Please people stop promoting the outlandish idea that men and women are equal. Historically there have always been traditional roles for men to play as there have been for woman. When men cease to play their roles woman shall too and viseversa. I don't deserve to be treated like anything else but a lady.I love him but that doesn't make it's okay for him to use that as an excuse to not do right by me. No sweetie, that is a common behavior of an abused woman. Statistics show that abused women return to their abusers at least 11 times before leaving for good. Some women get so use to being treated poorly that they dont know what good looks like or even how to receive it.

You are often justifying the abuse because you want to believe that the person you love, loves you and to many abused women (esp if they grew up seeing their mother abused) feel that when a man hits them it is love. She begins to hate herself and the abuse begins to fuel a human need. Feel sorry for her. No body EVER deserves to be abused or beat...period!

You are so correct and I just love this. I often times have said that men don't do better because so many times some of the women are enabling them just to have a temporary man. Being a pop star gives you money but if they have an illness they will go through the same symptons as everyone else. Rhianna situation has nothing to do with the fact that she's a black woman but everything to do with the battle woman sydrome wheather black or white. They were talking about this on the news and showed white women talking where they had returned to their abusers even though they had beaten them many times. They even showed Nicole(OJ Simpson) ex where she was beaten before by OJ before she was murdered. This has nothing to do with Rhianna being a bw.

Yeah shay however on the other side there are LOTS of us who have our standards RAISED and the Men are not stepping up! There ar TONS of us who dont give into every mans whims and we hold him accountable. Yet we cant meet decent men who are willing to be HELD ACCOUNTABLE! Most of them DONT want accountablity. Nope sweetie, its not the spontaneity that did it per se, it is the fact that we are attracted to you, respect you and want you that determines if we will be turned off. 5 calls in the same day is too much. One call a day and you keep it short most of those calls and move things alone to a date...that is the right way to approach it:)
