  • Πολύ ορέο τραγούδι

  • i mean gwen stefani

  • @xparamore4evrxD she copied from this musical

  • so i watched this movie in school and all the girls started singing over the music"if i were a wealthy girl" by christina aguilera

  • Bessenyei Ferenc - Ha én gazdag lennék (If I Were a Rich Man)

    Ez is tökéletes!

    Love from Hungary!!

  • We watched this movie at school. Was so funny

  • that whole staircase thing had so confused when I was little :P and the whole geese thing. If you're rich why would you want a bunch of animals running around???

  • @troubel911 Don't quote me on this, but I think it's because if he were wealthy, he'd have the money to have those animals. The fact that he'd have them would show he was wealthy.

  • @earthy28 yah I get that now. But when I was little I was soooo confused

  • Tevye is the 99%.

  • gwen stafani did her own version of this song. its funny!

  • Tevye: If I were a rich man...

Golde: You'll be late for the Sabbath!

Tevye: Knock on my door! Knock next time! ...did you see anything?

Golde: No, Tevye, I didn't see you dancing and singing to the animals again.

    Tevye: Good.

  • XD XD XD We watch this in Chior n evrytime he starts to shimmy our class looses it!!!

  • @smoothcriminal10000 we do that 2 our teacher is mrs tipton

  • yeah, just shimmying in my dorm room. no big deal. <3

  • Might as well be the Jewish Community's National Anthem. :/

  • 10 people are already rich :)

  • super!

  • when you're rich, they think you really know, lol

  • Although I didn't think about it at the time, I feel really priveledged to have watched this guy live on stage before he retired.

  • This musical is so great. Not only does it have fantastic songs and a badass lead but it also has a good story. Usually you can only get two of those.

  • The story of Fiddler on the Roof takes place in Russia under the Czar and before communism. I have studied communism quite a bit and its history. There are many versions of communism but they all have one thing in common and that is a 100% failure rate. If you don't think so look at the history of any communist country.

  • @mrwizard1111 Not true at all. Top down government has a 100% failure rate if there is no way for the two groups to communicate.

  • XD I watched this movie with my dad a few years ago. <3 We still make jokes about it.

  • I love Fiddler on the roof!!

  • There are no rich men cause its all perspective. There are those without a dollar to their names but have family and friends that love them. If you asked that man if he were rich he might say he was the wealthiest in the land. I guess what i'm saying is it's all relative. Hopefully one day there will be no classes, no poor, rich or middleclass just people in a world based on unity, cooperation and equality with no borders, no theft, no war, no lies, no distrust. A united world utopian society !

  • that would be nice. personnally, money isn't important to me, and I try to not be too egoist, but i realise that in this world, if you want to survive, the best way is to be ambitious, cupid, merciless... if you are just good, you just end up on a cross... :-(

  • @LeFaucheur Bull. The desire for enough, and the desire for eternity alone, are two different things.

  • @LeFaucheur wait cupid? teach me this third aspect of the victorious personality!

  • @endtyrany I am pretty sure China and Russia came up with a similar idea..... They called it Communism.

  • @tattoonaters Communism is the form of government they have not an economic system! What i am describing is called a resource based economy and would be based on a democratic society! Though RBE is sometimes called stateless communism let me assure you it is quite different. PS: you wont have to worry cause there are too many greedy, selfish, narcissistic, egotistical, vain, imperious people and so i guess we are stuck in a world filled with war, greed and pollution! Goodluck with it !

  • Cat Balloons

  • If I were a rich man, I wouldn't have to work all night long. and THAT would be the sweetest thing of all.

  • @TheShadow111111the No one cares. Keep that to yourself.

  • @TheShadow111111the you are an asshole, this is why girls never get close to you troll

  • @TheShadow111111the Yeah go back to your Justin Bieber

  • the movie is based on Sholom M'Leham's books on Tevia, the milkman. It shows pre-1905 Czarist Russia, as there was an attempt on the Czar in 1905 called "Bloody Red October' as a prelude to the 1917 Bolshevick Revolution. The movie touches every Jewish bone in my body. It was time of my great grandparents. My grandmother lived in time of the progroms and the AntiSemitism. What wonderful piece of musical theater showing 19th Century and early 20th Century Jewish Ghetto life. Wonderful!

  • haha we are doing this musical at school and i am tevye!!!! i cant wait!!!!

  • I love this movie!!! So good... and this song just enhances it!

  • Este gran artista es el mas sobresaliente en su vos y su actuación

  • I love this song! i love musicals!

  • Goodsound quality but no video

  • Mostel is better imo.

  • Brilliant, they dont make movies like this anymore.. What a pity

  • Gwen Steffani should have a nail bat that is tipped in battery acid shoved up her ass for bastardizing this song

  • his dancing is what we would call "epic"

  • Brilliant, Topol as Tevye is one of my favourite musical roles.

  • 1:43 - 1:46 lol lamo xD sooo funny

  • Is this the middle jam of the song "Scent of a Mule" by Phish????

  • this sog makes me miss my days as a dancer we did this sog once *sigh* lol :)

  • btw, did u know Topol was only 36 when he did the Fiddler movie in '71? 36?! I thought he was 50 or older. Some much for what i know

  • Wow! I never knew that! =O I wonder if they grayed his hair and such.

  • You can do wonderful things in theater. Hehe. Don't know if they had to gray the hair or not, though.

  • @Mir11Mir they did in a way. the gray parts in his hair/bear are pieces of the directors hair that they cut ff (the director was white-haired) and wove into his hair/beard

  • @stl49erfan Well hell! I feel much better about that big old crush I had on him. ;)

  • @stl49erfan I just learned this myself the other day. A little more trivia for you - Tevye later reprized the roll in touring productions of the show and the actress who played his daughter Tzeitel in the movie appeared with him playing his wife Goldie.

  • @stl49erfan wow I did not know that! they did a great job "graying" him up!

  • @stl49erfan Yes we all knew that!

  • @stl49erfan I did not know that. THanks for sharing.

  • @stl49erfan WOW.

  • oy .........This still makes my Bubbie cry...

  • If you compare it, Gwen Steffanis "Version" sucks balls^^

  • lol me 2...every single time I've seen this it makes me cry cuz I'm laughing soo freakin hard...

  • @unknownloner101 Did you know that the story and movie "Fiddler on the Roof" is a real story about real people who came to the U.S. as refugees fleeing religious persecution? There is quite a lot more story than what the movie shows.

  • Awesome, the songs and the whole history told in this film.

  • if i were a rich man i'd grow a beard like that! (: )ll=- lol
