Bollocks, the only reason the Ducati wasn't fastest was because the test rider didn't know how to ride it properly. Hence the comment "very awkward to ride".
Funny how in a recent review (2011) of the current superbikes the R1 came last even when compared to the Blade and GSXR1000, both unchanged since 2008/9. Anyone for a back-hander.

The real proof is when you give a 4 year old bike to carlos checka who manages to win a championship. Sure its adjusted and set up but the bike is very capable.The new 1199 is something to fear. ducati know big engines and twins best. In time they should master four cylinder in moto gp.
Accurate test should be made with same pilot. Dispite they are all ''pros'' there is always one better than the other, or else motogp would only have 1st places

@Topthai23 Still more power don't make it worse. You cant say a bike is bad when you have never ridden it on a track and you cant say it cant compete because I'm pretty sure you have not had a go on most of those bikes round a track and swaped bikes the same day to see which is better.
@exotic444 In 2010 Pattaya Thailand track i ridden it for 12 laps. I am very lucky because my buddy owned one. Also 2 more people test it and we all think the seem thing Japanese bike are better .
@multimediaarts Most sport bikes have pretty high seat heights, so you're not going to be able to flat foot any of them. 600cc bikes are obviously easier to manage than literbikes but sit on a few and make your own choice. Don't worry too much about being short, there are motogp racers shorter than you.
To be realistic and practical, Honda CBR1000rr Fireblade is the best among all of the new superbikes. Its lighter and easy to handle just like the 600`s, but with the superb power of liter bike. But still, you have to try them out and find which one is suitable for you.
I think the driver is quite essential when doing these kinds of tests. You should use a single driver with equal experience of all models and brands. Also, if this test was made now in 2011 the bmw s1000rr would probably cut the edge, despite the advancement of the zx-10R. Would be interesting to include more exotic bikes as well such as the Aprilia RSV 4 Factory APRC SE -11. Like the video though.

all I own is little Yamaha R15, Its puny compared to these bikes but god damn its asweet bike. Its like a little R1. I've done a few mods to it and it cracks a 100mph,pretty impressive for 150 CC's I think. And the handling is just spot on.

These guys are real track racers and the r1 cross plane crankshaft was built for the track.. and there not dyno queens.. Mid range hp the r1 is blowing them out of the water.. thats why is comes out of the corners so well..GO Yamaha

I really don't get it. These guys are the only ones that say the R1 is the best litre bike compared to the others. It has the least amount of horsepower and it doesnt even handle as good as the fireblade.
@mg16 Agreed. Fireblade is winning a lot of events. Although it takes really well to tuning afaik, so maybe they're just talking stock, which may leave it behind. Still thought the r1 woulda been back of that list for tracks in 2009. Methinks kawasaki shoulda been #1.
I've installed a Fleshlight in my bike's tank and I fuck it almost everynight when I enter my garage... sometimes I fuck her even when I'm riding in a curvy road, I don't have a girlfriend and bikes are expensive to maintain, so at least I fuck it!!! :)

I've installed a Fleshlight in my bike's tank and I fuck it almost everynight when I enter my garage... sometimes I fuck her even when I'm riding in a curvy road, I don't have a girlfriend and bikes are expensive to maintain, so at least I fuck it!!! :)
