i was there and it was awesome i was really close and my hearing never went away so I agree it could have been louder. and i asked a bunch of people to take me and on the 8th try i finally got a yes!
*Contenued* Almost no kick drum ~ and the vocals often to quiet. When bill speaks between songs there is no reason why the system cant be loud enough for his voice to be heard loud and clear above the screaming fans. Every once in a while I could not hear him sing at all. Great Show, Great Band, Great Set, Great Lighting, Great Mix, Nice Venue ~ just wish it would have been 3 to 4 times louder. There was plenty of system there I see no reason why it couldn't be.
I agree; it was more like going to see "1200 Screaming Girls featuring Tokio Hotel" rather than "Tokio Hotel". Lighting crew was amazing, but the sound crew? Not so much. There's no reason the audience should ever be louder than the artist.
sorry for jumping into the conversation, but I agree with both of you completely. I went through hell and back to get there and see them, and I could barely hear or even see. I went to hear Bill sing, not a bunch of other girls crying and whining about how much they just LOVE him...it got so old so fast. And with the way they were pushing, I almost couldn't see a thing during the first few songs! Where were the security guards then?
I was there with My Daughter. The band was great. the mix was pretty darn close to exactly right. Only thing I did not like was the volume. How Sad was that? Don't know if it was TH sound man, Record Lable sound man, or HOB house sound man but with 20 EV line array speakers the sound should have been peeling our faces off "HYPOTHETICALLY" and it was actually quite tame ( Volume Wise ) *Contenued on next post*
