  • Welcome to Osaka,It is Osaka with the history

    honmadeka!takoyaki

  • 5:15 DEFINITELY the weirdest masonry work i have ever seen. Burdock says here on wiki... very unusual, and it's probably the only original part left. Intteresting.

  • Cool video!

  • well made! If I get the chance I would love to try on the Samurai armor!

  • Do you get recognized in public alot these days?

  • @edtomorrow LOL no way.

  • Cool. 先月、私は大阪城に行ったり、そこでたこやきを食べてみた。とってもおいしくて、安かった!

    ゴメンネ、私は日本語を話すのが下手です。

Im glad I`m subscribed into your cute_face channel =J

  • When was Osaka Castle built?

  • @SatoshiMatrix1 this is why i put a link to wikipedia. lol sorry!

  • あらっ。大阪城にも金のシャチホコがあるなんて知らなかったわ~!

  • Osaka Castle was a bit too... tourist-y for me. But maybe my impression was also weakend by the fact that it was raining the day I went there... I really liked the castles of Matsue and Matsumoto, which are closer to being the "real" thing.

  • i love you Hiroko!

  • Cool idea! excellent to purchase ticket in machine

  • 豊臣 秀吉 は壮大な逢坂じょ の建築お命令しました

arigatou for the Video / Bideo

  • Thanks, interesting views, lovely cherry flowers ^^

whenever I see cherry blossoms, a song comes to my mind, sakura aitai

    it's like 桜、桜、会いたいよ、なんとかなんとか lol

  • 2:07 damn those lucky french fellows ! ^^ really can't wait to see those awesome places n Japan xD

  • I hate tourist traps, no filming here, stand in line here, boring musium here, gift shop, exit here

Don't they know your Hiroko, jeez! (our japanese globetrekker) :)

  • Osaka Jo Park is the best part. In the past 4 years, I've only gone inside the castle once but Himeji Jo maybe 15 times in that time, even though it's so much further away.

Elevators are nice for elderly and disabled people, for everyone else there are far better castles like the many in Shikoku. But, it looks like you still could have a good time (よかった^^) I hope you were able to enjoy your stay in Osaka.

From Osaka Jo you can bicycle to the mountains in less than 1 hour.

  • Nice vid! You should have let some of us Kansai vloggers know you were in Osaka! We could have met!

Wow...it looked so busy inside the castle!

  • okini ! Yamoto wa osashiburi desu ne : (

  • I like Osaka Castle very much, thank you for the nice tour.

  • Nice video of Osaka-jo! Did you also go see Himeji-jo?

  • @gtpluvr no cuz it was under construction and my boyfriend wants to take me there when Sakura is blooming. :) so maybe next year!

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL You will enjoy Himeji-jo too! I didn't know it was under construction. I visited Himeji-jo in 2004 and really enjoyed it alot! It will be beautiful with Sakura blooming! I was there during summer.

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Also,I was told that Himeji-jo is the most beautiful castle in Japan!

  • ほんとうにすてきなところです

  • BTW, Hiroko, I predict you will have 20,000 subscribers by the end of this year. That will qualify you for idol status!

  • how much english does your boyfriend understand?

  • @writofmandamus enough to understand my english. lol

  • Did you actually see old parts of the inside of the castle? The parts you were in all looked modern.

BTW, Hiroko, it's obvious from these videos that you and your boyfriend have a wonderful time together, which is nice to see. You really seem to glow when you are with him. :-)

  • @DavePerry2012 He is very cooperative with what I do, which is very nice of him. I usually don't like guys in general, but he's a special one. :-)

Yeah the reason Japanese people don't really like this castle in particular is cuz it's too modern inside. they made an elevator and such. I like other castles much better too.

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL your a great person, judging by what you said in your videos, I hope this mean world will never change you ^^

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Well, a lot of us are really not that bad, once you get to know us. :-)

Many of us around the world would even hold cameras for lovely ladies as well. :-)

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL me too. I love the old historical castles, they bring back memory of samurai ages, like in the movies ect. so what did happen to the castle???? do tell /=o

  • i went to osaka jo but,,,we didnt go inside,,,so sad about that

  • you are soooooo kawaii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • おもしろい

  • The costume attendant must have fell asleep. Someone please tell RoninDave to return the armor and helmet to Osaka castle.

  • I have a question. Is it is easy and no trouble to travel fast from Tokyo to Osaka and vice versa?

  • @tsjoencinema yes if you fly. bullet train takes a bit longer but people do travel to Osaka-Tokyo often, so it's not too bad.

  • Thanks for the video! I use your videos to show what I like about Japan and why I want to move there! Beautiful views hope to see it soon ^_^

  • i love your country, i miss it soooooo much :(

  • Hello Hiroko, i would like to know whats the meaning of the Hannya Mask in the Japanese Culture. Thank you <3

  • I've only ever seen Japanese women hold their purses like you do in the video. A totally strange and random thing to notice, but hey. Haha

  • wow cool place i would like to go there someday ^^

  • Lol the kid contradicting you :) Very nice ! Glad you could video some of the castle even if it's a beautiful view or two!! Okonomiyaki Osaka style! I can't wait!! ;P Thank you so much for sharing these videos :D

  • Added to my list of places to visit in Japan!! ありがとう

  • Japanese castles are so cool! I wanna go there... :D

  • I went there! I miss japan

  • one of my favorite places in Japan :-)

  • I "applauded" your videos...I went to Osaka and Kyoto in 1988 yes I am that old but not a Ojisan ahahahaah

  • what is one the 2-3 floors you cant video tape? and are all rooms in use in the castle?

  • The feeling with the foreign tourists is mutual. Neuschwanstein is crowdes by American, Chinese and Japanese tourists. I prefer smaller castles over here with less tourists.

  • kanto ben? anatta no koe wa chotto kikoe nikkui ,demo video wa itsumo omshiroii and btw nagoya jo is better xD

  • I need to keep updated more on your vids.. i didnt realize you were comming to Kansai. There are allot of vloggers around here and we could have organized a meetup to meet you. did you meet any other vlogers?

  • @platonicmojo hmmm no, I didn't meet anyone cuz this time the real purpose of my trip was to go see my boyfriend who was away for a while. ;)

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Come on, you have to set aside some time for your fans! XD

  • @DavePerry2012 He is my official camera crew! ;) We like sharing love. ^^

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL I think that's wonderful.

Just make sure to make him natto pancakes once in a while as payment for his diligent camera work. XD

  • another great vid! id love to visit this castle! ill put it on my list of places to see :)

  • I don't like it when you mix English with Japanese interjections. It sounds kind of supercilious.

(e.g. 2:15 : "Goldfish ga... nanka nee looks different from other castles in Japan ja nai ne")

You do it more and more often, I've noticed.

  • I'm impressed that such an old building stands that tall from ground level. Must visit and see! Oh and thumbs up to the old man taking a public wee at 00:53 lol

  • I am amazed that there were still some cherry blossoms on the trees. These are all gone here in Shizuoka. Great video tour! Brought back some nice memories. ~Kurt :-)

  • i felt like a tourist in this video` lol great job!

  • What camcorder do you use?

  • @ngvgnDOTcom Sony HDR-XR500

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Really nice camcorder. The image stabilization is very good and shoots in low light very well also.

The AVCHD files how long did it take you to encode the video?

  • @ngvgnDOTcom thanks! encode the video? now you are going to far! i know nothing about that! haha! XD i just use my imovie to edit and thats about all i know! lol

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Sorry I meant with iMovie how long does it take you make your video?

    Thank you.

  • @ngvgnDOTcom hmm maybe 3-4hrs for a video such as this one, from downloading the video to my mac and uploading on YT. the part takes the longest is downloading/uploading, not so much on editing.

  • Loved the fact it's IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY. You can look out your window while working at one of those modern buildings and look at something, right there, that reminds you where you are, what happened in that piece of land thousands of years ago. Sugoi ne.

  • @bikobs good point!

  • Oh and Must give some credit to Tsuyoshivić! Great job on filming! ^^

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Can you reveal what his YouTube name means? I'm assuming it's not his real name since it sounds more Russian than Japanese.

  • @DavePerry2012 nothing really. lol he likes that name for some reason. just take "vić" off.^^ i think it's from a football player's name...

  • Nice video, looks really nice there. I still dont get the thing about the boys in blue though?

  • @sargeantscigar I said "Yama mo chikai ne" which means, "the mountains aren't far from here." and Just as I said it, (I don't think they heard me say it) the boys said "The mountains are really far!" lol

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL Oh haha sorry I didn't catch that first time, and now I realised you explained it in the video as well. Thanks ^^

  • @HIROKOCHANNEL I went to Osaka Castle back in 2005 and it was 30C that day! totemo atsui!!! demo tanoshikatta desu!!! ^_^

  • Cool video! I felt like I was watching a movie for some reason like "Cloverfield" lol

  • Wow, Osaka Castle! I WANT TO GO THERE!!! T___T

  • This is really different from our medieval castles here in Europe. Saying this, I do prefer the japanese style castle, the gardens are amazing... Thanks for the video!

  • well..

i've seen Osaka Castle from 5 397,75 Miles away...

    nice impression :d

  • What A Wonderful Place :P Thanks For The Video ;) Your So Cute haha!

  • Why didn't you indulge in the applause and went with it? You deserve it! hahahah

    Nice video, hare onna!

    kind regards from Belgium.

  • what was on 3F and 4F,,,,,,????

  • @osakaben10 some historical things like a real museum, instead of just maps and explanations.

  • Thank you for show us this video.

    Take care

  • Thanks for the tour! It's been a long time since I've been to Osaka. I look forward to seeing the Okonomiyaki. Have fun~!

  • Thanks for the video Hiroko!

How do I say that in Japanese BTW?

  • @Kordoc5 Bideo o Arigato!

  • Thanks for the tour. Awesome Castle! ; )

  • Its annoying when you go somewhere & want to film & your not allowed. I was surprised I was able to film Matsumoto castle, it was cooler than a few places I was not allowed to film...The Tiger looks like it may have been done by the same artist that painted the tigers in Nijo Castle. I havn't been to Osaka Castle yet, I want to go there, I'm interested in Toyotomi Hideyoshi......cool vid : )

  • i wanna visit that too:((

  • I never did get to visit Osaka Castle when I was in Japan. Also, I hear Himeji Castle is closed for repairs.

Anyway, thanks for uploading this video. It was really nice to see.

  • Chipmunks speaking Japanese would be a NIGHTMARE. I thought normal Japanese talked too fast!! @.@ はやすぎるよ~!

  • Sugoi! Thanks for sharing! Awesomely beautiful! I want to visit Osaka one day!
