i can not live without your voice maria callas when i hearher voice i feel that i am the most special human in whole the world, her voice is melting me OMG...the greatest Ever...Thank you maria for making my life so special and sweet...you are in my heart...<3
Dear Eileen, I am very happy that your first opera video has the voice of the greatest artist of last century, Maria Callas!
And as always my compliments for a very personal work, and a difficult task: you've chosen an aria that -specially for people who are not 'into' opera- is emotionally tied with 'Philadelphia'. But with your images you've created a work completely of your own.
Now you should dare more in the field of opera, no doubt! Opera lovers wait!
@b13ne Thanks Bruno! But, I'm not as confident as you are. I did try to stay away from the movie and focus on the story of the opera but it was hard given that I'm not an opera expert. Nevertheless, I'm glad I did it and I thank you (who does know about opera) for your kind words.
Great 05:15 all the way Eileen. Your full respect and care towards the songs and visual elements you´re dealing with are one of a kind.
I am not into Opera and I confess this music doesn´t suit me but, I couldn´t stop listening throughout the 5 minutes and ... that merit goes entirely to you.
Ps: I don´t know much about Maria Callas but the reference to "dramatic life" made me curious.
I like very much your video, Eileen. I'm away from studied in opera but i know appreciate the art when i see it and hears it. M. Callas had a magnificent voice wich could transport people where she wanted it. She still succeeds here and it is thanks to you, Eileen, that she reaches these because the choice of the work " La mamma morte " wich is an extraordinary part and images that you chose make that you created a work of art ! As T. Hanks, i've tears in my eyes. Great one!! Thank you, Eileen !
@revelrot I really appreciate your feedback!! I doubt everyone likes opera but to have you say that you "appreciate the art" when you see it and hear it is wonderful. I am gratified that someone can look at it that way. Thanks for your comment!
@appapo3 You're welcome!! Like you, I'm no expert on opera but sometimes, I just like hearing something well done (that's subjective, of course). I've read that Callas was considered (by the opera afficionados) the best soprano of the 20th century. That certainly makes it worth a listen. Thanks for your comments. Greatly appreciated.
I believe the super human vocal dynamics draw me to opera more than anything else. When ever I play anything remotely classical there is always some sarcastic remark, as who died. I just ignore this, and enjoy . Marie Callas will have have listeners far beyond the time frame of many modern pop stars. The pictures and video that took time are certainly appreciated on my end . I hope my remark does not insult any pop fans. I am far from studied in opera , and don't need to be for listening .
Very nice, thanks

there is a part missing
E l'angelo si accosta, bacia,
e vi bacia la morte!
Corpo di moribonda è il corpo mio.
Prendilo dunque.
Io son già morta cosa!
I am not expert at this but i think that that sould be at the end.
