hmmm. its look great but i alredy have it on the wii in better grapics and i hate to play on my 3ds when i take it with me because im 14 years old and its imbarising just owning one. and the battery life sucks so its emty all time. i only play 3ds when i got a charging spot near me its just no other ways

this game is very SMK. koopa instead of wario. coins. it is almost the 20th anniversary so it makes sense.

why does everyone want the rainbow roads ressurected? fuck no. each rainbow road is unique to its own MK and should be immune to being brought back. i just hope to see diddy playable.

and for once it looks like they may be picking more good than shitty courses for the retro grand prix. luigi's mansion is ok but i loved maple treeway and airship fortress! waluigi pinball would be good

@supermariocheats44 Careful analysis of trailers, off-screen videos, interviews, previews, articles... It's all out there, you just need to look close. Look at Track #4. I saw the windmills and knew this couldn't be part of any of the other tracks. So I took every shot that had windmills, pine trees or snow-covered mountains in the background and combined it with a tune that sounds like Holland. ^^

I really hope Dry Bowser comes back, and of course, Bowser Jr. I looooooove Bowser Jr. I really hope they bring back Wario Colosseum, Waluigi Pinball, Daisy Cruiser, and Koopa Cape. My four favorite Mario Kart tracks...I also hope they add some really cool characters like Geno and Dry Bowser Jr. I also hope they add Dry Bones, Rosalina, and some others. @supermariocheats44 Good question! First of all a lot of classic items return: Banana, Mushroom, Green, Red and Spiny Shell, Star, Lightning, Bob-omb, Blooper and Bullet Bill. The only classic items that seem to be missing so far are Boo, fake item box and Golden Mushroom. The game is still in development though, we might see some other items including new ones.

@McGloomy Great picks dude. i would love to see those appear here. as for the SNES retro courses i'd add Mario Circuit 4, Donut Plains 2 or 3, Koopa Beach 2, and Rainbow Road. the SMK retro tracks in the Wii version did'nt get alot of love. they only added two SMK tracks to the Wii version and it made no sense why they did'nt add more than that. in a perfect world we'd also get the Rainbow Road tracks from MK64 and MKDD as well :).

@OldSchoolGaming4Life it makes perfect sense. they needed 16 courses but had to work with 5 mario kart titles. cant take 4 out of all of them so they leveled it out by taking 2 SNES and 2 GBA because those courses are predominantly flat and boring. they will probably continue the trend and only add 2 GCN and 2 N64 courses to keep it at 16. and i doubt theyll ever restore a rainbow road, rainbow road is unique to its own MK.

@wxgeek723 Sure but it was still the first MK game released and should've had 4 retro courses represented, not two. i mean come on especially when they added pretty much 2 unecessary courses from the DS MK game, Yoshi Falls and Desert Hills. one of the longer Donut Plains and Rainbow Road from the SNES MK game would've made more sense and better choices IMO. speaking of the Rainbow Road courses they COULD add at least two per MK game, including a retro one, especially since MK Super Circuit did.

@OldSchoolGaming4Life well, MKSC was different. they brought back the WHOLE snes version. but if you only pick out certain levels, i dont think there is a need for rainbow road to return. looking at ds and wii i think nintendo agrees. and snes courses were just too plain to get much love in mkwii. but i agree yoshi falls and desert hills suck. i think they deliberately pick shitty ones so that they can make a mario kart with an amazing retro GP. hopefully it's this game.

@OldSchoolGaming4Life (1/2) i was thinking that too :) there's a lot i wish would return. i think theyll try and take levels that are good for the new glider, like koopa troopa beach, royal raceway, daisy cruiser, waluigi pinball, coconut mall. im confident koopa cape will be back because thats a good level not just for the glider but for the new propellor too. im betting on gba bc 4, any other level from gba is fair game. same with snes, i want them to upgrade one of the vanilla lakes because

@OldSchoolGaming4Life 2/2 vanilla lake still hasnt been upgraded. same with snes bowser castles but i dont think they will have a SNES bc and a GBA bc. ive noticed they may fix some levels to make them good for the glider, like they did with luigi's mansion in the trailer. im hoping on mushroom city and yoshi valley. idk we'll see in december.
