I'm editing it right now. And Peter's editing our movie review of "W." though his internet is out. We're trying to decide whether to post the episode or the review first.
The episode's about "Performance over Continuity".
The background in the beginning of this video is not blown like the last one, its more clear. What did u do differently? Actually at 0:16- 0:18 its not blown out but at 1:44 its completely blown. Why?
In the shot at the beginning, we were under a partial shade, so there was more light on us, thus we could stop down the iris more. In the shot at 1:44 we're in complete shade so we had to open the iris a lot.
Maybe that would make a good episode - How NOT to Blow Out the Sky.
wow. that episode was AMAZING. My favorite you guys have made so far. I love how you both explained the 180 degree rule and establishing shot, AND showed examples of them. Really helped me to understand it better and it kept me interested the whole way through. GREAT JOB!! (I can't believe that Sean actually "hit" Peter. Looked dangerous! haha.)
thanks for great info :)
i just started making videos myself.
and ive learnt alot from watching your vids,

hey can you explain how you cutted to a more close-up shot at 0:21 and yet it the guys seems like nothing has happened??
40laceration 2 years ago
Cut on motion only if you want to cause disorientation. You can also cross with a moving camera without cutting and this wont disorient the audience!

I actually love you guys. Your videos are awesome :-) I loved the intro to this one...
"Now that we've got rid of all of the impatient internet folk.." LOL. I love your style, nice and relaxed compared to many!
Interestingly, our lecturer told us about the 180 line this morning! Now this illustrates it perfectly :-)
Thanks!
