@999ryancomin you are retarded! there doesn't need to be air holes it the gap between the top of the box and the shelve is apart, plenty of air gets through. also he said in his comment he put 15 worms in each gecko's dish with calcium. that one had less worms because it probably ate them. think before you post.

Okay, I just found something to add to my question, I found something that says you should wait until they are at least 5-10 inches to put them on sand if you're going to; does this measurement include the tail?

what is your average female leo weight? just want to see what the basic is since i want to breed and i know that they have to be at least 45grams

@SGBGT Our leopard geckos' weight can vary quite a bit. We have females breeding here at 45-50 grams and we have some that are up to 80-90 grams. I'd say the average is between 60-65 grams, but it can vary at different times of year, too. I think if you hold off on breeding until at least 45 grams, you'll be safe. Good luck!

@GangstaKul dude, just find out where your nearest pet store with a reptile section other than pets @ home is, pets at home at absoloutely shite for reptiles. all they sell is a few normal leo's and nearly fully grown beardies. and their starter kits give you all the wrong stuff.

This place near where i am called water marque sells choc albinos, beardie morphs, crested geckos, palm geckos, chameleons, scorpions and spiders, its sweet!

Each animal is unique, we generally handle each Leo once or twice per week depending on the feeding and cleaining schedule.
