@elmostro561 If just increasing cylinder pressure using a turbo and using the same amount of gas, you are getting more power to the crank just by increasing air pressure. The higher the cylinder pressure, the more "bang" you get from the combustion of gasoline. This explosion is what propels the vehicle forward.

You only put the engine in a lean condition in which the temperature will quickly reach piston melting temperatures in no time.

the internal combustion engine stands at only 18-20% efficiency where the other 80ish is lost to heat and friction. turbos are not fuel efficient

Should' ve gone back to the 97 GTX. I had one and it flew! It went 62 with 2 and 65 with one. There is a HUGE difference from the GTI or GTS to the GTX. I tried the GTS and GTI before I got the GTX and there was no comparison. Sell the GTI and get the GTX or XP...

All you have to do is look at his other videos that have shots of the engine to know that, or even easier, just look at the titles of his videos that say "TURBO" to realize it is turbo'd.
