Heya, i'm thinking of getting this tablet for my dad who's a HUGE comic book fan
but he mostly has european comics, those are a bit bigger then US comics. How well do these apps work in landscape/widescreen mode, so you do have to scroll down, but the image is bigger
Any verdict on the app 'Comics'? Is the online library big enough? I've never read much comics, but I'd love to a little bit more. I'm just not sure if I should leave it to an app's online library or if I should get my own .cbr's
thanks for this review - love to see more apps tested
I read on iPad. It has a very fast/nice swipe-animation. But I dislike iTunes so much i'm making the switch to Android! :)
Questions:
Can swipe from right to left and from left to right to go forward or back in a comic. Soms apps don't do that. How its this on Android?
Do any of there readers keep record of how far you are in the comic (Page X of Y)? I'd like to see this in the library - very usefull. Does any of these apps do this?

cYo made an Android version of his ComicRack application. It works really well and is Honeycomb optimized.

Impressed at how nearly 1:1 the page sizes are on the asus and the actual comic.

Asus displays always have bluish tint and not as vibrant from my experience.

you didn't talk about the fit to width/height of perfect viewer (so useful). Customized tap sections !!!

Great info! I also recommend reading Batman and Dredd in Die Laughing. Also I use Pocket Viewer on Android.

Very good review. I'm planning or purchasing a transformer. And one of the main reasons is reading comics. Thanks.
