  • soul is getting your hair straightened via the hot comb and not complaining about getting the shit burned out of you by your clumsy assed auntie who is responsible for doing your hair because your tight assed mama won't spend her hard earned money on a hair dresser who can do hair without burning the shit out of you sob sob sob sob .

  • What is Soul? I dont know

  • WHAT IS SOUL? SOUL IS SHOOTING AN ASSHOLE WITH A CHEEREO

  • WHAT IS SOUL? AN OLD FUNKATEER, SITTING IN HIS UNDERWEAR, EATING BEANS AND SMOKED PORK; WHILE LISTENING TO FUNKADELLIC AND WATCHING THE THREE STOOGES.

  • @PhillyGregA eweeee

  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN ARTIST IS FREE, FREE TO DO WHATEVER HE WANTS. FORGET WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS DOING. DO YOU!

  • Frusciante and the Chili Peppers took this song to another level

  • @TheFrusciante55 you're right

  • @TheFrusciante55 a lower level...

  • grooooovy

  • Ha ha ha... with all respect to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, they are little children in Sunday School compared to Funkadelic.

  • The Red Hot Chili Peppers can't touch this. This is the real shit!

  • UGK 3 16's

  • I need to get this album

  • the red hot chili peppers mastered this song and made it even more amazing!!!

  • man when your down get high listen to this and man youl start to wounder what if cows were red...and then there is no pain...

  • My favorite Funkadelics LP! This LP rocks as hard as any Led Zepplin LP and is as trippy as anything by Pink Floyd. Inner City Rock from the heart! They just don't make em like this anymore. The closest thing lately is Living Color. Love this!

  • i see colors

  • In funk for witch we stand!

  • In funk for witch we stand!

  • i grew up on funkadelic this is the shit does anybody know they were a r&b group first

  • @khruschev50 Funkadelic was never an r&b group. They were formed to back up Parliament 1967/68. I saw them on their first concert tour in 1968. This LP was released two years later. There's just too much talent in Plainfield, NJ.

  • i grew up on funkadelic this is the shit

  • best funkadelic album? it is for me - but thats just an opinion - so don't crucify me. Also my best album of all time. - it really doesn't get any better then this - but i'm willing to listen to any suggestions.

  • all that is good is nasty.. soul is rusty ankles and ashy knees ha

  • great lyric!

  • hamhock in your cereal... a joint rolled in toilet paper... and a funkadelic cough in your earhole

    that is soul my brethren

  • i heard this in 69-70 and that was it i was all funked up and have been ever sence!

  • The funk, the uncut funk, and nothing but the funk, so help me funk...this is the REAL SHIT...nothing else even comes close.

  • a joint in toilet paper was fucking cool and smoked good

  • a classic for sure!! i still have my album...(detroit purple s good..orange haze, orange haze) lol

  • Soul...is a joint rolled in toilet paper.

  • @Paulph04 Soul...is rusty ankles & ashy kneecaps.

    Soul...is chitlin' foo yung.

  • I owed this album when I was like 11 - 12 yrs old back in 1968-69. I believe I still have it packed away. Pure and Raw, never goes out of style.....

  • @iluvgifts2 I agree with you, this is a great album. But I have noticed that you have posted this exact same comment on 3 other Funkadelic videos. Just an observation.

  • @iluvgifts2 this album came out in 1970, so if you owned in in either 68 OR 69, you're a magician.

  • i got this on VINYL!

  • love it..

  • this album should be taught in schools

get the kids off the meph' etc ;)

  • this whole album blows me away..

  • "Fly on, Baby!"

  • @moneymontreal59 Yeah, UGK used this song as a sample

to make the song Three Sixteens, from their album 'SuperTight.

  • I really want this album haha
