  • my dad did his drivers license with a brand new golf 1 diesel with 54 hp. :D

it was the first autobahn ride for the car. the teacher said: "c'mon accelerate". my dad already drove 163 kph and said: "i'm already flooring it!". the tacher asked: "doesn't the car go faster?" - "no". at least the teacher said: "shit car!" :D

  • Overtaken by a Driving School...

Wow, that actually really rarely happens :D

  • when I had my double autobahn-driving lesson it started to rain when I entered the autobahn yet my driving teacher literally told me to keep accelerating and overtaking till we hit like 190kmh (around 120mph) which was one hell of an experience as I had my first "aquaplaning" (loss of contact to the road due to too much water stuck on the tires) there at that kind of speed. it´s one of the few things I like about germany. you learn how to handle serious speeds under serious conditions

  • I had an BMW 320d in my driving school und my teacher had no problem when I was driving 220km/h and more. In fact the top speed was 235km/h.

So, this is germany, like we love!! :)

  • @Seyman01 Everybody drives that way, only Germany had the guts to legalize it. When I got on the highway in Poland -- speed limit 140 -- I drove that speed for about an hour. Then I realized that the speed limit was a decoration, nobody enforces it, everybody drives 180, because the conditions allow it.

So thumbs up to the Krauts, for they did it, while others pretend to do it.

  • @LMB222

Yes, the poland speed limit is fake. I love driving in Poland. Im from Germany.

  • vw golf 5 was my driving school car..

180 km/h on the autobahn was normal :D

  • i hd an audi a3 in driving school (germany) and i were driving at almost 180 km/h on the "autobahn" and the point is ... my teacher was planning on let me drive faster but the car was new so he didnt want me to push the rpm to high ~.~

my english isnt the best sry for fails ^^

  • your are funny people :D owned by a beginner :D

  • German driving school = best in the world. period.

  • Ich mag Franzosen^^ J'aime francaise^^I like french people^^

  • Wow this makes me wish my interstates in tn were no limit I mean come on America let's make some no speed limit roads

  • @Dodaderf Hey im coming in the us next year i bring a part german "autobahn" to the usa so we have a start

  • lol in my driving-lesson on the autobahn i drive 220km/h

    its 136mph

  • How good does the grammar?

  • @zakquack

My Drive is OK ;) And my french grammar is perfect :)

  • @alonemusic well if you'd like to improve your english grammar, i will help you. Your video's title would be coherent if written as, "How fast does the student driver go?" Or, perhaps, "The driving school goes fast!" There are many ways to convey the idea, but, "How fast goes the driving school ?" is not one of them.

  • @zakquack The letter I, when referring to ones self should be capitalised. I think he may want to skip your lessons.

  • @Djdaniel1234 usually when people are smartasses they don't target a single typo and latch on like that... pretty pathetic. get bent, loser.

  • thats normal here... :D

  • I drove 215 km / h in driving school :D

  • well my first driving lesson, was like this,

i was really hesitant at first but my instructor kept on saying:" faster, faster", so i accelerated to 200kph, honestly i was scared and after a while a looked to my right and noticed that my instructor fell asleep...... hmm, i guess i was still too slow...

  • wtf? what cars were you driving in driving school? I ahd a fucking A3 1.9 TDi that didn't go over 200. Good luck I bought my SLK soon after driving school :)

  • If you want to drive fast, you have to learn it...

  • as i got my driving lesson on the autobahn, i asked if i could speed up as much as possible. my teacher was a chilled dude; looked at me and said "mach wie du meinst (do as u like)" - and i did. i shifted at aound 100kph from fifth gear down to third and torment the engine mercilessly. i realized that my driving teacher looked quite a bit scared at me, but he didnt say a thing - and so did i :D it was a hell of a fun :D btw: i payed around 1200 euro for my licence.

  • @DerCyruS

  • I remember my driving lessons on the Autobahn.. (you have to do it for the license). My instructor told me to speed up as fast I can do and i did (cant remeber but might have been just 220-230 km/h (120-130 mph)..

The lesson was to get a feeling for speed.. especially when your in a town with speed limits again (30mph). Your sense for speed tricks you hard.. slowing down from 130 to 30 mph.. you have the feeling a bicycle could overtake you :)

    Most common reason for accidents!

  • @TheFancyCars that wouldn't be so fun ^^ for your driving license you have to pay at least 200 euro. That's almost 3000 dollars

  • you have to lern fast driving in germany ;)

  • meine fahrschüler fahren alle mal 200+... rekord bis jetzt 252 km/h lt. tacho (BMW 123d)... von nem mädel ;)

  • well, I had a Golf GTI as a driving school vehicle. You can't really drive slow in that one.

  • ma first lesson i drove 190.

  • *made

  • When i got a moddified Supercharged Toyota Supra before 14 years i was happy when i drive on the german autibahn 275 km/h. And what happened ??? A Light in my mirrors. And i saw a Porsche. So i get my lessons ;) My car was fast, but there are much more faster cars every few minutes behind you :) Drive fast, but drive safe.

  • @Acidpapst and that is why you shouldn't have killed your supra by blowing it, huuuuge turbo, 800+hp and that porsche would have been dust ;)

  • @flinchey Yep. I learned my lesson. Thats why i now got a Charger RT ;)

  • i love how everybody still thinks that there are no speed limits on either all or on the majority of the highways in germany. news flash, thats not correct.

  • this is Normal in Germany i also drive 200 kmh with my drivingschoolcar

    Audi A3

    he cant get faster ;)

  • this shows how good we become trained before we are allowed to drive on the autobahn

  • @deventergast not in the first lesson, but later on, yes

  • I had my driving lessons in a VW Cross Touran Diesel, spent 4 hours on the autobahn with my teacher, reached 220km/h.

  • @SirBlacky does ur instructeur allow u to drive 200kph+? without experience xD

  • <- first autobahn driving lesson: 180Km/h only cuz the car couldnt go faster + around berlin near rushhour time....

  • That is German standart........Also ich bin mit dem Fahrlehrer 220 gefahren auf der autobahn.

  • there is one thing what the all those V8 shitty Americans need to fucking LEARN, ALL cars I am talking about all cars sold in Germany were built for HIGH SPEED !! Meaning even a fucking 2.0L 4-cylinder VW Passat goes easily 200kph or even more.

  • @Rev0lution88 Hey,

a "funkin" 2L TSI (turbocharged) VW Passat has actually about 200bhp and runs officially 245kph (152mph)

My dads 2l TSI runs GPS controlled 263kph (not tuned) its 162mph

  • @EnnovonSchwerin:

I am talking about a 2.0 basic TDI 140 or 170 hp version.

  • @Rev0lution88 thats not true completely, try to do an emergency brake with stearing around an obstacle in between at 200km/h with a "normal car" and u see what happens :)

  • LOL

  • Super!!Cool.. I love the Autobahn!

  • my mom was on the autobahn in a rental doing like 170 mph and got passed by a vw mk3 gti.

  • @highdeserthater

170?? an then passed by a at least 12 year old compact car? Yeah right... must have been a lamborghini rental and a mk3 with jet turbines. i smell bs...

  • @szeddezs fill in the info that i dont provide... it was modded......DOI everyone knows a stock mk3 would NEVER get up to 150. but a modded one......thats a new story. i feel like im teaching a retard how to make a peanut butter and honey sandwich sometimes when im on here.

  • many driving teachers must die in the autobahn

  • @bamboali

    not really, no.

and even if so, he is/was a bad teacher ;)

  • @bamboali

there are much more deadly accidents in the US than on the german Autobahn :D

  • LOL

  • wtf i just drove about 150 km/h in my first driving lesson on the autobahn ^^

  • "German Autobahn" means drive as fast as the car can!

  • @Vindex667

  • @Vindex667 yeah but you also have to know how to drive when you driving fast and the problem is that thers a lot of people who think that they can

  • first time i was on the autobahn (driving school) i drove about 195km/h (VW Golf) and it was extreme cool! Today i love speeding on the Autobahn!

The Autobahn is not only a Street... it is a nerver dieing legend!

    GERMANY!!!

  • My teacher barely got me to go 150 km/h, I didn't dare to go faster the first time. I clearly remember how it felt. My palms were shaking and sweaty. And this beast (don't laugh XD) 130 bhp Renault Megane diesel, was seriously gonna shake me off, and brake free from my control. I was scared as fuck. Not to mention the much faster mofos that kept passing me on the very left lane. Lanes seemed very narrow at that time too. But now, 250km/h is no big deal, car won't go faster >_<.

  • ok? i was on 220 km/h in driving shool ( bmw x3).... and it was the first time on the autobahn ..... ok second time ^^ but the first one was about 10 minutes =)

  • In Serbia we drive 40 kmh max

  • @desmodronic916 => fail

  • For info: the driving school is a Peugeot 307.

  • my first time on the autobahn with my driving teacher i nearly shit my pants at 210 km/h :D

  • This video defines one of the reasons I love Germans.

  • Man what? In Germany you can do like 125mph whilst learning... But yet in England if you do like 2mph over the speed limit you fail ur test.. ¬¬

  • My first driving lesson on the autobahn was just 120 kph - because of rain. On the second lesson, I went 160 kph. In 1988 in a VW Golf II Syncro, that wasn't slow.

  • pwned! ^^

  • my top speed in driving school was 240 Km/h (149 mph) on a Mercedes C-Class. My heart was on that speed too and the seat was sweated by me, but it was fun to let all those pro-drivers left behind with a driving-school car. But when i had my drivers license and did my first go on the autobahn alone, i was afraid to go over 180 km/h. :)

  • Haha just like me 160 in a lesson car with an top speed limit of 120.. Fuck speed limits on the highway.

  • my first driving lesson on the autobahn went like this:

my instructor told me to go as fast as i want, so i fucking floored it. when i reached top speed (230 kph in a golf turbodiesel) i was like "damn im the fastest mofo ever!" then my instructor told me to check the mirror and i saw some guy furiously giving light signals. so i changed lanes and a bmw m5 rushed by and disappeared over the horizon after 10 sec.

lesson learned: on the autobahn, there's always someone driving faster than you!

  • @szeddezs Good lesson haha

  • @szeddezs

same situation in my lesson. but i only reached 219kph (136mph). also in a golf 6 turbodiesel

  • @szeddezs thats exactly the way my driving lessons on the autobahn went :D

but fells great to overtake all those sundaydrivers and to know that they have to read the "fahrschule" sign on your back :D

  • @szeddezs i love you and your comment!

  • @szeddezs love your comment!!!

  • @szeddezs I agree, such driving schools taching this lesson should be everywhere, especially in Czech rep. You'd be surprised how many people dont get that and drive dangerously on highways here.

  • @szeddezs not if u got a bugatti veyron! :D

  • @szeddezs

for me it was 200kmh with a golf 4 1.9 tdi

  • @szeddezs That madde my day hahaha

  • @szeddezs haha great

  • @szeddezs

At 230 kph, which sounds too fast for a Golf with a small diesel, no BMW M5 disappears over the horizon after 10 seconds. I have overtaken cars doing 200 km/h when I drove more then 340 km/h, and it takes more than 20 seconds before I can´t see the car I overtook. Perhaps even 30 seconds. In this case, the speed is relative to you and not the road when someone overtakes you. So say he did 280 km/h when he overtook you, then it should take at least 30 seconds before you can´t see him.

  • @SurvivorZ1 1. A modern TDI shouldn't be underestimated. 2. You seem to assume the road has no hills... :P

  • @ziiofswe

Yes, in terms of fuel consumption, the diesels are superior to their petrol counterparts. But at higher speeds, you do need a petrol engine. Think why no supercars has diesels.

  • @SurvivorZ1 Well, there seems to be a 140hp version that is capable of at least 200+ km/h actual speed, and to that you can add that the average speedometer shows a little too much, and to _that_ you can add that the average storyteller adds a little to make a better story, and you've hit 230km/h. ;)

  • @ziiofswe

Yeah I know. At lower speeds, the speedometer is supposed to show a little to much so if you barely exceed the speed limit according to the speedometer, you are still not going to fast. My fathers cars speedometer says I did 150 km/h when I actually did 144. But yeah, I agree :)

  • on german autobahnen its possible i was driving 190kmh with a VW T5 and then my coworker saied "this exit!!!" :D

  • When I was in driving school (here in Germany) i went to the Autobahn with my instructor too. He told me to put my foot down. When I reached 200 km/h (125 mp/h) I chickened out and started to slow down. My instructor replied (literal translation): Step on it dammit, this bitch can do more than that! On this very day I found out that a mark V Golf will actually do 250 km/h (155 mp/h).

  • You know what's sad? A young German student motorist probably has more driving and lane discipline than an adult American motorist who's been driving for years.

  • Its normal because you have to handle with the high speed

  • losers theres no speedlimit whats ur problem :D

  • i made my license in germany, did about 180 km/h. its nothing unusual.

  • first time i drived on the autobahn the teacher let me drive witch over 230 kmh

  • It's good they teach you to drive safely on motorways. Over here in the UK learners are prohibited from driving on motorways until they pass their test. After you pass there is no formal requirement to get any training for motorways meaning you can drive on a motorway on your own without any previous experience whatsoever! >_<

  • @illusion2012 Really??? That sounds stupid to me! Why wouldn't they train to drive on the motoway before driving on there anyway?????

  • funny :-)

  • Best driving school is in Finland, as I have heard. They teach you how to drive in all wheather conditions. That is why they have so many great driving pilots in all the car competions.

  • Well, I drove about 190 in my driving lessons. Nothing unusual.

  • a trainee also needs to practice "fast-driving"....it´s absolutly common in GER, that the trainees also do some fast-drivings on the motorway....

  • I'm a driving instructor in Germany and I allow my students to drive as fast as they like on the Autobahn, provding that they've showed me that they have a grasp on the situation and traffic allows it.

They have to learn it somewhere ;)

  • there is a speed limit when it rains or if its foggy, or if theres an accident ;)

  • Ha.....I wish I can teach like that! But I live in Canada eh!

  • @TheDrivingSchool

I think its easier to drive in Canada. Although it does get boring when you drive down an empty straight road for quite a while. I need coffees to stay awake. Guess thats the purpose of tim hortons lol.

  • usual drive in Germany

  • Zja haha, das is eben "our good-old Germany" :D

  • yeha it was the learner...

    i drive ( mean the past ^^ ) 220 ... the car can't go faster

my teacher meant i will drive fast in future so he teach me... but today 220 is slow for me

  • Very much people drive over 200kmh... 60% ?

  • @zZdaknssZz no there arent that many people driving over 200 kmh.. i think most drive 170 to 190^^ and maybe 20 % over 200 ... ;D

  • I went for 190km/h while I was in driving-school. It's good to know what to expect, if someone who is experienced sits next to you! Today my average speed is 140-160 km/h.

und dann vromm 200, leider is mein jetziges auto nich annähernd so schnell xD

  • That was no special speed at all! Everybody has to learn to drive fast on the highway in Germany. Driving between 200 km/h and 250 km/h with your driving instructor is normal. In this case the car was only a Peugeot, but many driving school have much better cars it which you can easily drive 200+...

  • @autobahnaddict

germany is no utopia. most driving school have 100bhp diesel cars, cause they are effeicent. anyway, it's more scaring to drive 180 in one of those (polo for example) then to drive 250 in midsizecar like a passat.

  • Wow that is crazy!

  • in Germany, you can often drive over 200 km/h, so you have to learn it, when you are at driving school, i am a german guy, 17years old and be sure, I Drive over 200 every week.

But you have to be careful, dont think you can drive fast as germans doing this every day, you need routine and a cool head ^^.... autobahn wohoo

  • ehh

    sisi les francias

    mdr

in usa darf ichs chon fahren hab dort in mississippi meine fahrerlaubnis

  • Thats normal in germany, my shoolcar was a Audi S6 (only for Autobahn) and my teacher told me than I should go as fast as I have my confidence. I was a very safe driver so I accelerated to 280 km / h.

    Very nice memories :)

  • You mean Very nice Dreams :D

  • Ja ne is klar ;)

  • Wow.

    180 bis 185km/h

    LOL ;-)

  • so funny :)

  • the first time i was an a autobahn until a driving lesson, i drove about 180 to 200km/h... my theacher told me to do that, because ive to learn to feel the speed... and it was fun

  • @fayetale Dito ;-)

  • @fayetale yeah, same here, i did 195 km/h. my teacher didn't tell me to do so, but i just did and he didn't care. but it always depends on your teacher. some will just let you drive 130 (recommended speed on the autobahn), but so let you drive faster - as you said - to get the feeling for the speed.

  • @fayetale mine did the same and actually checked his gas pedal to make sure i had it down aaaall the way :D

  • @fayetale same

  • some driving schools in germany says, that you have to go fast as possible to feel the speed etc :o

  • haha i come from germany thats normal for us no speed limit but driving^^ school was funny XD

  • that´s nothing special I think

when I had driving lessons on autobahn...I was driving 170km/h...and it could have been more, but if I had been faster, the plate of the driving school on the car roof would be taken away by the wind ^^

  • lol nice vid :-)

  • also des isch doch voll normal ^^

  • @mpg4ever ja

  • this is normal

    das ist normal

  • thats normal. You must look when a Porsche drive with 280KMH on the left lane this is interessant

  • With my drifing school are 210Km/h

  • there ARE speed limits on the motorway in Germany.....not everywhere, but there are!

Foreigners should study the rules, before they get to another country

  • right. and the scene in the video is normal.

they have to teach the pupils on that speed.

  • yep. thats normal. i dont understand what is so funny inthis video. ok nomally driving schools drive 130km/h but ofc they sometimes drive faster on the highway.

  • Years ago, when i made my driver license, my teacher told me, that I also need to be teached at driving at high speed, since there is no speedlimit in Germany, you need to know how to drive fast... I do like to drive really fast if the petrol wasn't that expensive^^, but I think, there should be a law, which forbids jung drivers to drive at high speed. Yes I know the Autobahn is the safest road in the world. but 50 % of the deaths at the autobahn are young people at the age of 18-21....

  • At the driving school the instructor let you

    drive this speed sometimes.

But at the exam you are not aloud to go over 130 km/h (recommended speed ).

  • Nope. You can make your exam on a Autobahn

  • @Tobias83ausmdorf in netherlands wel

  • Hä?

  • With no speed limit(not everywhere!) you have to learn to handle high speeds. So why not drive 200+ in driving school when it is allowed? Did this with a A4 too. My teacher said: "Ok, now drive faster." I hit 160 km/h. He: "Faster" :D Nearly 200 satisfied him.

  • this is normal i hit 180 or something like that in the driving school.

A friend of me said nearly 200 km/h

  • For me is amazing because romanian driving schools values nearly nothing: instructors are teaching the beginners as in the 70's and 80's when was nearly impossible to meet 2 cars on the streets and we have to drive 30 hours before the exam, and here instructors saying nearly every time to us to drive slowe. What is the situation with this in your country?
