bellissima! i 4 cilindri 2 tempi hanno un suono da orgasmo! uno vicino al mio paese ha una yamaha RD500 con lo scarico jolly motor, lo si sente arrivare e fà venire la pelle d'oca, bella moto
I sold my GSXR600 after nearly losing my license on the thing ... I suspect an RG'd be even worse in that respect but I _love_ strokers (currently riding a derestricted '07 Mito, had a GP125, GT200, TZR250, NSR150 in the past).
When you say they're expensive to run ... just _how_ expensive?
Hi all my name is Paul and I have wanted a gamma for years. I remember when they first came out and at the time I could't afford one now I am 43 still cant afford one but if anyone knows the average price these days I would love to know
G'day mate, Thanks for the reply I guess 3000 pounds is about $7.500 aus. I still have to figure out the Ebay thing but I'll have a go. Again thanks Paolo
Paul, this is indeed a great bike, I had both that RG and an RD 500(Yamaha). The RG was lighter and pulled harder. But the Yamaha had a better riding position and apparently one can easily strip that excessive weight it had over the RG. On my RD I had the rear cog wheel 3 dents up, that made it come close to the RG in acceleration. I´d take whatever comes your way in a bargain.

get the proper pipes on it. 3 on one side and 1 on the other looks terrible.

Hi Paul, sometimes I found on Ebay Australia an RG500 on sale... the average price for a RG in original condition, in England, is about 3000 pounds..
cheers!
Paolo.
