Now I am not saying I didn't like The King's Speech, due in no small measure to the fact that I don't want to get shot in the face, but I did turn it off after 30 minutes because I was very very bored.

FINALLY! Someone else who didn't like Winter's Bone! This movie bored me! I wasn't expecting car chases or anything Hollywood-ized, I was expecting a dark and deep character study...and I didn't get it. The ending: "Here's your dad cut off his hands ok that's it the end." As you say: Woof! It was such a plateu of a film--one feeling from begining to end with no pay off. Hell! I wasn't even looking for some kind of "payoff" but a resolution...didn't get it!

what's the point? the reviews are not substantive or original, and the jokes are awkward. is it just meant to be a pseudo preview? LOVED you on Babble On! this character? not so much, for me. great production values, though bad lighting, skin looks orange. really wanted to like this.

I didn't like The King's Speech too much. I usually love these kind of movies, but this one was way to slow, and looked so old in the way it was shot, edited and directed
