Whats the point in giving food aid as the aid should be directed to be to protect the domestic producers. Haiti was self sufficient on food in 1980 ! The free markets does not work here, as it is one sided. The foreign producers are subsidized by their governments, which will lower the prices on the local products and make investments impossible.
