I would like to get five G5s to shoot at the same time too, however I've only tried it with two so far. You might have to fine-tune the position of the cameras so that the infra red beam from the remote hits the sensors of each of the cameras equally well. I've also found that the remote acts a bit flaky as the power from the button battery drops, which is why I built this power adapter connecting the remote to two D batteries. Good luck!
