the keyboard guy has got an one minute solo and during the solo there was not a single close up on him by the camera man....do people really like looking at the bass for 5 minutes? I mean those who see this clip has for sure seen a lot of wooten films before and just a little attention to the band (there are actually 4 guys, amazing!!!!!!) would be nice. great song though.

This clip is a part from Vic's bass tutorial video. Probably, that's why they mostly kept filming Vic. He was teaching the main riff after the song.

I agree that a nice cut to the keyboard guy would have been nice indeed. But the keyboard guy is Joseph Wooten, so he doesn't mind that much, I think. :)

@mrmanninen92 Well the reason behind the view being on the bassist the whole time is because this is a bass guitar instructional video called Superbass techniques, hence why show a close up of a keyboard solo.

@mrmanninen92 That's because this is a clip from one of Wooten's instructional videos, this section concentrates on right hand thumping technique, probably also why the main riff is not left hand complicated. WOOTEN IS GOD

@mrmanninen92 that would be a fair point if this clip wasnt from an instructional video for bass. Yes the other members are great and it wouldnt be a great song without them, but its a video for bass players so if they dont show him when hes actually doing his job (holding down the groove) then itd be a redundant video. If it was a performance id agree wholeheartedly but there wouldnt be any point in the purpose of the video if they only showed him soloing
