Thank you!! Im a newbie and I start my journey for IT management in April. I'm trying to get a crash course in everything (Algorithms, Data Base, etc.) any suggestions on how I should go about preparaing? I have an idea about the big O and Omega and theta so I'm learning and look forward to solving formulas!!!
hi there, thanks for your example. i av a problem that i wnt u to help me with.. it is to develop an algorithm or write a pseudocode that will accept the following data for all the schools in the competition within your zone:
a) school ID
b) name of school
c) parish
d) principal's name
e) number of teams in the comp. i)acceptable codes 1)M=Male 2)F=Female 3)MF/FM=Female and male
digipipeline can you help me some home work problem solving programming about. supermarket sel-checkout system
you are required to design algorithm for a supermarket self-checkout system. to do this, you will use the constructs and techniques taught in sessions
@TestYourKnowledge The homework assignment as you posted says, "use the constructs and techniques taught in sessions", so ... since I'm not in your class I don't know what your Prof has taught. Perhaps you could check with him/her?
@TestYourKnowledge Probably it would be best for you to check with your Professor. I"m sure he/she would be happy to help you. I do not have my e-mail attached to this account.
Please Help me. Im learning Pseudocode very slowly.. Im in CMIS102 class. I have a Project due that wants me to Calculate the Total Square Foot of a 4 room house. I have the basics down, but don't know how to sort it out on paper. Please Help me..
simple and straight forward video. every time I write pseudo code and compare it to examples mine is not "program like" enough. I see pseudo code and its like they wrote a program on paper to the point that they only need to change the paper slightly to implement the program. I am glad to see that I was not that far off.
@jbach1203 The MOD 2 is the expression that's determining if the number is odd or even. If number MOD 2 returns 1, then number was odd. If it returns 0, then the number was even.
PS did I tell u that I'm 51? What am I getting myself into? LOL

@jbach1203: Not for the problem I was solving.
MOD is the remainder to an integer division problem. The operator for mod is % in C, C++, Java , etc...

great video, I am wondering though if you would need to repeat the code for the numbers? Also I am unure what mod 2 means.

@jbach1203 The MOD 2 is the expression that's determining if the number is odd or even. If number MOD 2 returns 1, then number was odd. If it returns 0, then the number was even.
