  • i fucking want one but idk where to buy. looks fun since i can't ge5t the real thing

  • @zave1525 -Hobby stores, online or mortar. Research the Axial SCX-10, kit or rtr.

  • @pantablo thanks

  • is that a redcat rockslide 8:17

  • @VICTOR400HP -Nope, way before its time. Those were Axial rock crawlers converted to scalers.

  • @VICTOR400HP -Nope, that was an Axial AX-10 with a scale body on it.

  • Are aluminum links way better than plastic.

    What hard bodies would fit.

And ehat motor do you tecommend 35 45 or 55 turn

  • @800ktm-Most swap out the plastic right away. I'm more of the mind to upgrade when stuff actually breaks. I think the plastic ones will last a long time, depending on how you drive it of course.

Not sure what hardbodies fit directly, but extending or shortening the wheelbase is pretty easy so most will fit. Axial axles are wide though so most look a bit monster truck-ish but can be pulled off.

55t is most common and best all around IMO.

  • what do you thing about the axial scx10 trail honcho rtr

  • Its a great first rig. Very capable and lots of modifications available for later. Also relatively easy to swap a new body if you ever want to convert to a hard body.

  • Your videos are awesome. I ordered my Samurai body in Denmark for my Losi Mini Crawler to role with the 1/10. It has the oerfect scale to role with the 1/18's. Well, they lost the shipment and I lost 80 dollars.. Need to order another one god damned.. -.-

  • Thanks ch1ld0fbodom. The Samurai body works really well on the Mini ROck Crawler. Works best with smaller than 1.9 wheels/tires though.

Sorry to hear you had trouble getting your sammy though.

    Pablo-

  • @pantablo

I'm ordering one again next month. Hope I will receive it next time. :p I probably will look for 1.5 tires. I saw it on other clips too the 1.9 wheels would not fit perfectly. :-)

  • Most 1.55 tires by RC4WD are 95mm tall, same as many 1.9 tires. Their Dirt Grabber 1.55 tires are shorter and would work. Otherwise you're left cutting up tires like I do, lol.

  • i am looking at getting one of these can anyone recommend one to me

  • @pandersonx7x -the axial scx-10 kit or scx-10tr (trail ready, aka ready to run) is probably the best value in a kit and a very good performer out of the box. Changing the body is relatively easy and you can run it as is without having to upgrade it and be fine. They're quite capable.

There's also the Tamiya Hilift/Hilux/tundra kit. Way more money. More scale. not as good a performing rig out of the box. Check online or local hobby stores for these.

  • thanks

  • Fichissimo!!!

  • Grazie molto!

  • first of all awsome videos!!!!! second where do all of you get those awsome scale bodys from? i cant seem to find any good ones.

  • thanks dobbyson2008!

many of the bodies are from toy rc's, mostly by New Bright or Nikko. Some are Tamiya rc bodies and a few are HPI lexan bodies. check your local toysRus or Target for toy RC's.

  • the landy is too sweet

  • yes. I havent seen him out in a while. When he would bring it out he'd baby it so much, lol...

  • sweet thanh you very much i couldnt seem to find them any where

  • subaru brat 4x2?

  • its a subaru brat body on a CC-01 chassis so its 4x4. I now also have one that I stretched with a custom chassis under it. FUN!

  • 車重4トンを超えるマシンとは思えない程!!!

    恐るべしハンドルさばき!!!

    ありがとう。 経験および技術はよいトラックと同様、重要である。

  • what chassis is the lr3 at 3:34 and the defender at 8:51 and the defender at 9:03

  • 3:34 is my gwagon-custom chassis with TLT axles.

8:51 is an LR3 on a hilift I think, or possibly custom chassis as well.

9:03 is an old landy on custom chassis. I'd have to ask sleek6mt what chassis he's running on that. TLT axles though.

  • We left about 5:45pm they were just about to boot us out.

  • you would have stayed till after dark if you could have, lol...I think its time I get lights.

  • Hey thanks for a great day of crawling. I had a blast, even if my truck is a 2.2. Got to get working on a scaler.

  • 2.2's are always welcome, especially scalers. Only issue you'll likely have with it is lack of challenges following oru 1.9's. Seems the 2.2's that were out had sufficient difficulties though...lol...

  • i was born in the wrong place and wrong time !!..

i should been born there near you guys =)

  • we feel very lucky to have so many places so close.

  • This was a lot of fun I can't wait till the next time!!!!

  • me either! We'll plan another soon. Next one will corral canyon again, but we'll scope out some spots farther up, hopefully we can find the caves!

  • nice :) and all the shots of my rig are my wife driving! ;p

  • and most shots of my rigs are your wife driving too, lol...

  • Well one of them :) The one of the Rover was me I think.

  • most of my gwagon shots are your wife driving too (not bad for a first timer!). Time to get her own rig...

  • Excellent scale meeting video! Thats a lot of rigs. :D 5/5! All of them are 1/10 scale right?

  • yes, all are *technically* 1:10 scale but range in accuracy.

  • Thank you for answer my question quickly. How long usual event last?

  • We got there around 10am, started driving around 10:45am. Some people left around 2pm. I left around 4:30 and there were still people there crawling when I left...

  • great job!

  • Glad you liked it. Another to follow.
