@Chucapeposa921 He certainly is. Currently he is guest starring on Brothers and Sisters. I just discovered that he also has a facebook site. Go to Richard Chamberlain Webbiography on FB.
He has a great singing voice! This is wonderful! He must have recorded this at MGM's famous Stage Four- that soundstage has the best acoustics of any studio! All the MGM stars sang on that soundstage, and loved it.
You have to love this one: has that "1960s quality" to it (you know, that damend thing you can;t put your finger on unless you know music). Seems a bit 'up tempo' doesn't it?
Heavens to Murgatroid! Had NO idea that handsome & talented Richard Chamberlain was a singer too! I assume this is from an album during his 1960's heydey as TV's "Dr Kildaire". That show was produced by MGM...who also owned the rights to this song (having featured it in the 1951 classic musical "Singin in the Rain"). So it's a perfect studio tie in. Not a bad voice at all! THANKS so much for sharing this delightful "blast from the past" with us! :)
RICHARD had a very decent singing voice - much, much better than other Actors who attempted to warble and really shouldn't have ~ good for him and he's a very gifted Actor and decent human being.
Auguri Richard. Buon compleanno!
