@aerometall you know that he doesnt even use his high c in the intire song... saying you play it an octave higher than what he plays then saying its becuase he has an extra sting he doesnt use is kinda stupid. the song is in a standard... chugs the D string open and plays the melody on G which come togeher and creates a very strong sound to make the intro have its originality

you are playing the opening wrong... the default note (c) is supposed to be an octave lower.

music is music.... it does not matter if you play a song on a 4 strings bass, on a 6 strigs, on the flute, on the keyboard, on a violin, etc....

A 6 strings bass can help a lot in some cases, true, but it isn't like you "need" one.

it's hard to find indd i have a 5 string bass and it sounds crappy on that the best way is to tune it way down or just buy an 6 string...:)

it is not played by repeating the same note twice.

you have to play an additianl d between every note.
