  • Interesting Concept. Maybe you should try some pontoons on the side for better stability. Hope you succeed man, I like this kinda stuff.

@cadman2300: You cant test an ocean going boat on a lake man, thats like learning to drive in your backyard, then going onto the highway.

  • The concept is great but the execution was a bit off especially in such choppy water. A lake would have been easier.

The whale was kinda cool though. Not the kind of sea mammal you expect to come across while boat testing.

  • @cadman2300 the point of this boat was to cross the Atlantic ocean in 40 days. he allready set a record for longest distance set on a lake in 24 hrs. something like 175 km.

  • I'am getting sick and tired. lol

  • Looks like a real Bhamo! ride. Being knocked about in that thing!. I spent 1 year at sea duty in the Navy. Even with a 210 ft ship, It was Crazy! I would have put side floats on it to help stabilize it fast after being buffeted. As to hydrofoils, rough seas would make that impossible.

    William :)

  • what is this song? very appropriate...i like it!

  • a lil' sea sick?

  • Hello, since the speed of your boat is so slow, I belive that you could have almost any shape and it does not make very much resistance. The only question are the winds and how they affect it. But if you need a better sitting position, I would say that you should go for it.

The next idea is why not to use a hydrofoil. See for example the new invention hydrofoil kayak. It will have a lot less water friction resistance and it is faster. See my video "Hydrofoil Kayak". Best regards!
