You would probably need a turbo controller to do that. In any case, the game is probably so highly structured around the expected events in the game, that the programmers MADE the game so that no human (or turbo controller) could possibly alter the events of the game. The same thing happens near the end of GOW3 too. No matter how quickly you tap the controller, it just doesn't seem to do anything.
