  • Hmmmm maybe i can try it

  • That is nit even close to being anywhere near worth it.

  • this is way more complicated than it needs to be. there's a feature built in to psp's to use a ps3 controller wirelessly. at least there is on the psp go, but i don't know why it would be exclusive to that model. just go to the settings category and go to bluetooth devices. it should tell you how to do it from there.

  • tutorial link is dead. Got another one?

  • ok mite be a stupid question but can you use a ps3 controller on a psp 1000 ?

  • man fuck you how do you do it how do you use the ps3 controller on a psp

  • hey faget your you tube video links are not working. fuck u.

  • Now connect the PSP to your TV lol XD

if you need money for the PSN you can get free codes here:

    w w w(dot)psncodegenerator(dot)com/?i=975275

  • fake 100000%

  • this is not real cause your fingers moving way not matching the game postion . lol

  • seriously waaaaay too much work if you want to have a more ergonomic controller or dual analogue support.

  • This is pretty sweet. I will have to try this. However, I think I will wait until you are able to make a proper tutorial.

  • Beast Ass Sick Wish I Had Tha :[ Could U Tell Me How ? Plz :[ Cool Btw

  • can i use a usb controller in it instead of ps3 controller?

  • @TheTekkenmania I'm guessing you can, as you can map any controller to the keys. Give it a shot, and if it works, let us know.

  • hey dude can you use your computer a the psp screen so you can play your psp games on your computer

  • does this work on psp 1000

  • is there anyway to map the analog stick? i cant seem to do it

  • i wanna map the analog stick to the analog stick on the psp but i dont know how

  • doesn't irshell come loaded with external controller ability?

  • BULL SHIT!!!

  • whats the latest version of IR shell that supports the phat 1000 psp

  • 4.9

  • Yo jpeg, i have the usb host working. I used joy2key, but its confusing. How do i know what is what? lol.

  • What do you mean by what is what? What keys you need to map? look in the settings for RemoteJoy under control or key settings or something like that for what keys you will need to map your PS3 controller to using Joy2key.

  • I am not using remotejoy. Just Joy2Key. I am going to be outputting the video to my TV, not my PC.

I have all the default keys identified, except L1 using Joy2Key + USBhostFS v1.8. I am missing the key because iam using a notebook. (not a full keyboard).

  • what cable you use to conect the ps3 controller to the psp

  • he connected both the ps3 controoller and psp to the same pc i think..

  • took me a while to get ir shell and the right version from piratebay

  • that was to lorddon21

  • hmmm....

  • I got this to work with remote joy without irshell & Joytokey I don't have any youtube videos but i can give anyone the links on how to do it

  • how , can yu tell how u did it plz

  • song?

  • description?

  • he already said in the description you dumass !!!!!

    "Dumass" said GegamaDragonball

  • hahahaahh lol xD ok DUMBASS xD

  • we r 2 dumbass xD

me becose i spelt dumbass wrong

and you becose you didnt read what he said xD

  • LOL XD

  • every 1 dont stall dis on psp 3000

because ur psp gonna be bricked like mine

  • no no no, it's only because your psp 3000's motherboard wasen't compatible with this program... only certain 3000's work with this so it's not going to work for everyone

  • exacly ^^

  • Is there any way to use PC's keyboard with PSP?

  • y would u do that

  • DOPE

  • why not make a tutorial

  • cuz he's a worthless asshole

  • LOL !! xD

  • yes i know why not ?? he delete the tutorial :(

  • u cnt fukin use the ps3 controller

  • hm. thats sure not what it looks like.

  • "cant use" or "not supposed to be able to use" you can re-program/hack/mod just about anything electronic.

  • Would I be able to map the D-Pad to the right analog stick? It would make games like Monster Hunter a lot easier with better camera control.

  • Dude, I was thinking the same exact thing lol. It'll definetely help on MHFU

  • it is made to be the inverse i guess, using the psp like a ps3 controller.

    right?

  • i need help with this i got remotejoy lite ir-shell 5.0 my firmware is 5.00m33-6 and i already can use my ps3 controller on my pc now that is nice but ive tryed to figure this out but ive been working on other things

  • damn, the video tutorial doesn't work anymore. is there another place i can go for a tutorial? i just really wanna do this.

  • I 2nd this

  • sad face =( i had a psp somebody stole it duo

  • yay i have that game!!

  • can the ps3 controler be directly plugged to psp?

  • i really hate that game,,... cant even beat it...

  • That's WipEout Pure

  • Pretty awesome to me... no idea who the douche is that is arguing about electricity hahah.

I laughed so hard when I realized he was serious.

Who cares about electricity, you pay the bills, so use what you want.

    Pretty awesome hack!

  • Ok this is dumb wy are u people bitching about electricty for on this psp ps3 controller hack come on people if it works thats great if it dont try and find out i seen most of the mods and hacks for the psp and ive done most of them theres the ps1-ps2 controller mod and a x-box 360 wireless controller mod x-box typing key board mod and a snes controller mod and a mod to use any or almost and infrared key board so give this dude a break come on now

  • That wasn't needed was it.

I was just showing that it can be done.

Resistance Retribution did this to but using the PS3, which uses a lot more electricity than my little laptop does.

And since when did everything have to be about not using electricity? If you want to save electricity then do us all a favour and never turn on your computer again and save us from your needless comments and lack of input.

  • it was needed to help save the world.

if everyone used this method, the contribution PSP's would have in globabal warming would more then double as the PC uses way more power then a PSP.

and im doing more to save electricity then you and atleast im not encouraging others to waste it like you demonstrate in your video.

  • well ur wasting electricity by sitting here wasting peoples time by sitting here on your computer on youtube complaining about the electricity being used. so why dont you just go fuck the fuck off and maybe fuck off!

  • not really, im only here cus u post these shitty comments

  • nice use of grammar lol.

  • lol nice comment

  • your so brainwashed. Can't you see not everything is about saving electricity. Not using electricity does noting for the enviroment because the electricity companys don't store electricity, they pump it out as its made. therefor any electricity that isn't used is lost. The only thing not using it does is make your bill smaller.

  • I'm also not encouraging anyone to waste electricity. No electricity is going to waste here, it is all being used for a purpose. And the world is fine, stop buying into companys trying to play with your conscience to get you to buy their ultra expensive 'energy saving' products.

Please don't be arrogant and dismiss what i'm saying, please take it on board.

  • oh ok.....coldest winter.....hottest summer....sure global warming hasnt started.

and if you just use the PSP controls, thats saving you money and not wasting electricity at the same time.

and OLED screens will be cheaper and more efficient then LCD's.

u think im arrogant for these FACTS?

sure i use monitors with my PC and a tv with my PS3 but what the f**k is the point using a PC and monitor with a PSP?

you might as well play PC games which are better then PSP.

  • Your contributing to global warming by posting ignorant thoughts about something useless on youtube. Calm down. A psp with a ps3 controller isnt going to ruin the world you know.

  • well u promoting it could certainly contribute to the world ending.....

  • whatever. you going after this topic with such zeal is also contributing. Let's drop it for the sake of the planet

  • 1. I don't want to save money by not turning on my computer.

    2. No electricity is being wasted as i explained before and you have ignored.

    3. I don't have any OLED screens and if i did i would be using them.

    4. These facts of yours are irelevant to what im trying to show.

    5. What is your problem with me showing that a PS3's SixaxiS controller can be used on a PSP, regardless of whether i use a PC or not.

  • ur trying to show me how to use a PS3 controller with PSP which is completely useless as PSP wont make use of the extra analogue stick or the trigger buttons anyway.

so ur wasting electricity just to make ur feel like ur playing PS3....just play PS3 then.

my problem is that people like u make silly videos to encourage others to carry out pointless acts....such as using a PS3 controller on PSP....pointless.

  • 1. Not useless as it uses an analog stick that isn't a piece of shit like the PSP's.

    2. In response to your comment 'ur wasting electricity just to make ur feel like ur playing PS3....just play PS3 then', the PS3's power usage avrages at 193.6 watts, my TV's is 150 watts, that's 343.6 watts just to use my PS3, This is no where near the amount used to power my PSP and my laptop.

    3. What's the matter with someone doing this if they want to? Your the only person who has had a problem with it.

  • 1) PSP's analogue stick isnt shit, its because you dont want to get used to it.

    2) the entertainment to electricity ratio on PS3 is better then PSP with dualshock controller.

    3) if you think i shouldnt have a problem in what your doing then why should you have a problem with what im commenting about?

its ur video....you should know that u face some sort or criticism.

  • ps3 analog stick is so much better!

  • @jpeg1991 yeah this might be old but fire him up dude

  • @fpsd0minat0r If i could slap you i would!!!!!!!! This help people like me with a broken psp.

    1. I can input my screen on my computer.

    2. If i have a broken keypad or analog I can use this.

    3. I can run my damn games directly from my computer's hdd and not my memstick.

    Noob!!!!!!!!Burn!!!!!

  • @NocticScythe

why dont you get another psp then you cheap retard.

  • @fpsd0minat0r Well to tell you the truth I own every console had 6 phat psp(1 lost) 1 slim(broken). Why would I buy another psp when I can use my pc to stream the LCD. And I allready given sony alot of money.

  • @fpsd0minat0r lol i bet your one of those idiots who thinks that video games are destroying the world and we all need to help by using toyota technology to help better the world XD

  • where did you get the usb cable to connect the sony psp and the ps3 controller

  • Read the description please.

  • fucking shit men you programme have delete the driver of internet - moose and speaker :@ so its hard to delete a programe with juste a keybord try it at you own risk youtuber

  • In English please.

  • wat was the ir port on the psp for anyways???

  • Was soposed to be there for in game conectivity, but the wireless abilitys of the PSP were allways used instead because its faster and doesn't require alignment. I think only 1 game ever used it. I have only ever used it as a TV remote cotroll using IRShell. Sony removed the IR port on all the PSP models since the first PSP-1000 series.

  • yeah cause i never had to use it before so i never knew the purpose of it being there

  • Why don't you use the control it came with. Looks foolish being so close with a controller like that and the possibility of someone to walk and knock it over. Get the new psp with the tv connection and play with a decent hd tv.

  • What control do you mean?

Also, wilst doing this i had the psp's display on my laptops monitor as one of the programs i used for this is mainly used for outputting the psp's display to computer screens. this can then easily be hooked up to a modern TV using a VGA cable usualy used for computer monitors.

  • see the cable that goes into to controller do you need that cable with both ends

  • No its plugged into the Computer

  • wipeout pure great game

  • although not fake as its basicly described in the description. and the light is flashing because it is charging from the usb cable that is pluged into my laptop. If pluged in and not connected to a PS3 then the lights will flash. Look up a video of a sixaxis controller being used as a PC controller and you will se that they flash.

  • do you need the cable dat chargers the controller or how do you do it ple ase tell me i love you

  • you read the description

  • Oh now i understand how this concept works, using the USBHOST, awhh! If only they could directly connect a controller to the PSP's USB port with out need to modify the internals, Cool thou!

Should use remote joy with this as well :D

  • I have that cable but its shorter, white, and I would need a PS3 I want one!

  • If u ever get a ps3,get a 60gb.They play all the ps1,ps2,and ps3 games!!! I may actually be wrong about the ps1 games though.

  • in europe the only PS3 version to play PS2 games is the 60GB version witch was discontinued about a year ago. only 80GB and a 160GB PS3s are in production. All PS3s play PS1 games and you can also download PS1 games from the playstation store. these can also be transferd over to a PSP and played on there or played on a PSP remotely using Remote Play on the PS3.

  • And in the US, the very first 80 GB plays it too!

  • I ot the 80gb one but I found a download on how it can play PS2 games. Thanks for the tip anyways.

  • Wait for Resistance : Retribution if you can't be assed getting custom firmware.

  • will only work on resistance though, and you need to connect through your PS3.

  • Better than nothing. BTW, does this method work for every game?

  • Works for everything and anything the PSP does.

  • You can do this easier now.

Just get the latest RemoteJoy Lite, and connect it to your PC using the USB cable. No need for iR Shell.

Plus you'll get to see it on your PC's monitor.

  • The psps screen was also being displayed on my monitor at the time.

  • Would it be possible to use the R2 and L2 on PSX emulator with this? What about the second analog stick? Thanks!

  • nope, not without some sort of a plugin for he psp and an edited version of ir shell and an edited version of remote joy.

  • the lights are flashing the whole time.this is fake

  • download the windows sixaxis driver and try it out, the lights flash the whole time its plugged in.

  • No matter what you plug it into, the lights will ALWAYS BLINK, UNLESS it is being used on an OFFICIAL PS3 OS.

  • How you made that? i already have a sixaxis, a psp, and the drivers, but i dnt know how use it on PSP. can you help me?

  • they flash if you use the sixaxis on the pc...

  • when they are even just plugged into the usb it will flash.

  • man my psp is broke right after i bayed my ps3

  • bayed?

  • He probably meant played. Some people can be bad spellers on Youtube.

  • The Link to the tutorial is broken plz put the link up again

  • can you set it to use the right analog for xo^[]?

  • if the controller mapper supports it then yeah.

  • shit if you got this to work, sony may end up making remote play work with ps2 and ps3 games wow great job dude now send this idea to sony

  • i don't see how this is anything to do with ps2 and ps3 game playback over the ps3s remote play. this is just a way of playing psp games with a ps3s controller.

  • i was saying that if you can get the contoller to work on the psp while playing a psp game why not take the same idea and use remoteplay to add the fuction of playing ps2 and ps3 games n remoteplay. right now remoteplay doesnt support ps2 and ps3 games due to the lack of the a contoller, this works like a charm and could make it a possiblity

  • the lack of a right analog stick and 2 shoulder buttons isn't the only reason. theres a lot of issues with memory usage. its up to the developers if they want to sacrifice things for remote play. pixlejunk monster is playable over remote play, but its a simple game that doesn't use much of the ps3s capability's at all. they didn't have to sacrifice anything so it can be played over remote play. but games such as MGS4 use to much of the systems memory to have any left over for remote play.

  • lol if you watched my video you could find the answer to that, there is away already a way to use the Ps3 controller on remote play. but you just cant use the O button.

  • when u have the time can u make your own TUTORIAL

  • once i get another USB cable, set it all up again (takes ages), and have the time to make a whole tutorial i will.

  • ok thanks im look forword to then

  • how can u do it with a ps2 controller?

  • you can only do that with a ps2 controller if you have a USB adapter for it.

  • I have added a tutorial to the video description. read the tutorial before asking question.

  • will this work on the slim?

  • It should do, as far as i know.

  • itz okay

  • XD whats the point!? cool though

  • lol sick can u gimme a guide plz? PM me a web or ur guide thnx

  • read the video description and the other comments, and dont be afraid to use google.

  • plz i read it googled it everthing i dont no how to wat version are u? and gimme a guide plz

  • i tried the description and google. Didnt work can u gimme a guide and wat FW r u?

  • how do u do that

  • what you need is a homebrew psp, computer, and ps3 controller. you need to get the controller to run as a pc controller, all you need is a driver for that. it runs through usb.

  • then you need get your psp screen diverted to your computer. the program the does this can also be used to for using your keybored as a psp controller. then you need to set up the controls on the ps3 controller to match the keys used for the psp keyboard controls. then run screen diversion, plug in the conroller and go. look in the description for programs used.
