I saw photos of California Indian women [from the grapevine pass area] standing next to giant pestles taller than them.The way they were used was the pestles were suspended from flexible tree branches with cordage and balanced so well that a small amount of downward force would make the giant pestle bob up and down. That way the large mass of the pestles could be used to full effect crushing foodstuffs with a minimum of effort.

Not sure what to think but that is curious considering that the Sphinx dates back to the time based on the water erosion patterns seen on the back side of the sphinx. Gaza was wet about 10,000 years ago. Take a look at the sphinx and look at the erosion pattern and decide yourself. Vikings seem very plausible but I don't know enough about the subject. Ask Gene
@TheMass33 Vikings aren't 8-12 feet tall as was the size of these giants based on their skeletons. Unless they were a family of really tall people which I suppose is possible. But there have been many human remains found throughout North America that match that description of 8 to 12 foot tall humans with red hair.
@TheMass33 I'm not sure how much you know about the area they are talking about, but I live about 90 miles from it. The geologic history of this place was that 10,000 years ago the state of Nevada was covered in pine trees. Heavily wooded infact. So it would have been very easy for them to live here.

Digging through history of Nevada Indians, turns out it wasn't a myth, they've found bones, smallest measuring 6.5ft. tall, female, and a male measuring nearly 9ft. tall,mummified by dry conditions preserving their red hair. In response to the fellow above 4jaimeavalos, these bones date back nearly 9000 years before vikings were present, which leads to more questions than answers, quite interesting.
