Oh...I thought you had to first hit DD with the Chaos Breaker before he could be damaged by anyone else. I must be thinking of a different game.

@NFSlugger13 In Shining Force CD the final boss has to be hit by the Sword of Hajya before anyone else can hurt him, that's in both the first and second books actually

Well DD was really easy because you power leveled everyone to ridiculous levels.

I'm with Lowe on this one; why couldn't Nova do it? I mean, for the entire game he just sits back and watches your team do all the work, giving crappy advice if asked, and in the end, when he knows something must be done, he tells Max to drive the chaos breaker into the dragon instead of doing it himself.

Khris would be better than Gong, but I do respect trying a different team to mix things up a bit. Otherwise the game is a bit too easy. =D

Also, yeah, Max did get out, you just skipped the ending cinematic. You see him in Shining Force: Final Conflict and he's mentioned in Shining Force 2. You get to control him as a unit in Final Conflict which is just awesome.

He's extremely easy because you've powerleveled the living shit out of your characters. He's not pathetic if you play the game normally. I haven't watched your other videos in this play through, but there's no way you didn't re-do the battles before this hundreds of times for experience.

Powerleveling is fine, but don't call the boss pathetic if you're fighting him with a team of characters 10+ levels higher than they would be in a normal play through.

@RetroGameKid Powerleveing? XD Last time I played this most of my characters were levels 26-30, With Tao at level 34, I powerlevel the hell out of her. Dark dragon Didn't stand a chance XD.

@RetroGameKid i know your comment is old but i was thinking the exact same thing, this game isnt too difficult to begin with, but then switching on easy mode in the form of powerlevelling is something else entirely lol

Should of let Max do the finishing blow cause he does a special attack animation to finish the boss.

@XxKyKiske2007xX Yeah he kinda immitates Musashis attack. It's awesome. Dark Dragon was really pathetic, even attacking Tao or Anri he only did like 10 damage for me, then again they were both level 39 and Max always took 1 damage from him, but he was level 34.

Lawl. but yea when you powerlevel final bosses tend to be easy I mean my guys power leveled to twice yours, it's just funny, I'm not criticizing. haha you should Try beating Dark Dragon on RotDD.. I dont know if anyone else has brought it up, personally I think he looks more epic in the remake (Dark Dragon). Pretty good and thanks for the LP :P

You gotta get the final hit with Max. That's the only proper way to do it.

And really, any final boss is easy when you're 10 levels too high for it and it doesn't get to do anything. :) But yeah, Dark Dragon is pretty easy.

i like how max's sword just cuts up and down on dark dragons body when the castle is shaking

and you should really do shining force CD for next LP or at least if you've already made up your mind to do Feda then you should do it after and it caries over some storyline from SF1
