  • Wich army is this, an who are they fighting?

  • @XProductions92

Mercenaries in the service of the short-lived republic of Katanga (south eastern Congo I think) fighting, in this case, against UN forces. They also fight against Simba guerillas. The author allowed for some historical inaccuracies in this case since the Simba Uprising wasn't simultaneous with the Katanga war.

  • @Wolfogre Thank you so much! Last time i met someone (i am from Belgium) who was in the army in 1962, and he told me that his training officer was a Belgian soldier who fought against the UN and the Simba's in 1961in Congo (Belgium & Katanga where allies). He also told me, that the guy was completly mad (probalbly because of the Congo Crisis). The guy (who is now 68 years old) told me also that he was asked to take part with operation "Red Dragon",a rescue mission bij the Belgian Army in 1964.
