  • Really outstanding!

Why don't you try doing "Anesthetize" from " Fear of a blank planet"?

    That would be phenomenal IMO.

  • fantastic!

  • I like you buddy!

  • nice one man!

  • that ride sounds exactly like gavin's

  • @TheMASDrummer he actually uses the same ride, although his sounds nicer! Zildjian priority hehe

  • Not a Porcupine Tree fan but you're an Aussie drummer like me so I will give a thumbs up.

Could you play us some Genesis?Seconds OPUt version of Firth Of Fifth would be aweswome.Porcupine Tree don't touch the heart strings for me.

  • Well Done Sir!!! From a semi pro Pommie!

  • @TheSMonkhouse hehe thanks!

  • Great feel, groove and control! Awesome! Is your drum a Premier?

  • @HamburgerTrain thanks for that!! it is a yamaha oak custom with brady Jarrah snare drums

  • @aussiedrumnerd Are you a hobby drummer or do you have/intend a professionnal career?

  • @HamburgerTrain I work steadily with bread and butter gigs, and teach drums through the week, not making big money but getting by!

  • Outstanding. I really enjoyed that. Beautiful piece of music and your work to it was fantastic. (that whole bit from then on in 'the incident' is sooo good, I'm sure you'd agree.)

  • @tubefac3 Thanks mate! yeah an awesome album start to finish

  • Niice job brother.. Really love the drums in this tune, especially the middle part, u captured it quite well!!

    Congratulations!!

    greetings from Chile !

PD: sorry if my english is bad.

  • @schismowy Thanks Heaps!

  • Niceeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • @Albalandia Thhhaaaannnkkkkssss!

  • Awesome job!! You really nailed this song.

I've been watching the "Anesthetize" DVD lately, and I was wondering if you might be able to enlighten me as to how the ending part of "Cheating The Polygraph" goes. The combination of bad camera angle and dark lighting makes it really hard to tell exactly what the hell he's doing. Thanks!!

  • @rushfan89 Hey man! i will check it out and get back to you on that one as soon as I get time!. Thanks for your feedback!

  • @rushfan89 Just in case you don't already know, on drummerworld's forum, Gavin actually personally answers just about every question fans ask him - including that one! If you find his thread there, you should be able to search it and find a transcription of that segment with sticking and all.

  • @MrPerson72 Oh, Thanks! I didn't know that. I'll definitely go there and check it out. Thanks again!

  • dude that was SOOOO good!!!!!! Im BIG time impressed!

  • @pwnisher Thankyou and Thanks for watching it!

  • Can you drum, yeah.

  • Absolutely amazing!! You have great skills! One question.. how is the fill in 2:57 and 1:46 done? Is this some kind of rudiment?? Could you please help me to figure it out... thanks

  • @ppaweluz Hey mate thanks for watching!. The best I can explain in text for the fills is 1:46. Tom/snareFlam, L , R= China, R=Tom, L = Snare. 2:57. R L on Kick , Tom/snare flam, R L = Snare, Tom/snare flam, R= Snare L = Crash1, R=Crash 2. They are basically flamtriplets. Hope that helped a little haha!

  • @aussiedrumnerd

Thank you very, very much for your help! Now I get it :)

  • Spot on.

  • Lovely Playing man!!!

  • @BlogsofWoolhouse thanks for watching it!!
