same here, I agree that labeling music isn't a good idea, but we do have to give people maybe a more general idea what a song sounds like...at least you didn't label it as "country rock" or "death metal" which would've been far fetched! I salute your effort as one FL-Looper to another.;)

This is not techno or electronica....it is quite obvious, its bassline/dub/ downtempo, depends on what the composer was feeling when he or she wrote it. well done mate and keep it up. I like giving comments to great ideas and talents, you find many remixes on youtube, something original is much more appreciated by those who love music as it should be. here's a link to a chillout song I have made myself in FL Studio 9. Right about the thumbs down, but you're judging the song in the wrong way.

You didn't like it because of personal opinion, basing how good a song is on opinion alone will obviously create a biased decision, an Ignorant decision.. The song was made very well for it's genre.

no i just wasnt very specific. the singing sucks and doesnt add to the song. The song doesnt really have a tune 2 it. its more just like a beat with random notes strung over it. and all the xylophone things arej ust high pitched and annoying. its not just my opinion, its just how it sounds.

The only reason I put techno in the title is because the vast majority of people know all kinds of electronic music as techno. I know this is not techno. I'm hesitant to call it electronica too because electronica encompasses a wide variety of genres. I really don't like trying to classify my music (or any music for that matter) but I guess I'll change the title to what genre I think this.

Electronica/ techno is what's in the title. Electronica has a few traits that rap has. And I really couldn't imagine rap vocals with this anyways. Techno is just an overall genre to classify genres like house, trance, electro, dance, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong....
