how did you get that light streak effect

@urbanperformanceokc I used after adobe effects for those.. but you can just do it during the shoot by using an anamorphic lens filter :)

Well for video night shooting yes there is a difference,all USM lenses have better quality,the 1.8 is not USM,you can search youtube and see video taken with 1.4 or visit my account there is a video I made with this lease its my Hamster video looool, and remember I am still beginner :x I still have aloooot to learn.

try this lens Canon 50mm f/1.4 USMor, for shotting @ night you will notice a big differences :)
