Nice car.. but is it the same suzuki swift 1300 sold all over teh world? Is the GTI Turobo charged something. .In india we have swift is very popular car, but is`t the turbo charged. Do let me know

@nandtalk Yes it's the 1300 16 valve, with standard 101 hp. No turbo.

So slow to increase speed at 180 I thought he would run out of fuel before he got to 200 :D But its a mighty effort from a little car.

The GTI had 4:11 diff gears too.. Perhaps these have been changed.

No these are original gears.. But this just inside germany (from holland) and the few miles is lightly hill up, you can see it because he goes faster from 200 to 210 :D

The gearbox gears are something else.. But can you explain to me the physics of how either could achieve a faster 200-210 other than a faulty speedomoter.

The faster a speedo reads, the less accurate it is. Especially in cars like this that are not intended to do this speed.

actually the top speed from the GTi is 200 kmh or 120 mi, from a stock 100 hp 1.3lt engine, if you look online you will find there was a special Suzuka edition (R13B) NA with 185 HP

fella tht is the slowest gti in the world. you should put some thing in tht gas tank try some 100% alcohol bout 12 oz with some moth ball or just find the metal dump

No, no turbo. just a 1.3L 16valve engine.

With Sebring exaust, lighter flywheel, and aluminium smaller pully. i live in Holland, so no sorry:P

my 2001 1.3 non gti swift dous 180 car and 176on my tomtom

wich is pretty fast for a 85hp car

i love it its so light (780kg) you can just trow it around

i got about 8/9 sec to 100kmph so not to bad

considering that 10sec to 100 is average is europe

my swift gti does 180 @ 7k in 5th gear

it would go a lot faster if it had 6 gears

So it seems that You have shorter gearbox from 1.0 Swift ;)

180km/h Swift GTi can do on 4th gear, on 5th @7500rpm there are abour 220km/h ;)

Checked that on dyno ;)
