Obviously they're romanticizing the product like a company of any size would, it's not incredible. I've tried it and the guide tells you to take some pretty nonsensical questing routes, makes you travel to entirely different zones for only a couple quests and I can recall doing a quest (as it told me to do) without the turn-in step included.

That said, it's still not a terrible guide but nobody needs this thing. To get to level 80 (or whatever the case may be) you just need a little gumption.

I am very satisfied with just the trial.

I got the guide, and was following every step it gave me on my 50 rogue, and in an hour i almost got halfway to 51. If this is the rate you would like to go at i suggest you get this guide. But, not good enough for me... ill just stick to my plan of getting a friend to recruit. the way i think about it, why buy a 100$ guide when you could go out and buy WoW for $20...recruit and play... if your grouped you get 300% more exp. If your computer can handle it you can just run two WoW's at once too.

This addon though is completely legit, I've tried the trial and its a huge step over leveling guides i've used in the past. I'll probably get it when I get the money.

No addon can possibly log your password to your account. The addons are not even loaded, until you click the "Enter World" button at the chararacter selection page.

It depends entirely on what your friend downloaded. He could have downloaded a bunch of addons and had them auto-install (which is risky). If you're worried about getting hacked, scan downloads before you install them. Google "Zygor 2.0 download", you'll find several torrents where people download an outdated version of this guide + addon for free, and the comments are mostly positive. If your account is ever hacked (happened to me once years ago), call Blizzard and they'll get it back ASAP.
