  • @imtheFreshest i can get lsd but hunting shrooms will be fun and somthing to do lol :) and very rewarding

  • Lol at 0:40 I thought you meant the stick :D

  • Clearviewmind, these mushrooms were made a class A drug a few yrs back, you really dont want to get caught the them in you mitts m8.

    Go carefull but have fun!

  • @LesnRe BBC labeled mushrooms as the "least harmful" in this article: bbc(dot)co(dot)uk/news/uk-11660210

  • why can't you pick them?

  • chunk, i hope swiyou enjoyed them. Golf courses are good as the grass is usually very short and you can spot them easy.

  • swim picked over 300 of these on a certian bristol golf course last week :)

  • Strumbolli, ive got some fantastic macro pics of frozen libs, they keep flushing through the milder frosts and the end of the season in Oxfordshire is the end of January, youve been missing out on two months of the season mate!

  • fucking us, they don't grow shit

  • Do these grow in Ulster? and if they do, are the chances of finding lookalikes that are dangerous high? I'm a complete beginner so I'm going to buy a guide before I do anything.

  • the psilocybe i found i have just identified to be the psilocybe semiglobata which is not active but quite tasty and its interesting because of the glutinus coating which makes thema bugger to pick still no liberty caps tho

  • nsraver, you go for it m8. Im off out after lunch for a look about, been too busy this week so there should b loads about.

Hope u find some. I will send u a private message on your youtube page later today.

  • i went for a look today after work found many nippled shrroms growing tiny ones so couldnt see the gills colour as veil hadant opened going tomoro at 7am armed with a flask of coffee my book and plenty of ciggs as im determined to find them

  • it just seams the feild i hunt in is riddled with white gills i havant found a sigil purple gilled one down south but up north where im heading in early decemeber again there was tons of them so ill go there i guess=D

  • Snraver, they have only just started to pop up around Oxfordshire your further south than me so theres still hope m8. I found some massive ones the other day, they were so big I nearly binned them.

Ive got one on video but wasnt sure what it was, I didnt post it cos its not good to pick shrooms if your not 100% sure, they brused blue so alls good.

  • @LesnRe Blue bruising with a purplish/brownish spore print.

  • im back down south again in portsmouth seems there not growing around here many tiny look alikes no libs yet but ill keep looking as its very late in the season and i supose its a bloody good bike ride to keep me fit haha

  • 32 gaugeslug, seems my season is now underway too. Some of the shrooms were so big I nearly dismissed them as lookalikees! found over 200 in just over an hour. Enjoy your season mate.

  • Up in the Peak District is insane. Loads of alternative types out combing the fields for mushrooms.

  • Really please for u snraver :-D

  • i found them!!!!! in a field in lincoln which is 220miles north of where i usually hunti got 26 of them =]

  • It's that time of year people! ;)

  • Hi mind, your lucky to find 30, im still at a blank m8! It has to be the mild weather, ive usually got loads by now. I will be looking again this weekend. Hope u have a bit more luck in the next few days.

  • @LesnRe found loads today....there about

  • I've been all over and only found about 30!.....whats going off, there used to be 100's? this hasn't got anything to do with chemtrails has it?

  • @MindCrazedBanjo It's usually temperature based. You need to find the best temps, amounts of sun and time of day for them. I don't personally know what they are, but I know that it's quite important.

  • he picked them after he stopped the video

  • im not sure if ive asked yet but do you pick in hampshire? it looks as though your on the farlington marshes near portsmouth

  • im not sure if ive asked yet but do you pick in hampshire?

  • Snraver, dont worry the shrooms should be around till late december.

You still have plenty of time left. Cold weather and the rain will get things started.

  • @LesnRe tyvm mate ive ordered a psilocybe identification book from amazon which should arive in 1-2 days im realy kean to learn about shrooms nd which to take=D

  • @LesnRe Really ? I thought the first frost killed them . I`ve never picked them after November . It`s a few years since I had them ,but I used to have regular when I was much younger . The October half term when I was in school they were rampant ,never had a bad time on them . I`m middle aged now a trip would probably frighten the life out of me.

  • just been hunting shrooms and didnt find 1 of any type except a couple of shrivelled up dead ones have i missed season? 3 weeks ago there was hundreds of them but no magic ones

  • Bomb, I had a look on sunday and found nothing! These colder nights should bring better results for next weekend. Theres loads more sheep in my fields than normal, hope they dont munch them all.

Good luck with your hunt anyway, let me know how u get on.

  • hunting our spot on Sunday, with these rainy nights and overcast days (Midlands) i can almost smell em!

  • Flickem before you pickem:)...spread the spores.

  • earli humid september 2 oct mornings.....

  • @tranoz4 i know some pukka spots for picking, but its in the midlands

  • @redeye55i where abouts in the midlands mate , not the exact field but what general area are you in ... me and my friend went to look in a field we found hundreds in a couple years ago , now we went back last year and found almost nothing , this year we went last weekend only found a couple at the bottom of a hilly area but so far nothing

  • Px, Coventry should be ok mate, you might have to wait a few days after the expected rain and the ground temp has dropped a bit.

    Good luck on your hunt.

  • @LesnRe Do you know about any libs near Leeds? I did scout through couple of fields but no luck.. Gonna give a better look tonight though.

  • Is it possible to find those magic things somewhere next to Coventry?

  • Its not worth going out and looking until the temps drop a bit. Probably have a nose around next weekend.

  • Thums ump im flrying on libertycapes!

  • Erkier, yes it is still too warm down south and the temps you stated were spot on mate. Ive never found them before October in my area. Hope to u have some good luck this season.

  • Went out for a little look about yesterday. I didnt see a single shroom of any type. Probably be another couple of weeks yet in my area.

  • @LesnRe same story here, i only found 2 mushrooms of any kind in 1.5 hours. but i read that semilanceata prefer temperatures <10C (~50F) at night and <15C (~60F) at daytime so it might be a bit early here (estonia) also. and of course much much rain. i'll go try again saturday. good hunting to you too! :)

  • awsome on a good point it wasnt poisonus because im still alive!!! ill wait a week or so for some cooler weather

  • nrav3r, that might be a bit of wishfull thinking, u need at least 20 to get any effects.

  • @LesnRe 3 on an empty stomach work for me-in fact 1 has worked.I'm not a lightweight either,just sensitive

  • snrav3r, the purple brown spore print is a good sign m8 but be carefull. Have a look on a legal high forum or something like that just to make sure. If you have found them "well done!" You have been persistant and triumphed :-)

  • @LesnRe i found another i ate it and im unsure if it was a funny fungus but i saw things out the corner of my eye before bed could that be me wanting to trip so badly i actually trip or the mushy sounds odd i know lol

  • last question mate what colour spore print is a safe one to eat i found a small batch of shrooms this morning at 5 am spore print is dark purply black

  • A day after the rain is good. It was certainly cold enough last night lol. I will be having a look in the next few days.

  • Snrav3r, thats a good sign, where one type of shroom grows others will also. Keep looking mate :-)

  • @LesnRe should i wait for more rain as were forcast a good few days of downpoors perhaps i wait untill the wets gone?

  • hey the first one you found, i found lots of those today in a large field next to a football pitch and golf course also in a small corner is a horse stables would the trippy ones grow here?

  • Nice one Day of the what ever. Perhaps some constructive critasism would be a bit better, we arnt all perfect like you are we!

Just for you I shall try a bit harder on the focus next time eh!

  • learn how to film with the proper focus... why even bother when the quality is so shitty.

  • Like @lesnRe said, you wont find them in wooded areas, but moorland and cow fields, ground that is moist and has been there a long time and has been untouched by man (farming). we found in devon (sidmouth) that they are also found in valleys close to cliffs, to which we thought they wouldnt grow near salt air, but they do, not loads but enough ;)

  • Snrav3r, wooded areas are a big no,no u wont find any there. When libs r wet and young they are a greeny brown colour they dry out to a straw colour in the sunlight. The gills under the cap are a brown/purple colour, never go for ones whith white/light brown colour gills. The horse field sound an ok area tho :-)

  • @LesnRe thanks for that info what size am i looking at when i measure the cap and stalk

  • @LesnRe sorry to spam video im jus curios i want to pick them but as i have no friends where i live i have to go solo and would like as much info as i can get cheers

  • nrav3r, cow fields are a good start, I usually go looking later in the day, this is because the sun dries out the caps to a straw colour and they are easier to see in the grass. Theres no reason why they shouldnt be in portsmouth.

    Good luck.

  • @LesnRe thanks for the wishes today i was hunting locations i walked aprox 8 miles and came across 2 good looking spots, one was a woodland area with lots of dead leaves on the ground and i spotted some large white ones growing/ half eaten by some kind of animal they had a 1.5cm stem and head was around 2 inchs side to side they was white about 2-3 inches tall the other area was corner of a horse field i spotted alot of dung scattered around and the ground was moist but no mushrooms

  • Tranoz, I dont know any areas around your area, if you have transport I have given directions to a place in south wales on my other mushy video, its genuine and should give you a good days picking. I cant give any other site info as people tend to overpick and trash the sites.

Keep looking and you will find them. I was driving all over the place untill I found them near my house.

    Good luck anyway.

  • Nice one snipe, what area r u in? Ive put hundreds in my lawn but never had any luck, got very clayee soil.

Nice to know they r on their way.

  • Just found some in my back garden <3

  • Getting towards the new season again, wonder if its going to be a good one this year, weve had plenty of rain so fingers crossed eh!

  • @LesnRe any idea if i can find these in a cow field in portsmouth and what time of day and which kinda of weather i need to wait for

  • Bang on vid moreeeeee

  • Hi, i will be posting a longer and better quality video a bit nearer the season. If anyone has any ideas to make it as informative as possible, give me a shout.

  • <3

  • any posdibility these things grow in ontario? sworn ive seen em

  • They have these in California, and Im sure that is in America because i live there

  • Check out my other mushie vid, theres directions for a good hot spot area in South Wales in the comments section. Its under liberty caps.

  • will these get you high? and how come i don't see these in america?

  • @TheSteezeSkaters I think you get cyanescens over there.

  • @TheSteezeSkaters Will these get u high ? !! These are outstanding! I've been taking these from i was 16 .. I'm now 36 ! :D just like LSD a bit more intense but alot more spacey only without the insomnia and strung out crash when u come down of LSD

  • why can't you pick them?

  • @sh4p3shifter Because they are now classed as a class A drug so you really dont want to be caught with a mittfull of them.

  • Early
