  • This would be great!!! If it was funny.

  • Can you please tell me where do you get the soundtrack ? Thank you (:

  • Great fun. I was raised in Shorewood, nearby. Which park did you shoot the film in?

  • It was filmed in Klode Park along the lakefront.

  • i really love this! lol XD wish u would make it into a series. i shot a silent film on an 8mm too the other day

  • Good film. Sorta reminds me of those old Charlie Chaplin films.

  • I hate to critique on a hilarious and light hearted video. But just putting it out there that there was minimal camera movement back in these type of films. Love what you did with it though.

  • You're right. Just to explain, all the scenes with camera movement were improvised scenes. That squirrel showed up and I didn't have time to set the camera on the tripod, so I just started filming! :)

  • True that. I see now all the other shots are well placed. Have you seen anything by Guy Maddin? I HIGHLY recommend you check his stuff out if you haven't. There's some good shorts here on youtube.

  • ha this is prefect as my French lesson!

  • C'est bien plus amusant que beaucoup de vrais films francais! Bon boulot!

  • what a delicious parody of style and a very funny video too!

  • it could have used better framing while shooting it on the wall and some color correction overall but not bad.

  • hahaha, holy shit. I found your vid cause im shooting an old silent 8mm comedy right now too. you seriously had me cracking up, soooo funny that you did the mustache and the little twist cause i just shot a scene like that today. funny when you see someone on the same wavelength. your humor is awesome.

  • lol I like how the two lovers are pecking each other

  • I think that the film is very funny. And it looks old. I like old silent films!!!

  • Probably the only silent film I've enjoyed watching since Nosferatu (silent is tough to watch). I think all the crap I've ever put on a 16mm should be translated to a silent film. Then maybe they'll be good like this.

  • Oh well it would be cool my friends all said ti was so funny like the part with young love on the bench

  • This viedo was funny the music was cool too when will Monsieur Y in the Park be comming out?

  • Actually, I had extra film left over, so I filmed that stuff for the Coming Soon part. There are no plans for a sequel. :)
