@somanysomanycookies I may be new to the scene, but yeah this type of hype is a bit too much now. Yes it DID help build excitement for MvC2 and it does have its charm especially if you're comfortable with "urban hype". But the way MvC3 was marketed and way it's been embraced by more people means that the old "hype" is looking foolish when people are hyping up commentary in less belligerant ways. Even Yipes (the Master of Hype) is toning it down. That just goes to show you right there.
