creation 7 days, etc.
@ShowMeThyWay If you take the FIXED parameters since the creation of the world of the speed of light at 186,480 mps and DIVIDE it (again there are many biblical reasons for doing so which I could list for you) by the circumference of the world 24,000 you will get EXACTLY 7.77! This represents the TRINITY of God, a 7 each for the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. As you may know 666 was asigned to be the mark of the beast because of Satan trying to overthrow God. A challenge to discover the TRUTH.
@ShowMeThyWay So what your trying to say is, if we dont do what god tells us we go to hell. Thats not free will. I yet again, a paradox is discovered: you quoted exactly 2 hours ago from when I posted this comment, "YOU are responsible for your beliefs one way or the other, because you have freewill and are able to make a CHOICE": Thus, we have no free will. Like my "daddy" says, if there is evidence in the future that would prsent itself that there is a god, I may change my views. But till then
@Wiiwillrockyouup I'm not so sure you are in a place to grasp this (no offense) but I'll try anyway - SPIRITUALLY SPEAKING you have an eternal soul because whether you agree or not for now your soul will live eternally WITH the Lord or not and live eternally WITHOUT God (whether it is your delight to do so or not) BECAUSE you have freewill and are given the choice to make that decision. God is RIGHTEOUS and HOLY and that can NEVER change, U and I are not because of our sin nature in the FLESH.
@ShowMeThyWay What would it take for you to BELIEVE in God? If He made an appearance and performed miracles? He has already done that and provided salvation and gives you the opportunity to come to Him through FAITH. What a price to pay just because He loves a world that rejects Him. How much more plain can it be. I don't know your history, but I can see the times that He has reached out to you through my mind, heart, and mouth when I really didn't want to any longer. THAT, is the love of God.
@ShowMeThyWay Don't let my Army of atheists scare you too much now. We dont want a little boy full ot shit now do w- Oh wait we already do. Go figure.
@ShowMeThyWay No, in a order far to advanced for your unintellectual mind to comprehend. So to dumb it down for your grace, its like having a taco, inside a taco, inside a burrito, inside a taco bell, thats inside a mall, thats inside a city, thats inside oaklahoma, thats in the usa, thats on the earth, thats inside your head! buh buh buh buh buh baah!
You mention "our sin nature in the flesh." I was wondering why that is our nature in the first place. Do you see where I am coming from? I didn't choose to exist and yet I am here. I didn't choose to be a "sinner" yet I am. Obviously, if I had a choice, I would choose to be born perfect and to never sin. Yet, someone made me this way... could you tell me who? Who, according to you, is the maker of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING?
@twaallen32 Our sin nature comes from the Fall of Adam and Eve, who were beguiled by Satan (God's creation who were all given freewill) and rebelled against God. Why don't you BLAME your mother and father then? That perfect state that you refer to is why God manifested Himself as Jesus in the flesh to be the atonement for the sin. That's why you must accept Him to be born-again to receive that perfect state (glorified body) when the Rapture comes. God gave U a soul - YOU choose everything else.
I'm sure you know where this is going and you've heard of similar arguments put forth. However, I would like to hear your response, that is, if you do believe in an omnipotent and omniscient creator.
By what you have stated, it seems you believe in "free will." Now, I'm not entirely sure how you would define it, but I tend to think of it as the ability of an individual to make decisions based on the available data (reality) without another intelligent being interfering. Assuming you agree with that definition, or at least the basic idea, doesn't the prospect of "free will" existing seem impossible in a world in which an being creates/d reality while knowing all outcomes?
@twaallen32 I personally think God created freewill because He wanted to give man something to defy - and in doing so taking the least and making them mighty. More like a hobby, than a full-time job. Perhaps something to be amused by. Do you think you have fulfilled His expectations? I know for certain that He has a sense of humor after seeing the rainbow He plastered on a baboon's ass, if you catch my drift.
@ShowMeThyWay Before you have to ask - the metaphor of taking something so ugly and making it beautiful - the same as what He does for man if allowed to do so. And so we have it, coming full circle right back to freewill. Enjoy the trip?
Addressing your question, I'm not sure what his expectations are. I would have no idea where to look. Some people say it's all in the Bible. Well, why not the Qu'ran or Vedas? Maybe a divine being inspired Tolkien to write the Lord of the Rings series, and in that is the divine being's expectations of man. Honestly, unless the creator tells me, myself, what to do and why, I have nothing to go by except my own values and logic.
@twaallen32 To be so close, and yet so far away. MAYBE isn't going to offer you salvation through the Son of God. If you don't SEEK God through the Bible (because indeed He is there) the Holy Ghost will never be able to enter your heart and teach or guide you. There has to be a willingness beyond your flesh (faith) in order for God to take the next step. If you think that all this is by coincidence or sheer chance (even our meeting), you are making a tremendous mistake that only a fool would do.
Well, I would never make any unnecessary assumptions.
You still haven't told me why specifically it is the Bible that I need to look to. There are certainly many other books that have been written by ancient peoples and that claim to have prophecies, as well. What makes the Bible any different?
@twaallen32 The Bible (King James Version O.T.) is verbatim of what was discovered in 1947 in the Dead Sea Scrolls dated 200BC. Unlike any other book the amount of PROPHECY FULFILLED 332 items told 1500 years prior to Christ being born was FULFILLED 100% by Him. In the laws of probability the chancesof that happening is ONE in 84 to the 98th power (zeros) if a Divine Supreme Being wasn't involved. That, along with the formula I've already shared with you would at least deserve an investigation.
Investigation, indeed, has been underway for quite sometime.
Why is it that Jesus told his disciples that the "end times" would occur before the end of their lifetime? "Amen, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have taken place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." (Matthew 24:34-35)
Doesn't that conflict with the whole 100% accuracy and all?
@twaallen32 The only conflict is that which you have deemed so in your mind. I see that perhaps U will make a gallant effort - just dont play possum with me. Ask something straight up and I will tell you. Jesus was referring to the generation of Jews which will be alive at the beginning of the Great Tribulation; as well it was a prediction by Christ, that irrespective of the problems that Israel would face, even from His day, they would survive. Endtimes is everything prior to the Kingdom Age.
I'm not attempting to "play possum" with you. Honestly, if I read something in the Bible, which I have done often, and I spot a contradiction, is it "God's" fault for having such a bad writer? I don't just make up contradictions either. I have spotted many and there are many spotted by thousands of people posted online.
If this is the divine work of the GREATEST BEING, shouldn't he be able to a better and more convincing job? If he wanted to, couldn't he convince anyone?
@twaallen32 Why do you think Christ spoke in parables many times? Why do you think there are many things symbolic? It is for the eye to see and the ear to hear - for ONLY THOSE that are willing to really SEEK it. Christ put Himself on a platter and shed His blood for everyone's salvation. What else would U like? As for contradictions - there are NONE, as the one I have just PROVEN to you. I challenge you to NAME EACH ONE and I will disprove them all. It is your ignorance and misinterpretation.
"...for ONLY THOSE that are willing to really SEEK it."
You are clearly deluded to think that only messages can be seen in the Bible if you seek those messages. Try any other book; ask a schizophrenic and a conspiracy theorist, and they'll tell you that "messages" are everywhere if you look hard enough.
"Ignorance and misinterpretation," eh? So there are many interpretations but only one is right? Your god did a good job in not making things clear.
@twaallen32 Woe is me. It always gets around to making it God's fault with U CRYBABY ATHEISTS. Even a small child understands the concept of authority and God in control. It's when some grow up to be arrogant know-it-all atheists such as yourself that won't listen that the problem arises. What is so hard to understand about "thou shalt not!" All you crybabies don't want to be told anything. You want the privledge of the blessing without any strings attached. Tough. God is the puppeteer! Not U.
RIGHT! You just hit the nail on the head. According to your beliefs, the master creator is the "puppeteer." According to you, he has the power to send me something he knows would convince me. So why doesn't he? Does he not care if I am sent to an eternal damnation.
It's not the "thou shalt's" that I have a problem with. I just don't know from which "divine" book I should trust as the real ones. You said the prophecies prove that the Bible is the one, but...
that involves the "right interpretation." Again, I reiterate, if your god is omnipotent, he should be able to come up with something that everyone would understand in the same way. Instead, he chose a BOOK in a single/small group of languages (meaning lost in translation).
Even so, another point is that those "prophecies" are always post hoc. Can you, right now, predict something in the future using the Bible?
@twaallen32 Sure: Rapture. Great Tribulation. Second Coming. Kingdom Age (Milinneal Reign). Renovation of the Earth = Perfect Age (New Heaven/New Earth) - all mentioned in Revelation. I never claimed to be a prophet, and as U well know the Bible indicates that there will be no more prophets after Christ. If U R having difficulty understanding (for those that have an eye to see and an ear to hear) the resistance is on your end - NOT HIS. It has to do with a willful participation on your part.
Uh huh a "will participation" to look for evidence, which leads to the truth. For all you know your god could be evil. Actually, if you believe the Bible is 100% true, then your god is morally bankrupt. Good job in choosing an evil being to put all your faith in.
@twaallen32 Lets save the personal comments and self-righteous judgment for the end - (after all the facts are presented) as right now there is tremendous confusion on someone's part and it would be bias and inappropriate to cast these stones in the glass house that we currently live in. Agreed? Please continue to submit your concerns about Bible scripture (KJV) just as your are doing by Chapter and Verse, so that we will both know specifically what U are referencing and be on the same page.
That's a little presumptuous and a dodging of the judgment of the being you believe to be your creator. If I found evidence that a highly intelligent alien created all of life and did some questionable things in our history, I can choose for myself whether or not that being is worthy of my "love." And don't say that, "Oh, well then you'll be damned forever." It still doesn't make it right. It just makes the creator a bully or mob boss.
@twaallen32 The Creator is all about love, or He wouldn't have given of Himself on such a large scale to make a way for salvation. He is Holy, we are not. He has already come down to our level by placing Himself on a Cross to be crucified, and remained sinless while doing so. It is our responsibility as filthy human beings to try and come up to His level by accepting Christ as our Savior. It is the ONLY WAY. Do you want to continue with the Q&A, or not? I've been through this many times B 4.
@twaallen32 I wanted to use a specific word "puppeteer" that would reel you back in. The reason you are NOT making the connection is another word called "PRIDE!" I'm almost certain that you will find that word highly offensive as well. I too deal with it daily, because of being human (flesh) and puffed up with a "sin nature." It's more than prophecies - it's the ONLY BOOK that says salvation and redemption comes through the atonement of God Almighty Himself: shed blood and crucifixion of Christ
@ShowMeThyWay Instead of trading insults, let's get back to the business at hand twaallen32. Give me the exact scripture (Chapter and Verse) where you find contradiction in the Bible, or perhaps that you are not clear in understanding. As long as you have the patience, I want to set it straight concerning the preconditioning and confusion of why you think God doesn't make the facts as plain as the nose on your face. God is infinite and there is always going to be something to learn 4 both of us.
Sounds good. There's no way I can post all of them, but I'll try to start:
Should adulterers be punished? Leviticus 20:10 says they should be executed. But some random guy named Jesus says they should not be punished (John 8:3-8).
How should you respond to a fool? Proverbs 26:4 and 26:5 are exact opposites. Care to explain?
Should believers hold discourse with non-believers? John 1:10-11 says no (it's taking part in evil) while Peter 3:15 says you should defend your beliefs.
@twaallen32 Leviticus is O.T. (law) vs. John is N.T.,because Jesus is the substitution by crucifixion (sacrificing His blood for animals) with compassion and forgiveness in mercy 4 mankind. This addendum to Moses law was replaced by the Son of God for above reasons. At first sight, verse 5 seems 2 B antagonistic 2 the purport of the preceding verse, but is not. The words according 2 his folly means as his folly deserves (concordance). He is 2 B exposed and shamed, bringing him 2 a better mind.
@ShowMeThyWay John speaks 2 the world in general, but specifically 2 the JEWS. The world cannot know Christ by wisdom, only by Revelation (given through the Holy Ghost). This is perhaps where U are having difficulty. Do U mean 1Peter? Peter was assigned by Jesus 2 preach 2 the GENTILES and was appointed 2 be the Rock (Christ) that the Church was built upon. Thus, U have the Jews in denial over Jesus Christ, and the Gentiles grafted in due 2 the Jews failure 2 recognize Him 2 bring an awareness.
For the 3rd example (John v. Peter), again you are failing to teach any human being who reads the Bible what they should do and why they should do it. How can EVERYONE know what to do if only some parts apply to some people? Should you or should you not speak to non-believers?
@twaallen32 I never said that only some parts apply to some people, that is your impression apparently. The Gospel is about going and teaching to the world. The non-believer has not heard about God. The atheist has and rejects Him. See the difference? As a BELIEVER there is a responsibility to share the info, not force it down someone's throat. In your case, I am giving you the information and you can accept it or reject it. It will not affect me one way or the other. U are left without excuse.
So what your saying for the 1st example is that the god of the bible (a perfect, omniscient, omnipotent being) made a mistake, so he had a living person speak on his behalf to fix it. Not only is that absurd, how is that any different from Muslims saying that you guys got it all wrong, and Muhammad fixed it with the Qu'ran?
Your 2nd explanation doesn't solve the dilemma. How am I supposed to know what to do? The Bible and your superbeing are failing to help.
@twaallen32 There is NO mistake on God's part, it is on behalf of man's "sin" that Christ came and sacrificed His life for the atonement. Before that, nothing was acceptable - God is Holy we are not! Instead of attacking and trying to find fault were none is, let's be patient with each other, or we're not going to get very far. If you knew anything about Islam, you would know that their salvation is had by good deeds - which is carnal and of the flesh. In other words man-made holiness.
Thanks for continued Bible-fanatic babble and nothing that substantiates a reason or explanation for the contradictions. Keep Bible-thumping and putting humans down, though. It's hilarious.
@twaallen32 What came first the CHICKEN or the CRYBABY ATHEIST? Answer: They are one and the same. You can't sanctify yourself. We both know the truth - YOU ARE IN OVER YOUR HEAD! Like I said, YOU are left without an excuse, coward.:)
@twaallen32 It's never been about me defending my position. I have given U the answers, but it's not what U want to hear. The truth is that U will probally never see it or hear it, because the truth is the truth. Where's the threat? Do U feel threatened by your inferior misunderstanding of the Bible? The information U put forth and lame questions tells me that U know not what U speak of. It's nothing to be ashamed of. U have to start somewhere. As 4 insults - all you lack is the feathers. Ouch!
You haven't given me "answers." You have given me threats about my existence in the afterlife, baseless insults like "crybaby" and "coward" and something to the effect of me being inferior in intellect, and excuses for why the creator you believe in can act the way it does. You have continually failed to give me any convincing evidence for A.) the existence of a creator, B.) the existence of rules that I should follow, and C.) the Bible being the right book for those rules.
You claim that there are prophecies in the Bible yet you didn't respond to me when I challenge you to predict something in the future using the Bible. You also didn't respond to my comment about all the prophecies being vague and easily made by any human with common sense.
Then, you claimed that there are absolutely no contradictions in the Bible, yet I presented a difference in "God's laws" and you're excuse was that he made a MISTAKE!?! Your perfect imaginary friend also...
messed up the Genesis story big time. Chapters 1 and 2 are loaded with contradictions.
Again, the point is that a perfect, omnipotent being should be able to send everyone what they need (in their language etc.) in order to believe it and know what it wants. If that doesn't occur, then either it doesn't want it to occur or it's not perfect/omnipotent.
But you're so deluded, you'll never understand that.
Hmmm let's see: volcanoes are not intelligent let alone omnipotent and omniscient.
I don't curse any god for anything because I don't believe in any gods. Since some people do, I have to point out that OMNIPOTENCE means the ability to do anything (and to some people only the ability to do logic things). In either case, that being can make a "world" in any fashion. Do you understand OMNIPOTENCE now?
@twaallen32 u are mnissing the point. ignore whether it is a god or nature. U accept that Volcanoes have no choice in how they operate. Its a life process.
Using logic and reasoning, u have to be allowed to apply that possibility with god, killing folk ,as I know for sure u don't know how or what it takes to CONTROL a world do u? lol
No, I'm not missing any point. If you believe that the creator of all things is an omnipotent AND omnibenevolent being, then you either are confusing the definitions of those characteristics or you don't believe the world can exist with fewer "bad" qualities.
However, you seem to be referring to a different type of being. Your being sounds like it's not omnipotent because it operates in consistent manner with no control. I could be wrong, and you can correct me.
@twaallen32 you are missing the point. U ACCEPT...U ACCEPT death is part of volcanoes process of working. in otherwords it's inevitable. inteligence doesn't come into the equation. think!!!!!
do u know how a universe is managed??? do u? then how can u dismiss that death is not part of it.? Death is part of volcanoes erupting.
I know about how the current universe operates, but there is literally an infinite amount of ways the universe can function. Creating such universes is no problem to a being that is omnipotent. Look up the word and maybe you'll know what I'm talking about.
Many people believe in an omnipotent being that created everything. Some of those people also say that that being is omnibenevolent. Given the current conditions of existence, those two characteristics are incompatible.
@twaallen32 do u know exactly what it takes to make the universe(s) work? otherwise u would do it..therefore why are u trying to analyse something that your ability can not do. and just because it is out of reach of our understanding doen't mean it is any less truer
analogy: can a man who is 60 open the pages of a chopin sonata and play like a pianist?
@twaallen32 U are restraining your own thoughts and judgements on how others judge something. peer pressure... and the athiests accuse christians of not thinking for themselves...thats a laugh
You thoughts are at best irrelevant and, for the most part, incoherent. I'm really sorry that you are afflicted with Asperger's Syndrome, and I know that affected your ability to convey your thoughts in a manner that is comprehensible to others. However, it is really hard for me to conduct a productive conversation on the existence of "supernatural" beings with you. I will, thus, end it here. Good luck, friend.
i am either coherent or not coherent or u are unable to accept the things i say. there is no proof unless someone else steps forward to air an opinion.
U give up to easy to help someone less fortunate than yourselve. perhaps u think u are ore inteligent than myself. fair enough. but i live by love thy neighbour and to me u are extolling the irony of the athiests hypocrisy...
anyway i have been having conversations with many ppl on here and do u know what....
@twaallen32 has it ever occured to someone such as yourself to move onto something different if u are not finding the conversation productive. dearie me, wonders never cease..
a last detail: What u uttered is a POV nothing quite like a fact. It takes a lot to bring me down..
p.s. ever read art of war....haha see god in a new light..
@twaallen32 what makes me amused is the fact that u follow round like a lost sheep commenting on videos u don't have to believe in. what a waste of time or perhaps u have doubts about your convictions. either way u have no right or u are arrogant to disagree with my opinion..
@twaallen32 u talk about god being contradictory,, and i was bringing nature is contradictory. now i see u are contradictory. first u try and insult me then under the same breath u feel sorry for my condition i have. has it ever occured to u if u were sincere about your feelings for me u would stop before u write the words that insult me. This skill i learned from the bible. the bible is all about behaviour. and it perfectly paints the human.
@twaallen32 God and the Bible are not failing to help and teach you, you are failing (unwilling) to learn. As with anything of value, failure is in the lack of application. Remember, when you point the finger at someone else, there are four more pointing back at you.
When I point the finger at the the imaginary being who created and can do EVERYTHING, only men point the finger back. Seems they're afraid to recognize the responsibility involved with a being who controls the eternal fate of emotional beings.
But that's if such a thing existed. So far, there's no evidence that says I should cry myself to sleep worrying about eternity since there is no proof that there is any part of me that is eternal.
So what if it's the only book that says that? You're severely missing the point. You have no idea how to prove one book more accurate than others, so you're in no place to say that the one that you would like the be the "one" is the "one."
And I have some pride but not when it comes to this. This is a matter of where there is evidence and where there isn't. Clearly, you are confusing the latter with the former. Your method of convincing can be applied to any book... sad...
@twaallen32 That's it, pucker up and kiss his ass for the cause, even though you know he is wrong. Your credibility is shot with me. Make sure the next atheist in your club is more advanced and knowlegable about the Bible so that there is somewhat of a challenge, honeydipper.
Well you are a troll and aren't listening to reason. However, I kiss no one's ass. I'm just giving him a pass and hopefully he learned something. Isn't that what Jesus teaches? Why do you speak badly about people who practice what you and your stories preach? And are you giving up?... because I do have more knowledge about the Bible then you originally thought? So you pretty much say you need a more of a challenge and give up? Well done, sport.
@twaallen32 If you don't BELIEVE in Jesus of the Bible, why then as an atheist would YOU want to use His techniques on a fellow atheist, especially even in the referencing of Him by name? Your buddy is the very same one that ask for me to "BLOW HIM!" and that he was going to "Shove the Bible up my ass!" How's that ass-kissing and being a hypocrite working out for you now? The fence sitting will be over with at the Great White Throne of Judgment.
Let's see, to show that the first half of that post is ridiculous: I don't believe Gandolf from the Lord of the Rings ever existed, but some of the things he says in the novels are quite insightful.
Secondly, I couldn't care less about Wiiwillrockyouup. I'm just trying to promote a little rationality and some YT peace. That's all.
Now will you refrain from being so childish about it?
@twaallen32 If you would "NEVER make any unnecessary assumptions," why then do you judge the Bible not to be legitimate (before having all the answers) and therefore claim to be an atheist as the result of having done so. Doesn't that sort of smack of being a hypocrite?
I judge the Bible to be illegitimate because there is a lot of evidence that points to that conclusion. It's hardly a baseless "assumption" as you make it sound. The way I approach it is like like (as you read this, think of the book as Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales):
Someone presents a book- it's just a book until proven otherwise.
The person posits that this book is the divine word of the creator of everything- extraordinary evidence is necessary for extraordinary claims.
Then the person states that the historical accuracy is proof- have you heard of historical fiction or embellished stories? Historical accuracy doesn't mean everything in the book actually happened.
Then the person says there are many prophecies- You ask the person to present them but NONE have specific dates and ALL are very vague and could have been said by anyone, much like the Nostradamus "prophecies."
@twaallen32 No they are NOT like Nostradamus - these prophecies are biblical and ALL about Jesus Christ and fulfilled by Him exclusively. The problem here is as with most atheists, they've not studied the Bible and yet proclaim their GUESSES to the world - when it is not founded in the truth - because they're too damn lazy to devote any portion of their time to practice what they preach. If they really tried to disprove God's existence by reading the Bible - they would be convinced otherwise.
Disproving the Bible does not equal disproving any god's existence. To put it bluntly, anyone/anything that's full of shit is gonna get called out on their bullshit. That includes religious people/texts. Keep telling yourself it's not BS, but the truth is that you can't make any predictions with the Bible that you wouldn't otherwise be able to do with common sense.
For future reference, I have studied the Bible enough to know that it's mostly fiction/embellishment.
@ShowMeThyWay The Creator in the Bible is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and established a covenant with the multitudes through them. The special information I gave to U earlier means nothing to U, because if U did understand the significance of it, these questions that you now have would absolutely not have any bearing whatsoever. If U recognize "sin" then you recognize that there is a Creator. God loves the sinner, but hates the sin - because Jesus was crucified for it. R we any better?
@ShowMeThyWay I like that 'R" at the end. Is that a biblical code meaning your mommys taking you to toys R us tommorrow and you want us to be jealous because your getting the "jesus and me" pop up book with preist on alter boy action? Cuz were all sooooo jealous.
@twaallen32 First off, who are you. Second, you dont know why imposting my comments so shut the fuck up, and third if you must know the little fag wont reply to my comments, instead he sends messages and posts on my wall.
Well I'm sorry to hear that ShowMeThyWay does that. I don't think that presenting immature non sequiturs helps, however. ShowMeThyWay probably used the "R" simply to avoid running out of the limited available characters.
All I'm saying is, if you don't have anything productive to add to the conversation, saying immature and vile things is only going to make yourself look bad.
@Wiiwillrockyouup Aw, poor little CRYBABY ATHEIST. You will suffer the repercussions of the wrath that you have created - because I can. Don't bail on me now, because I have a great lesson planned for you.
Come on, you know better than to generalize like that. Leave that to ShowMeThyWay.
And the answer is no, I don't affiliate myself with any political party. I find it impossible to agree with everything and anything a group of politicians (mostly having their own agendas) continue to come up with, but that's whole separate issue.
"Strike back"? Come on, two wrongs don't make a right. Just ignore ShowMeThyWay... or continue to act like a child. I honestly don't care.
@Wiiwillrockyouup Tee-he-he. One of your own turned on you. Kind of like being caught in a Coyote Ugly trap and having to put your foot in your mouth to get away. Only for the eye to see and the ear to hear - R those that are willing!
You can choose to believe in something without an ounce of proof. There is nothing factual that supports any religion's claims. Religion was created to explain the unknown and comfort those with dead loved ones. All religions from the beginning of time have been made to explain what people can't comprehend and to give them a reason to be a model citizen. Atheists are the ones that take the universe as it is, and are strong enough to face the fact that when you die, you die.
@Willisawesom123 How much proof do you need, numbnuts? Prophecy FULFILLED 100% is beyond the Law of Probability and the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls are undeniable and tangible proof. Thinking something like you just stated without a shred of evidence - doesn't make it so! Once you have a reprobate mind of an atheist - without a spec of faith - you will never see the kingdom of God. Your soul is eternal and will exist in Hell for rebellion and the rejection of Jesus Christ as your Savior.
If homosexuals are indeed an abomination in God's eyes, then why does he create such people? You can't honestly believe in a God who creates a person and damns them to hell for something with which they have no control over.
@Willisawesom123 Just like an atheist to once again BLAME God for everything. It's a lifestyle CHOICE, just like murder or anything else that someone chooses to divate from the norm. Why would God create something in total opposition of His marriage, symbolic of the Bridegroom marrying the bride of Christ (Believers). Homosexuality is sin and a device of the devil, in opposition of everything that God stands for - that's why God condemns it as an abomination. I just can't help myself is such BS
How is "good atheist" an oxymoron? Just because we choose not to buy into your propaganda of eternal abysmal hell, it doesn't mean we are not intelligent level-headed people who are capable of compassion. Unlike the many Christians who condemn the gays to an everlasting life in the flaming pits of a torturous hell.
@Willisawesom123 Homosexuals are unable to reproduce themselves without the aid of a female, and vise-versa for lesbians without the benefits of a male. Other species are indoctrinated with this proof as well. So for a rational mind it can be asumed that anything outside of this example is ABNORMAL. Clearly, it is a deviant square peg in the round hole of forcing something that God deems as an ABOMINATION and unacceptable - and has serious consequences of His WRATH and condemnation. REPENT!
@Willisawesom123 In being naive do U really think that God is bored, considering all that U are surrounded with in your life? What about if it's not about U or me. Maybe God was just proving His love to His Son AND His Son was PROVING His love for His Father. We (the world) just happen to be the recipients of being in the right place at the right time, which is called God's CREATION. Wow, that's somethig that the human ego is going to reject, under the me-me-me syndrome. ANGELS WERE FIRST!
You cannot say that the "proof is in the bible". Do you believe everything that you read in a newspaper or text today? No. What makes this any different?
the scientist in this video claims that we only exist because of the tiniest of chances. that is a fallacy as it regards the purpose of the universe as being for us humans. why is this?

There is a sad irony in people who claim to know how to spot 'intelligence'.

TheHonestTheist 2 months ago
@TheHonestTheist Thinking 'analogically' NEVER fits perfectly with the truth. This is the whole point! We can only ever approach things like 'truth' through metaphors such as 'God'. Our 'intelligence', our language, our very existence, is our biggest limitation. As someone once said "Your God is your ultimate barrier". Claiming to be able to spot 'intelligence' in nature is ludicrous. We ARE nature. Like Narcissus we are trying to form a divine relationship with the image in the mirror.
Hufflewaffle 2 months ago
@Hufflewaffle "Claiming to be able to spot 'intelligence' in nature is ludicrous. We ARE nature" That's a very poor argument. If you want to believe we can't see what is intelligent and what's not, that's fine with me. I'm certainly not joining you though.
TheHonestTheist 2 months ago

Ho! Ho! Ho!
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
P.S.: I am not his "daddy." I, contrary to you, politely point out errors in thinking, wherever they are.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 I thought it strange you answering for him on "what he thinks." When you were a little baby and your parents told you who they were, did you believe them? The same analogy applies to God, by comparison you are a small babe to His intellect, when you grow up (spiritually speaking) perhaps you will think otherwise. Possibly not, if your mind remains reprobate - and for that there are repercussions and consequences. What would be my agenda for lying to you, or myself,? I have PROOF.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Though, I would like to hear about this "proof." Perhaps it will help me change my mind.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 YOU are responsible for your beliefs one way or the other, because you have freewill and are able to make a CHOICE, which is what you have done up until now. God is not a dictator and has given you this right, along with everyone else that He has given a soul to, because whether we accept Him or not we all have the common ground of being sinners (sin nature) while we are in the flesh. My concern for fellow human beings is that they understand the seriousness of this ETERNAL CHOICE.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay If you don't have extensive knowledge of the Bible (which most don't) you will have to keep an open mind in order to research the TRUTH for yourself of which I am about to cram 40 years of study into a few brief paragraphs within the limitations of a Youtube format. The proof is multilayered in Bible Prophecy fulfilled along with the Dead Sea Scroll discovery. There are 332 prophecies fulfilled 100% by Jesus Christ, told 1500 years prior that is ONE CHANCE in 84 to the 98th power.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls(written 200BC) in 1947 verifies the authenticity VERBATIM of the KJV Bible (excluding punctuation because it didn't exist back then) that we have today. Within that Bible (all 66 books) the number 7 appears HUNDREDS of times in description throughout of God's number meaning perfection and completion and His personal involvement. 7 seals, 7 vials, 7 spirits, walls of Jerico 7 times, Christ on the Cross spoke 7 things, Creation 7 days, etc.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay If you take the FIXED parameters since the creation of the world of the speed of light at 186,480 mps and DIVIDE it (again there are many biblical reasons for doing so which I could list for you) by the circumference of the world 24,000 you will get EXACTLY 7.77! This represents the TRINITY of God, a 7 each for the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. As you may know 666 was asigned to be the mark of the beast because of Satan trying to overthrow God. A challenge to discover the TRUTH.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay So what your trying to say is, if we dont do what god tells us we go to hell. Thats not free will. I yet again, a paradox is discovered: you quoted exactly 2 hours ago from when I posted this comment, "YOU are responsible for your beliefs one way or the other, because you have freewill and are able to make a CHOICE": Thus, we have no free will. Like my "daddy" says, if there is evidence in the future that would prsent itself that there is a god, I may change my views. But till then
Wiiwillrockyouup 1 year ago

@ShowMeThyWay
Who, according to you, is the maker of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 Our sin nature comes from the Fall of Adam and Eve, who were beguiled by Satan (God's creation who were all given freewill) and rebelled against God. Why don't you BLAME your mother and father then? That perfect state that you refer to is why God manifested Himself as Jesus in the flesh to be the atonement for the sin. That's why you must accept Him to be born-again to receive that perfect state (glorified body) when the Rapture comes. God gave U a soul - YOU choose everything else.

@ShowMeThyWay
By what you have stated, it seems you believe in "free will." Now, I'm not entirely sure how you would define it, but I tend to think of it as the ability of an individual to make decisions based on the available data (reality) without another intelligent being interfering. Assuming you agree with that definition, or at least the basic idea, doesn't the prospect of "free will" existing seem impossible in a world in which an being creates/d reality while knowing all outcomes?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 I personally think God created freewill because He wanted to give man something to defy - and in doing so taking the least and making them mighty. More like a hobby, than a full-time job. Perhaps something to be amused by. Do you think you have fulfilled His expectations? I know for certain that He has a sense of humor after seeing the rainbow He plastered on a baboon's ass, if you catch my drift.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay Before you have to ask - the metaphor of taking something so ugly and making it beautiful - the same as what He does for man if allowed to do so. And so we have it, coming full circle right back to freewill. Enjoy the trip?
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Indeed, he would have to have a sense of humor.
Honestly, unless the creator tells me, myself, what to do and why, I have nothing to go by except my own values and logic.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 To be so close, and yet so far away. MAYBE isn't going to offer you salvation through the Son of God. If you don't SEEK God through the Bible (because indeed He is there) the Holy Ghost will never be able to enter your heart and teach or guide you. There has to be a willingness beyond your flesh (faith) in order for God to take the next step. If you think that all this is by coincidence or sheer chance (even our meeting), you are making a tremendous mistake that only a fool would do.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Well, I would never make any unnecessary assumptions.
You still haven't told me why specifically it is the Bible that I need to look to. There are certainly many other books that have been written by ancient peoples and that claim to have prophecies, as well. What makes the Bible any different?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 The Bible (King James Version O.T.) is verbatim of what was discovered in 1947 in the Dead Sea Scrolls dated 200BC. Unlike any other book the amount of PROPHECY FULFILLED 332 items told 1500 years prior to Christ being born was FULFILLED 100% by Him. In the laws of probability the chancesof that happening is ONE in 84 to the 98th power (zeros) if a Divine Supreme Being wasn't involved. That, along with the formula I've already shared with you would at least deserve an investigation.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Doesn't that conflict with the whole 100% accuracy and all?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 The only conflict is that which you have deemed so in your mind. I see that perhaps U will make a gallant effort - just dont play possum with me. Ask something straight up and I will tell you. Jesus was referring to the generation of Jews which will be alive at the beginning of the Great Tribulation; as well it was a prediction by Christ, that irrespective of the problems that Israel would face, even from His day, they would survive. Endtimes is everything prior to the Kingdom Age.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
If he wanted to, couldn't he convince anyone?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 Why do you think Christ spoke in parables many times? Why do you think there are many things symbolic? It is for the eye to see and the ear to hear - for ONLY THOSE that are willing to really SEEK it. Christ put Himself on a platter and shed His blood for everyone's salvation. What else would U like? As for contradictions - there are NONE, as the one I have just PROVEN to you. I challenge you to NAME EACH ONE and I will disprove them all. It is your ignorance and misinterpretation.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Good luck, lad.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 Woe is me. It always gets around to making it God's fault with U CRYBABY ATHEISTS. Even a small child understands the concept of authority and God in control. It's when some grow up to be arrogant know-it-all atheists such as yourself that won't listen that the problem arises. What is so hard to understand about "thou shalt not!" All you crybabies don't want to be told anything. You want the privledge of the blessing without any strings attached. Tough. God is the puppeteer! Not U.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
You said the prophecies prove that the Bible is the one, but...
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32
that involves the "right interpretation." Again, I reiterate, if your god is omnipotent, he should be able to come up with something that everyone would understand in the same way. Instead, he chose a BOOK in a single/small group of languages (meaning lost in translation).
Even so, another point is that those "prophecies" are always post hoc. Can you, right now, predict something in the future using the Bible?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 Sure: Rapture. Great Tribulation. Second Coming. Kingdom Age (Milinneal Reign). Renovation of the Earth = Perfect Age (New Heaven/New Earth) - all mentioned in Revelation. I never claimed to be a prophet, and as U well know the Bible indicates that there will be no more prophets after Christ. If U R having difficulty understanding (for those that have an eye to see and an ear to hear) the resistance is on your end - NOT HIS. It has to do with a willful participation on your part.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Uh huh a "will participation" to look for evidence, which leads to the truth. For all you know your god could be evil. Actually, if you believe the Bible is 100% true, then your god is morally bankrupt. Good job in choosing an evil being to put all your faith in.
twaallen32 1 year ago

Sorry
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 Lets save the personal comments and self-righteous judgment for the end - (after all the facts are presented) as right now there is tremendous confusion on someone's part and it would be bias and inappropriate to cast these stones in the glass house that we currently live in. ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay

ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@twaallen32 I wanted to use a specific word "puppeteer" that would reel you back in. The reason you are NOT making the connection is another word called "PRIDE!" I'm almost certain that you will find that word highly offensive as well. I too deal with it daily, because of being human (flesh) and puffed up with a "sin nature." It's more than prophecies - it's the ONLY BOOK that says salvation and redemption comes through the atonement of God Almighty Himself: shed blood and crucifixion of Christ
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay Instead of trading insults, let's get back to the business at hand twaallen32. Give me the exact scripture (Chapter and Verse) where you find contradiction in the Bible, or perhaps that you are not clear in understanding. As long as you have the patience, I want to set it straight concerning the preconditioning and confusion of why you think God doesn't make the facts as plain as the nose on your face. God is infinite and there is always going to be something to learn 4 both of us.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
John 1:10-11 says no (it's taking part in evil) while Peter 3:15 says you should defend your beliefs.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 Leviticus is O.T. (law) vs. John is N.T.,because Jesus is the substitution by crucifixion (sacrificing His blood for animals) with compassion and forgiveness in mercy 4 mankind. This addendum to Moses law was replaced by the Son of God for above reasons. At first sight, verse 5 seems 2 B antagonistic 2 the purport of the preceding verse, but is not. The words according 2 his folly means as his folly deserves (concordance). He is 2 B exposed and shamed, bringing him 2 a better mind.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
For the 3rd example (John v. Peter), again you are failing to teach any human being who reads the Bible what they should do and why they should do it. How can EVERYONE know what to do if only some parts apply to some people? Should you or should you not speak to non-believers?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 I never said that only some parts apply to some people, that is your impression apparently. The Gospel is about going and teaching to the world. The non-believer has not heard about God. The atheist has and rejects Him. See the difference? As a BELIEVER there is a responsibility to share the info, not force it down someone's throat. In your case, I am giving you the information and you can accept it or reject it. It will not affect me one way or the other. U are left without excuse.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Except for the excuse that what you are giving me is from a flawed, ancient embellished/fictional group of random stories.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
The Bible and your superbeing are failing to help.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 There is NO mistake on God's part, it is on behalf of man's "sin" that Christ came and sacrificed His life for the atonement. Before that, nothing was acceptable - God is Holy we are not! Instead of attacking and trying to find fault were none is, let's be patient with each other, or we're not going to get very far. If you knew anything about Islam, you would know that their salvation is had by good deeds - which is carnal and of the flesh. In other words man-made holiness.

Ouch!
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay

You also didn't respond to my comment about all the prophecies being vague and easily made by any human with common sense.

messed up the Genesis story big time.
But you're so deluded, you'll never understand that.

contradictions occur in nature so y not in life .
do u curse volcanoes for killing ppl. volcanoes are needed as it is a natural process.
why then do u curse god for killing ppl? do u understand what it takes to create a world or make it work. If u did then...
gjeacocke 1 year ago
@gjeacocke
Do you understand OMNIPOTENCE now?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 u are mnissing the point. ignore whether it is a god or nature. U accept that Volcanoes have no choice in how they operate. Its a life process.
Using logic and reasoning, u have to be allowed to apply that possibility with god, killing folk ,as I know for sure u don't know how or what it takes to CONTROL a world do u? lol
gjeacocke 1 year ago
@gjeacocke
I could be wrong, and you can correct me.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 well how else can the world operate?

@twaallen32 you are missing the point. U ACCEPT...U ACCEPT death is part of volcanoes process of working. in otherwords it's inevitable. inteligence doesn't come into the equation. think!!!!!
do u know how a universe is managed??? do u? then how can u dismiss that death is not part of it.? Death is part of volcanoes erupting.
gjeacocke 1 year ago
@gjeacocke
I know about how the current universe operates, but there is literally an infinite amount of ways the universe can function. Creating such universes is no problem to a being that is omnipotent. Look up the word and maybe you'll know what I'm talking about.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 U know what the physicst told u. An understanding is not the same...
u rely on memory
do u love your parents? do u loveyour g/f or wife etc? can u proove that u experience it? cos no one ever told u wha tit is yet u ACCEPT it..

@twaallen32 what has omnipotent got to do with anything?
tell me ?
gjeacocke 1 year ago
@gjeacocke
Many people believe in an omnipotent being that created everything. Some of those people also say that that being is omnibenevolent. Given the current conditions of existence, those two characteristics are incompatible.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 do u know exactly what it takes to make the universe(s) work? otherwise u would do it..therefore why are u trying to analyse something that your ability can not do. and just because it is out of reach of our understanding doen't mean it is any less truer
analogy: can a man who is 60 open the pages of a chopin sonata and play like a pianist?
gjeacocke 1 year ago

You thoughts are at best irrelevant and, for the most part, incoherent. life for u is surpassing greatness.
what stops u from killing me or ppl u don't like?
gjeacocke 1 year ago

ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay

Your method of convincing can be applied to any book... sad...

@twaallen32 If you would "NEVER make any unnecessary assumptions," why then do you judge the Bible not to be legitimate (before having all the answers) and therefore claim to be an atheist as the result of having done so. Doesn't that sort of smack of being a hypocrite?
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
The person posits that this book is the divine word of the creator of everything- extraordinary evidence is necessary for extraordinary claims.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
Has the Canterbury Tales been proven divine?
twaallen32 1 year ago
@twaallen32 No they are NOT like Nostradamus - these prophecies are biblical and ALL about Jesus Christ and fulfilled by Him exclusively. The problem here is as with most atheists, they've not studied the Bible and yet proclaim their GUESSES to the world - when it is not founded in the truth - because they're too damn lazy to devote any portion of their time to practice what they preach. If they really tried to disprove God's existence by reading the Bible - they would be convinced otherwise.
ShowMeThyWay 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay
For future reference, I have studied the Bible enough to know that it's mostly fiction/embellishment.
twaallen32 1 year ago
@ShowMeThyWay The Creator in the Bible is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and established a covenant with the multitudes through them. The special information I gave to U earlier means nothing to U, because if U did understand the significance of it, these questions that you now have would absolutely not have any bearing whatsoever. If U recognize "sin" then you recognize that there is a Creator. God loves the sinner, but hates the sin - because Jesus was crucified for it. R we any better?

You can choose to believe in something without an ounce of proof. There is nothing factual that supports any religion's claims. Religion was created to explain the unknown and comfort those with dead loved ones. All religions from the beginning of time have been made to explain what people can't comprehend and to give them a reason to be a model citizen. Atheists are the ones that take the universe as it is, and are strong enough to face the fact that when you die, you die.
Willisawesom123 1 year ago
@Willisawesom123 How much proof do you need, numbnuts? Prophecy FULFILLED 100% is beyond the Law of Probability and the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls are undeniable and tangible proof. Thinking something like you just stated without a shred of evidence - doesn't make it so! Once you have a reprobate mind of an atheist - without a spec of faith - you will never see the kingdom of God. Your soul is eternal and will exist in Hell for rebellion and the rejection of Jesus Christ as your Savior.

@Willisawesom123 Just like an atheist to once again BLAME God for everything. It's a lifestyle CHOICE, just like murder or anything else that someone chooses to divate from the norm. Homosexuality is sin and a device of the devil, in opposition of everything that God stands for - that's why God condemns it as an abomination. I just can't help myself is such BS

REPENT!

Statement: God is perfect. God created the universe.
1. For God to have created the universe, he must have a motive. That motive can be anything from boredom, to a desire for love.
2. For God to have been perfect, then he cannot have any of these traits. Such as boredom or longing for love.
3. Thus, God is either not perfect or did not create the universe.
Willisawesom123 1 year ago
@Willisawesom123 In being naive do U really think that God is bored, considering all that U are surrounded with in your life? What about if it's not about U or me. Maybe God was just proving His love to His Son AND His Son was PROVING His love for His Father. We (the world) just happen to be the recipients of being in the right place at the right time, which is called God's CREATION.
