This is great except where can you get the nero wave editor. Trying to find it on google yields all kinds of links, none of which get you the software. Can you point me to a link that actually downloads the real nero wave editor, and not some pretender? Thanks
Thx! After a couple hours of messing around with other methods this finally worked. 300k is large enough for 20-30 seconds at 80 kbps (thank you audacity + LAME). 30 sec is long enough to answer phone and with cell phone speaker 80 kbps is good enough quality.
hey umm i've been trying to do it but no luck ; ( i dont know how to do the nero wave editor can you please help me??? would i have to do it through the computer or my phone???
Solution:If you are having problems, and are not finding the "Set As" option
1. Go to mp3 player and play a random song other than "Beautiful Sky"
2. While in the "Now Playing" screen, select "Options" and than "Search"
3. Now in the search screen find "Beautiful Sky" and press the middle/ok/select button to play "Beautiful Sky." The button should show as a play triangle on the bottom of the screen in the middle. *** Important: Do not play by going to options and selecting play
4. Now there should be a playing symbol next to the song "Beautiful Sky" in the search menu
5. Finally, select the song you want as you ringtone in the same search menu by scrolling to it and pressing "Option" and "Set As" while the song is selected
Hope this helps, God Bless
P.S. If you've deleted "Beautiful Sky," try to reset your phone.
On all the other videos, they said I need to listen to a default song then press the search option. But my phone doesn't have a search option. Do I need that for this video? *Pleaseee replyyyy!*
This works on my AT&T LG Neon Go Phone! Used Audacity to convert a section of an MP3 to WAV. Next I used Nero to Convert that Wav to MP3 at 96KBPS! 24 Seconds at 291kb. You might want to shorten it to 20 seconds. No Blue tooth, No USB cable. Just use your (ex. Scandisk microSDHC card adapter). If your computer has an SDHC plug for memory card. THIS IS THE CHIT MAN! I put the file in right in with my music mp3's btw, you don't have to use Nero.
You can use any mp3 cutter and just use Bluetooth. DUH!
