  • I want to paint my laptop but i want to know what kind of paint i should use. Just normal spray paint? i want to get it to have a smooth kind of shiny finish like laptops you buy have. What kind of paint and prep would give me this result?

  • Man you have some cool tricks...thanks for sharing them, it helps alot. Do you have any tricks for biomechanical? That would be an interesting video.

  • God created true fire. That sawed off little arrogant prick at Killer Paint, Mike Lavallee says he did. I can't stand that fucking bastard. If you are considering having him do work for you, don't.

  • I like the effect Tony but being a person that does laptop service as part of my living I would have done the palmrest differently. The touchpad will come off the palmrest from underneath making for an easier taping job and no possible damage to the touchpad surface. Also when taping the display area where the bezel came off be very careful with a knife (or even when removing the tape) of the tiny wiring in there. A little tape on the LEDs is a good idea too. I love the end product though

  • Simple yet that was some cool ass effect...love your vids

  • I didn't see a grounding wire used on this laptop project. Wouldn't a static electric build up from spraying harm the mobo? I still like your airbrush videos since they do contain good techniques.

  • Neat idea, but you notice he did it to an ACER,.. the WORST computer company on the face of the planet

  • greet job!!

  • Very cool!

Curious, what´s that "carpet" you have on your table? Is that some kind of friction thingy?

  • @SolidMnd It's just shelf liner. You can get it at WalMart. Look in the kitchen section. People put it in their silverware drawers and stuff.

  • @AirbrushTricks

Take care and keep up the good work!

  • Looks good! I'd imagine it would start to peel near the touch pad eventually.

  • nice industrial look, I always thought you've done cool projects, but i kinda wish this video had better lighting. either way thanks for sharing and inspiring

  • Hopefully that stuff is more durable than krylon fusion paint, I painted a keyboard once with some and it turned out great until I actually rested my wrists on it for a couple hours gaming.... melted the freakin paint off :/

  • @UltraVert Keyboards, mice, joysticks and game controllers are heavy wearing items. The combination of moisture, minerals, oils and other stuff from perspiration plus the friction and impact is brutal. For this sort of application I would definitely use a top coat clear to protect the paint. Krylon Triple-Thick Crystal Clear Glaze has a good reputation as a "rattle can" clear.

  • Either your a dwarf.

Or that's a huge ass roll of tape.

  • @adamXatomic Well done my friend, well done....LOL

  • @AirbrushTricks lol. Nice vid bro. Great idea. keep 'em coming and Semper Fi.

  • @adamXatomic Its Application tape or transfer tape normally used for stickers nad works great for big areas to mak and its cheap.

  • @adamXatomic It's called transfer tape, used for doing vinyl graphics. Low tack and perfect for paint masking jobs. You can get all sorts of widths of it but the wider it is the harder it is to get off the roll without a dispenser (like one of those old butcher paper racks from the era when we had real butcher shops)

  • now that is cool

  • If I didn't cover my laptop in vintage pokemon stickers, I'd totally do this, hahaha.

  • first woot
