It doesnt have many function modes, like night portrait or beach, but I never use them any way.

It has good optical zoom, excellent video quality, the slow motion, a huge screen. The bad things are, it doesnt allow to change the zoom when recording and the image quality is standard

@jollymakeup04 I think if you click on Func.Set button there is a spot on there when your on the manual mode to change the size of the picture, scroll down to the symbol that looks like stairs and that should be it. if you need more help ask away =]

@godog26 when looking at the pictures, press the menu button, delete, then select the oens you want to delete, to see more pictures at a time, zoom out when your looking at the photos

You get your User Guide, open it up, turn to the Index at the back, look up...Fish-Eye Effect (Shooting Mode)...which you will find under the letter...F, which then directs you to the appropriate page and shows you how to shoot your images using the Fish-Eye Effect Shooting mode.

Hello I just got this cam today in pink. Now the only problem I have is when I record and show something up close to read you can see it.. its Blury can u help me to make it focus when I'm showing something up close like words. It will auto focus on the pictures but not to record

@35divadiva The camera i believe doesnt focus while in video recording, you would have to stop recording and then start recording again, wait until it focuses then record for words.

@35divadiva You need to select the macro option, focus up close and then record. It doesn't have an auto focus while you are recording unfortunately.

@molka93 is it worth it? i would say ehh. You see i bought the camera thinking of the recording feature (1080p HD) and it is amazing, the thing is i try to edit it on my computer and it takes alot of space. It is also not easy to put it on ipad or anything cause it could get really big is GB size. The Battery life. so far i can say i have carried it around for a whole day using and at the end of the day still had battery. Pics quality i can say u can totally find more megapixel cam for less $

@molka93 Hmm worth it, i say you can find better. I got this for recording videos its 1080p HD vid so i would say if you want pic quality there are better, as for battery i say you can charge it once and it will last through out the day

how do you change the color on the "color accent" effect .

when i go on the effect it automatically keys out all color except for yellow but i don't want it to be yellow i want it to keep blue and make the rest black and white .

@xxemmySDxx ok so once u are in program mode, press menu and change it to color affent mode. the default is yellow but u can change it by pressing menu and holding menu on the camera, then to change what color you want to accent point at the color you want and press the left button (flower) and then u will see it blink, just press it again to set the color, u can also change how accented it is by pressing up or down when selecting a color. IF you would like me to make a vid i would be glad to.

As i said hd movie rec / zoom doesn't matters for me.My main concern is Clarity of the photo and the ability to shoot in low light especially in low light closed rooms.Adding to this many said that Mega pixel doesn't matters ? what matters is the lens . with these in mind Canon elp 100 hs or sony h70 ? Also if have to buy h70 i have to get through black market without warranty(Budget).

@jkjjkj08 Oh ok i see, so if u want to shoot in low light the h70 does have the option of shutter, hmm. well the H70 sounds like a good idea to me, the canon doesnt have a really good lens, the lens on the Sony H70 would be a better choice

@jkjjkj08 Ok so if you are looking at a good camera for photos i would suggest the Sony H70, it has good zoom (sony: 10x zoom; Canon: 4x zoom) for photos and the picture quality is 16.1 megapixels for The Canon powershot it has 12.1 megapixels, its ok. If you are looking for a camera for video quality the canon shoots at 1080p HD video while the Sony H70 shoots at 720p at HD or standard (640x480). if u got other questions ill be glad to answer.
