yes a good operator but i run a d10t everyday in nv doing reclomation and the cat oper. coulda dropped his ripper for aditional ass end wait, and in neutral push blade down pick up front end and then reverse, works everytime
@markdmy i have ran a few of my dads dozers and when your pushing it really isnt that bad but when not pushing and moving slow in semi-sompact gravel it jerks you around a little.
A d11 puts 23.5 psi on the ground. A d6 lgp only puts 4 -5 psi. If you are running in deep mud (I ran in muskeg in N. Canada) it is VERY easy to get the larger machines stuck. A loader or excavator can use the bucket to pull or push themselves out- on a dozer after it sinks a foot and a half the weight is resting on the body and the tracks spin. Watch a video of them working- you load the blade and the tracks spin on the ground. In mud this will sink you.

lol they werent working against each other they were working together point is komatsu engine will last longer cat have a history of having junky engines especially in the trucking industry
I lost a terex TA30-7 in a silt pond! backwards, had to dig around it with 24ton slew and under it by hand, needed a volvo 35tonner and case 24 tonner to pull it out! about 3 hours it took!
that excavator dwarfs the D10

how the f**k can u get somthing that big stuck????
reidponiesc4 11 months ago
@reidponiesc4 very heavy machine. It doesnt matter how "big" the machine is if the ground is too wet to be in it.

Funny how whenever there is a 10 or 11 around they are usually not the biggest machines on the yard by a long shot. But if it is a 6 or 7 they are.

Excellent recovery. Good job. Lot's of experience and patience from both operators. Those are the men to be working with.
