Congratulations, Ohio Legislature, on your 10th Amendment Resolution victory today!
(This was a non-enforceable resolution, NOT a statute; and in any case, no State legislature can tell the U.S. Congress what to do, so it's purely political theatre; Ohio will keep taking federal money, thank you...) But still: congratulations on doing SOMEthing, Ohio!
Ohio Senate Affirms State Sovereignty, Woot, We are being joined by patriots on all sides. Taking up separate battles all over the place. This is an encouragement to Us on this front, we got em in a corner D, Onward we go! America United again, what a concept!!
'Ewierdness': Your logic turns on itself, sir/madam. Do you see the enemies of our Constitution all out in mobs? Is that how THEY got things done, all this time? No, indeed. Mob rule will never gain you anything; We The People outnumber them, and if we're tactically wise, we can use the LAW to split them up, bring them home, sit them down in their STATE courts, and catch those 535 big fish...or at least such among them as refuse to stop violating the Supreme Law.
That's fine dmzuniga, I commend you on the effort, I look forward to seeing a more detailed plan on how we're gonna pull it off. The Idea is good, though it will require the cooperation of DAs and Grand Juries. As well as our Sheriffs. I think we should be encouraging our protesters however, and at the same time building this engine. While I don't believe that protests alone will have the desired affect, I do believe they convey our numbers.
I agree; marches show us that we're not alone in our disgust at the Leviathan state. DAs don't have to "cooperate" as much as Grand Jury has to do. But your grand jury is made of folks just like you and me. I trust regular folks a great deal more than politicians at this point.
Okay, so that's a different fight, for some one else to take up, I'm good... I also support the Oath keepers, they are fighting a different battle, same war.
I'm gonna go with Indictments??? Did I get it right did I? I want to see the sheriff or State Police arrest a Fed, ATF, IRS, I don't care, I just want to see it.
Once again, organizations are leading American's to believe that they can take back our country, while sitting on their fat A _ _ at a computer screen. It cannot and will not be done this way folks! If we are unwilling to turn out to march, to demonstrate, to write, phone, fax and e-mail our legislators, what can we accomplish by doing any less?
I attended the "Tea Party March" in Reno NV, as well as Winnemucca, Elko, and DC, I would not call for a stop to this process myself. I have emailed my Congressman and Senators repeatedly, and received form letter responses if any at all. Harry Reid has yet to respond to any of my dozens of emails, nor have any of them returned my calls. I have written to every news paper in the State of NV, asking them to promote or at least mention any of several pieces of legislation. With no result.
I have no idea how AA intends to bring the Grand Juries, DAs and Sheriffs in, but I am looking forward to finding out. We need total participation in the 10th Amendment movement, and to re-educate our Grand Juries, DAs, and Sheriffs. This is a Tall Order
Nobody said taking back our power was going to be easy or quick. I always end every e-mail, fax, or letter with a request that the legislators respond to some question or request. I follow up after a few weeks, referencing my earlier communication. Writing a hard copy letter is always preferable to an e-mail. Staff members filter and dump e-mails and politicians seldom see the messages.
Fine, but which will be more effective: marching outside your State Courthouse with a picket sign...or packing the courtroom INSIDE, to see your criminal, criminally negligent member of Congress tried on 8-10 criminal counts?

The only people We The People would have our State courts indicting are members of Congress, not executive branch employees.

I don't see anything wrong with this except for the fact that I expect the people to be marching - more often with MORE people joining in.
