are the NC's stock turbo if so that aint fair the NA's and NB's were supposed to be turbo but mazda released the car with those turbo B motors but no turbo

cant one just use a cometic head gasket to lower the comp a bit plus arp studs??? sry turbo bmw guy here but hopefully a new NC guy soon

10 psi on this dyno run. It has seen as much as 14 on the stock block so far.

@cafenated whats the stock comp ratio? What is the weak point on this motor, being every motor has one.

10.8:1. Weak point is the loose nut behind the wheel ;) All in the tuning...

@cafenated so the rods,pistons,headbolts & gasket will hold consistent boost. I hve boosted a k20 they have 11.0:1 they can do alot with good tuning but you hve to upgrade the fuel pump&injectors to start

Injectors yes, but the stock fuel pump is plenty on this car. Again, tuning is the key here at these high compressions.
