@backerbabe15 usually with birds, if you keep repeating things over and over, they get annoyed or bored with you. birds don't have the capacity to know what to say, they just randomy mimic things they hear around them, like my nanday saying "dummy" while I was watching an episode of sanford & son.

they are good at saying cuss words because ppl put emphasis on the words when they are said... Birds pay attention to the TONE and body language of what we say (and how)... If I want to teach something to my parrots, I just say it w/enthusiasm. (never cuss words, as i'm trying to wean my macaw from saying "Peek-a-boo! Peek-a-booger!" that my nephew taught her)... it's difficult once they learn it,you have to remember to ignore the bad stuff when it happens or else they learn what gets attention.
