  • WOLVES DON'T DESERVE TO BE HUNTED DOWN. NO PREDATOR DOES IF THEY ARE IN THEIR NATIVE LANDS.

  • FACTS about meat

Do humans need meat protein to be healthy?

Meat supplies all 8 amino acids. Most plant based sources of protein are said to be incomplete, supplying only a few of the 8 essential aminos. However, soy contains all 8 essential aminos. If vegetarians vary the food they eat, there is absolutely no problem getting all the protein they need

Protein doesn't have to be an animal source. There are so many readily available plant based protein sources.

  • Type of food Quantity providing 10g protein (g) Soya flour 24 Peanuts 39 Pumpkin seeds 41 Almonds 47 Brazil Nuts 50 Sunflower seeds 51 Sesame seeds 55 Hazel Nuts 71 Wholemeal bread 95 Whole lentils dried & boiled 114 Chickpeas dried & boiled 119 Kidney beans dried & boiled 119 Wholemeal spaghetti boiled 213 Brown rice boiled 385 An adult man 19-50 yrs only requires 55.5 (g/day) protein. As you can see from the list above getting that 55 grams is quite easy on a plant based diet.
  • Ok, and now that triippyx has gone off the deep end into a lunatic curse filled rant rampage, I will address some issues.

    1) Meat is not required in diets by humans, it is only one FORM of supplied protein.

    2) The meat/livestock industry have a PROVEN track record of cutting every corner there is to max profits- including health and safety as well as animal care laws.

    3) Meat has caused a horrific toll on all wildlife nation-wide & at an enormous public cost to all taxpayers.

  • 4) Meat/stockmen, wool growing industries are what brought about MASSIVE nationwide poisoning campaigns, hundreds of thousands of extremely toxic baits were spread over the land like candy to KILL EVERY wild animal even THOUGHT to be a "threat" to livestock interests, steel leg traps and guns were also used, this was even done in YS national PARK especially to increase GAME animals for HUNTERS to kill.

The acceptable losses for these industries was: ZERO, thus the taxpayers footed the bills

  • cont:

For these massive mass poisoning and killing programs. depts charge with PROTECTING wildlife were instead KILLING them for the livestock industry.

Wolf bounties put in place in almost every state were soon riddled with MASSIVE fraud, some states only req the ears as proof, as a result DOGS were killed and ears presented as "wolves" for the bounty, wolves' ears turned in in one state wound up being turned in another state for ITS bountry- double payments.

Coyotes were turned in as "wolves"

  • There were even people who captured wolves, allowed them to breed in confinement pens, and later turned in the litter of puppies for the bounty. Fed paid hunters left a few "breeders" in various areas so they could guarantee work for themselves the following year

Losses were vastly inflated by the ind, subsidies, payments for loss and mass wildlife control paid for by taxpayers wasnt enough for them, they expected ZERO losses. No other ind every got so much out of so many suckers for so long.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Hun you were the one who started the hate and cursing first. But I suppose you forgot that. I haven't lost any argument. As I've said before your head is rammed too far up your ass to see anything from a different point of view.

Your 'facts' mean next to nothing. They are poor and one sided and I have no reason to address them.

You can go to fake supplemental but they are NOT as healthy as eating actual meat. Have fun taking on the meat industry dumb ass.

  • Facts about YS park Elk decline:

Despite a sizable drop in the number of wolves residing inside Yellowstone National Park, the park's Northern Range elk herd suffered a 20 percent decline in 2010, according to an annual aerial survey completed in December.

Grizzly bears, hunting pressure and drought are factors cited by wildlife biologists as contributing to the decline of Yellowstone's Northern Range elk herd

As the elk population has declined, though, wolf numbers have shown a similar drop

  • "Disease and killings of wolves by each other have cut the wolf population on the Northern Range from 94 wolves in 2007 to 37 last year

Grizzly bears are cited as one of the main predators of young elk calves. The calves are easy for bears to catch, calving traditionally occurs in the same areas so bears remember where to go for a meal.

grizzly numbers in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem are at capacity nearly 600 animals. "

Lets see, which is killing more elk? 37 wolves or 600 BEARS?

  • The biologists of the Northern Yellowstone Cooperative Wildlife Working Group, which compile the winter survey, agree that predation on newborn elk calves by grizzly bears may limit the elk population's ability to recover from earlier losses

A long-term drought earlier this decade is also partly to blame, biologists agreed, by reducing the nutrition and abundance of forage.

    From Billings Gazette Jan/2011 issue

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Bears are hunted you dumb twat, just as coyotes and cougars. Wolves are doing fine and thriving, they NEED to be hunted just as other predatory animals do. Me using curse words does not mean anything. I tried being civil with you yet you have your head rammed too far up your ass to see.

You will never stop hunting, you will never stop people from eating meat. You won't take down the meat industry. Kindly go fuck yourself and leave me be, you ignorant cunt.

  • Comment removed

  • @triippyx I see you STILL resort to your hate, curse filled rants and raves, it just proves you LOST the argument and cant even hold a rational conversation without the use of "dumb twat" "fuck" "asshole" "ignorant cunt" and your plethora of other useless words that prove you lost your case.

Thanks for um "participating" better get off that white powder you are "triipp-ing" on, I'm done with your idiocy LOL

  • As far as meat goes, NOT buying meat does not necessarily mean the same meat goes to someone else, there is the "law" of supply and demand, as demand decreases supply- especially PERISHABLE food will be forced to be reduced in production as well. What is not sold will expire and spoil- hitting the producers with LOSSES which in turn causes cutbacks.

What is spoiled and thrown away is not MY problem

  • @NativePrairieWolf

You still aren't doing any major impact on the meat industry. There is still plenty of meat every time I go into the store. See, a lot more people eat meat than don't. That much is clear. But some dumb ass who thinks that humans DON'T require meat clearly won't see that.

  • People should get the NOVA/PBS video "Dogs decoded" it's excellent, it has quite a bit about wolves and that they are 99.8% genetically the same as dogs. Interestingly an experiment with wolf cubs raised the same as puppies by volunteers showed a marked behaviour change at 8 weeks of age- the puppies became more human centered and eager to learn, the cubs were off on their own thing mostly ignoring the people.

Theres a segment on the silver fox experiment and more.

  • Character limit prevented me from elaborating on that. You stated it right there. Humans have the capability of growing whatever food they need. However, imagine if you didn't have that store to go buy all the right, specific foods you needed to maintain that diet. You'd be hunting too. Eating meat is natural for humans, and most other animals. So stop hating on everyone just because they like to follow the natural order of things and don't agree or understand your...'argument'

  • @LilSasukeUchiha1218 "imagine" doesnt work, because we DO have stores to buy all the food we need and want WITHOUT resorting to murdering animals for it.

I live in the county on acreage, I could grow my own food if I chose to, I would certainly not be out hunting.

Eating meat is NOT "natural" for humans today, it is a barbaric LUXURY that always results in brutality and a brutal death, espec when maximizing PROFITS are the sole motive for the industry.

Preditors like wolves have no choice.

  • Hey everyone! I am the admin of an MMORPG ( massive multiplayer online game ) forum. The game is based on the medieval times, where wolves and humans are at war. The game will be out soon enough. • Howlingforjustice. Fight for Wolfs all together we can save them...

  • crys and crys and crys i love wolves

  • Why would someone abuse an stunning creature like a white wolf? I just don't get it.

  • I have a recording of a wild WHITE WOLF on my cell phone that i captured a couple of months ago...I was in my vehicle driving down the road from my house & I just saw this white thing dash across the road. @ first i thought it was my neighbors dog...when i drove up closer to it i REALIZED IT WAS A WHITE WOLF!!! I have the recording on my cell phone but i can not upload it because it exceeds something so i can not do it. It is not very common to see this type of animal just out in the open.

  • Only place i had seen one was @ the zoo....Then to top it off there was a FULL MOON. (I have the recording of that too on my phone)....IS THAT JUST A COINCIDENCE?.....Ha ha ha....We were on our way to the casino & needless to say that the white WOLF brought me luck!! I actually won $400.00 that evening....like they say "ONCE IN A LIFETIME".....WHITE WOLVES ROCK!!!

  • I love all animals. Hope we all learn to co-exist.

  • anyone played nancy drew: the white wolf of icicle creek? it is the best nancy drew game EVER!!!!! Isis is SO AWESOME!!!!!!!!

  • i love all wolves. but by far, white wolves are my favorite! mostly because of nancy drew the white wolf of icicle creek. go Isis!!!

  • Wolves and John Mayer= A cluster of epic

  • WOLVES ROCK...but not all wolves should be protected forever....more there are the less cattle, deer, elk, antalope, and moose there will be....but they shouldnt be hunted like deer.....BTW this is coming from a hunter but i would never dream of shooting a wolf!!!!!!

  • why is it only white wolves:( it should be all wolves

  • ALL of the wolf/coyote/fox slaughter is a result of the livestock industry and wool murderers, they are ONLY in business today because "you" the consumer insist on eating meat and wearing wool, if you do either you directly help the bastards continue even today to destroy OUR wildlife and at taxpayer expense as it's always been.

Get angry and BOYCOTT meat and wool clothing, help put a slaughterhouse OUT OF BUSINESS along with the sordid cattle ranchers.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Wow you're an idiot. Wolves and Coyotes are NOT being slaughtered. They are being culled.

Destroying peoples livelihoods for wolves who are doing FINE AND THRIVING is NOT okay. I'll gladly go out and shoot a fucking wolf because of idiots like you.

And no, the meat and wool industry is NEVER going out of business. Grow the fuck up and get over the legal harvest of wolves. It NEEDS to be done.

  • @triippyx Be my guest and go out and commit more animal murders if that's what it takes for you to feel your dick is bigger than the 4 incher it must be to "prove" yer a maaan.

The meat and livestock industry are a DYING relic that wont last and cant sustain itself, people are more and more fedup with the filth, ecoli, recalls, cholesterol, costs at the store plus the environmental costs.

Wool is EASY to replace, you cant even buy real wool carpet anymore as you once could.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Sweetheart I'm female. I don't have a dick in the first place. Nice try though.

You're a fucking retard and you're never going to amount to anything as far as animal conservation goes.

  • @triippyx

stop eating meat or using byproducts of meat. animal fat goes into the production of steel"

I dont eat meat and havent for longer than you are old, I do my part to MINIMIZE the death of animals because Im alive.

I have to wonder why YOU, an obvious wolf HATER even bothers with a video on an wolf SANCTUARY helping to SAVE wolves, you certainly arent going to change MY mind or that of anyone else here who posts they like wolves.

Go back to your pro-slaughter-murder videos

  • @NativePrairieWolf

    Whoa whoa whoa. Chill out.

95% of the stuff you've said has made no sense, yet you insist on constantly making assumptions of someone else. What makes you think they're pro-slaughter? Your argument is invalid. And will always be invalid. And just for the record, humans are omnivores. Do you know what that means? It means they naturally must consume both meat and plants, in case you never learned that. If you had no store to go to to buy food, you'd be dying of malnutrition.

  • Humans have the UNIQUE ability to GROW our own food- grains, rice, oats, barley, fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and more. Meat is NOT required, nor is the very unnatural consumption of fatty milk which is made for rapid growth of new born animals and naturally contains colostrum to protect them against diseases for a short time- which no other adult animal consumes but us.

What do STORES have to do with this discussion and dying of malnutrition? I never said close STORES up.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

"I dont eat meat and havent for longer than you are old, I do my part to MINIMIZE the death of animals because Im alive."

Do you not use plastics, medications, sugars, shampoos and conditioners, glass, detergent/fabric softener, rubber or so many other common products? If you do, you're a hypocrite. Owning a home makes you a hypocrite, animals had to be hunted to clear your land.

The only way for you to be a TRUE vegan is if you were a hermit. Which, clearly you aren't.

  • @triippyx Nope, like I said, READ it this time: " I do my part to MINIMIZE the deaths of animals because Im alive"

I do not use even half those products you cite, my home was built in 1930- long before I was born, I'm quite certain my BUYING it had zero animal deaths associated with it, and thers NO HUNTING signs posted on the land it's on

I get deer FAMILIES, and other wildlife here, incl 3 fawns at once who laid out on the grass in the back for a snooze recently

    I buy only USED computers.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

You're an fucking idiot if you think you're doing any good by denying meat but continuing to use products that were MADE from animals. Jesus Effin Christ get that through your head! You aren't minimizing anything, the meat that you don't buy will just be bought by someone else, or wasted. By not buying meat you aren't slowing down the slaughter of cows. If anything those who eat meat are the ones who respect cattle because they aren't letting them die for nothing!

  • @triippyx LOL there you go resorting to using "fuck" and insults in your comments, showing you are rapidly LOSING your argument and have to resort to angry cursing in the hopes you'll bolster your already poor material.

    Keep it up :)

  • @NativePrairieWolf

I actually do not hate wolves. They're beautiful animals and I find them admirable. However I am not against the legal harvest of them either. Nice assumption there bro.

Also, youtube is a public site. I can post here or any anti hunting videos if I please. And yes it is rather clear that you are too ignorant to actually see both sides of an issue, though it is rather hilarious to watch you fail about on the internet, telling kids to boycott the meat industry.

  • @triippyx What we NEED is ONE child per couple so we reduce the population growth AND the demand on the limited, finite, dwindling ecosystem.

Meat and wool industries WILL bankrupt one day, when the cost is too high, subsidies they enjoy are gone, and people decide to live HEALTHIER and with less impact on sentient creatures.

Meat takes HUGE amounts of water that is already in short supply in many states. Additional animal welfare regs will cost MORE. "culled" IS slaughter you fool.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Yeah, its a shame that we don't live in some kind of dictatorship right? Keep throwing out unrealistic solutions out there, it only shows how stupid you are.

Where is your valid proof? You can say one thing will happen but if you have no way to back it up you have no reason to be arguing it.

No, retard. Culling animal populations is NOT slaughtering them, YOU are the only fool here. Educate yourself.

  • @triippyx "Where is your valid proof? " all around you, just google it and you'll find a plethora of resources proving all of it, urls dont post in comments.

"culling" is a PC term for: "MASS RANDOM SLAUGHTER"

Dalmatian breeders "cull" white puppies from litters- "cull" means they KILL them, usually by drowning them.

"cull" sounds better to the public than "DROWNED the puppies", but htey are still DEAD.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

They can post in Messages, just sayin. And hun, I still call bull. You can go to any misinformed source and they'll give you something to back your arguments with, however that does not make it any less misinformed or wrong.

Claiming that the meat industry is a dying industry is shit, do you know how much we use animals for? Do you know how much of a cow we use? Hell, meat even goes into our pets food! -continued-

  • @triippyx The call for earnings nearly 3 times the current levels was made by the federation’s meat and fibre chairman, Bruce Wills, who said the downward spiral of the sector’s earnings was “potentially terminal”

“For sev years now sheep farmers have been getting inadequate returns on their efforts and capital,” he said at Stortford Lodge stockyards in Hastings

and the average sheep farmer’s income was $19,400 last year

“This has resulted in many sheep farmers leaving the industry,” Wills said

  • Yet another meat recall, guess this "fresh" "healthy" meat was a little TOO fresh eh triippyx;)

Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. is recalling about 131,300 pounds of ground beef because a family in Ohio fell ill after eating MEAT produced by the company that was contaminated with E. coli

Four children became ill after eating the meat with their family in Butler County, Ohio, A 9-year-old child was hospitalized for about 10 days.

  • "The Jungle" full of nauseating detail he had researched about the meat-packing ind, 1906

instant best-seller, Sinclair's book reeked with the stink of the Chicago stockyards. He told how dead rats were shoveled into sausage-grinding machines; how bribed inspectors looked the other way when diseased cows were slaughtered for beef, and how filth and guts were swept off the floor and packaged as "potted ham"

"The Jungle" did much to turn Americans into vegetarian

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Um, where have I ever said culling doesn't mean to kill? I implied that it doesn't mean mindless slaughter. We cull populations for a reason, to ensure that both predator and prey can survive in healthy numbers AND that animal and human can coexist properly. I don't know about you, but I don't like seeing deer flop around on the side of the road after being hit, and I don't like to see starving coyotes turn to domestic animals as a source of prey. -continued-

  • @triippyx ALL of that is a direct result of MAN, not nature, WE are the ones who totally screwed up in every way. ANimals lived for eons together without killing each other off, if they had there would be no animals left.

The wolves of Isle Royale and the prey animals there have lived a long time TOGETHER, neither has gone extinct, nor have the deer overstripped their habitat on that closed off ISLAND

REINDEER introduced by MAN DID in the Alaskan fiasco

Cattle here have destroyed way too much

  • Zemco Industries in Buffalo, NY, has recalled approximately 380,000 # of deli meat that may be contaminated with bacteria..

Cargill Meat Solutions Corp. has announced for the second time in less than 6 weeks a recall of 36 MILLION # of meat and ground turkey products..

Palo Duro Meat is recalling 40000 pounds of frozen fine ground beef..

Meatpacker United Food Group LLC expanded a recall to include 5.7 million # of fresh and frozen beef...

2/08 USDA: 143 million # of beef recalled

    Dying ind.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Again you aren't thinking very realistically. There will ALWAYS be a demand for meat, and you can spit irrelevant quotes at me all you want. The meat industry will not be going anywhere, like it or not humans are omnivores and therefore they require meat.

Fruit, eggs, and other foods have been recalled as well. Dole cantaloupes have been recalled. So I suppose the 'fruit industry' is a dying one too.

  • @triippyx Humans do NOT need meat, not at all- just ask any vegetarian who never eats meat of any kind, meat is an unneeded LUXURY today like cotton candy and popcorn. You NEED water, you NEED air, but when meat price goes too high it gets CUT out of the food budget along with other unnecessary items.

Yep other foods have been recalled- CONTAMINATED BY DIRTY MEAT. Fruit doesnt cost much to grow nor waste so much water, not like steers.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

I suppose we're just going to stop eating because the industries that provide us with food are going to die.

And I find it laughable that you bring up a book from 1906. Clearly those who turned vegetarian in those times did not stay vegetarian. Or they did not pass the vegetarian values onto their families, because I'm pretty sure we're still eating meat. The meat industry has changed since then, and you're an idiot if you think they would keep going the same way.

  • @triippyx they will fade off to a shell of their former glory as COSTS increase and profits decrease even more than they halve already. NEW animal care regs for HUMANE treatment, energy costs, labor costs, at some point especially now- more will say "I cant afford that $19 steak" "I cant afford that $6 ground round."

The almost monthly massive recalls for CONTAMINATED meat cost millions more plus lawsuits.

Lets not forget the meat plant charged with hiring hundreds of ILLEGALS and shut down

  • @triippyx Now, why would you find it "laughable" I cite a book about the meat industry's HISTORY? given the fact theres been so MANY recalls for FILTH- contamination of meat with SHIT/ecoli which kills people, hidden cams have found many of the SAME filthy practices from 1906 era are STILL going on- rodent infestations, illegals handling food who have hepatitus and other diseases, spolied food sold anyway, its a dirty industry not far removed from grinding dead rats into sausage even today.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

"Now, why would you find it "laughable" I cite a book about the meat industry's HISTORY?"

I'm pretty sure History means what had happened in THE PAST. NOT the present. Not only is it irrelevant now its highly laughable that you think it is a valid point. If you're going to bring up shit that happened back in the day then I can as well, such as the fact that vegetarians we're not only unhealthy back in those times, they also DIED from a poor diet.

  • @triippyx History tends to REPEAT itself, and the FACT there are frequent massive meat RECALLS due to contamination by SHIT/ecoli/listeria is proof of it, now MAYBE they arent grinding up dead rats into sausage today as they did, but any industry who would DO that then is not one Id want to buy from today.

GOOGLE this article about a rendering plant "Valley Proteins" in Baltimore that a reporter interviewed:

"A Look Inside a Rendering Plant"

plant floor is piled high with "raw product"...

  • @NativePrairieWolf

    FDA, bro.

If a meat packing plant was pulling something like that, they would be takin' down. And anything can get contaminated, not just meat.

  • "Recycling dead pets and wildlife into animal food is "a very small part of the business that we don't like to advertise," Valley Proteins' President, J. J. Smith, told City Paper . The plant processes these animals as a "public service, not for profit," Smith said, since "there is not a lot of protein and fat [on pets]..., just a lot of hair you have to deal with somehow."

In an average month, Baltimore 's pound hands over 1,824 dead animals to Valley Proteins...

  • @NativePrairieWolf

You are truly an idiot if you think the same practices that had gone on in 1906 are still going on today.

Again you continue to spew irrelevant 'facts'. Yes, meat has the potential to make us sick. So do many other foods. You have NO real argument what so ever, do you?

Bro, humans are PART of nature.

". ANimals lived for eons together without killing each other off, if they had there would be no animals left."

Lolwhat. That doesn't even begin to make sense.

  • @triippyx SOME of the same filthy practices are still going on TODAY in meat packing plants, that's one reason WHY the meat is constantly contaminated literally by **SHIT** that's where ecoli and all the rest COME FROM!

You'd better watch the hidden camera videos at meat packing and rendering plants hon- cause youve bought too many of those nice sterile looking celophane packages of neatly sliced meat for so long you actually BELIEVE it always looks like that.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Key word there, some. Not all. The meat industry has regulations it has to abide to hun.

I'll gladly accept being some young kid out of high school over some old coot who has his head rammed too far up his ass that he can't even see clearly.

And the part that I don't understand is the fact that you seem to think animals have never killed each other off and that it has always been the 'evil' humans fault. THAT is what I'm confused about.

  • @triippyx NONE of those practices are acceptable when you are dealing with a bacteria caused by FILTH and unsanitary handling of FOOD that people eat The fact that meat is contaminated by SHIT despite all the regs and laws is unacceptable. Given the fact that the # of USDA inspectors and inspections is tiny, sporatic and spotty- the industry gets away with a whole lot of violations daily.

Watch: "if this is kosher" about the meat plant Agriprocessors inc shut down for HUNDREDS of violations

  • @NativePrairieWolf

A whole lot of violations? Really? Can you name these violations?

You're so caught up on the bacteria and 'shit' that we eat, did it ever occur to you that maybe the bacteria dies when the meat is cooked?

Your sources aren't very good hun. I'm just saying.

  • @triippyx "A whole lot of violations? Really? Can you name these violations?"

REALLY, did you freaking SEARCH for the video like I said to? I'm not going to do your leg work FOR you, it's all in the video "if this is kosher" and google for Agriprocessors will find the arrest case of the owner and employees and ALL of the details in the news about the filth, extreme animal welfare violations, money scams and hiring hundreds of ILLEGALS from Mexico including minors to work there.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Ah alright. Telling me to go to a biased source isn't going to work hun. You may have been brainwashed by this shit but I won't.

People also get sick from food that is not prepared properly. That isn't the meat industries fault. I'm not eating cow shit, I'm eating meat.

  • @triippyx OBVIOUSLY the bacteria is NOT killed all the time, that is why people get SICK and some die from it, and theres recalls of millions of pounds of contaminated meat as a result of that in the news.

If you don't mind eating raw cow SHIT thats fine.

  • @triippyx "you seem to think animals have never killed each other off"

I never SAID that, I SAID prey and preditors have lived for eons in BALANCE- its SELF REGULATING, that is why the wolves DONT eat all the deer and then die of starvation. Man is the one who thinks we have to "protect" deer or whatever from natural preditors and its BS. The wolves and moose on Isle of Royale prove they live together without killing each other off OR destroying their habitat so they STARVE to death.

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Self regulating to the point that humans came along, however seeing as humans are just as much a part of nature as wolves and elk are and have been.

A few years ago the wolves in yellowstone threatened the elk so badly that their birth rates were dropping. I suppose you would have rather had elk drop into unhealthy numbers rather than have humans step in. After all elk aren't as noble as your precious wolves now are they?

  • @triippyx I dont care about elk frankly, the only reason hunters do is they are GAME animals- they want all the elk for themselves to KILL and dont want competition The Elk were affected by more than JUST the wolves The way elk regain numbers is ban SPORT HUNTING!

    From YS web site:

"climate and harvest rate are justified explanations for most of the observed elk decline. To the extent that this is true, we suggest that between 1995 and 2004 wolf predation was of no significance”

  • @NativePrairieWolf

You don't care about elk? Wow, that just proves that your a stupid wolfaboo nut.

No dumb ass, we don't care about game animals just for ourselves. We want to ensure that they will not go extinct. You may only care about wolves and coyotes but I care about ALL animals. Some animal lover you turned out to be.

And I'm talking about in 2009, not in 2004. Funny how you don't look past 2004. Dumb twat.

  • Bill Hoppe, said harsh weather in YS park in late Nov pushed many of the animals to lower eleva in MT He est several hundred bull elk from the herd were killed by HUNTERS in the last part of the season

Yet in the 1990s several thousand elk were killed in some years. Hoppe believes the herds best days are gone & a hunting ind that already was ailing will collapse

Conserv. credit wolves with helping restore balance to the ecosystem in part by reducing the size of a herd some said was far too large

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Wow you're an idiot. Again you look at things as though humans don't have an impact on wildlife. We do. And wolves are not the only animals who go after elk for prey. But I suppose bears, cougars and other predatory animals don't mean jack shit because they aren't wolves right?

  • @triippyx MAN is the one who nearly extincted the massive bison herd here in the 1800s by HUNTING them down and slaughtering them, ditto for wolves, coyotes, and any other wild animal that they thought "threatened" livestock interests, even eagles were killed as a "threat" to sheep, passenger pigeons by overhunting.

I never said species dont go extinct, they go extinct for MANY reasons, but many in modern times were due to unrelenting hunting and habitat destruction.

"Lolwhat. That doesn't even begin to make sense. '

That's because you are only 20, barely out of HS and don't know much about the REAL world yet, hell, I have some SHIRTS older than you are and even they can figure out what that sentence means! THINK about it or are you so lazy I have to actually define what the meaning of that sentence is?

  • @NativePrairieWolf

Do you know what evolution is? Look it up please. Survival of the fittest. Animals have been killing each other off for longer than you or any other human has been on this planet.

  • @triippyx

    From the NY times:

Since the outbreak of food-poisoning from hamburger sold at Jack in the Box outlets left two children dead, the stock of the chain's parent company, Foodmaker Inc., has dropped more than 30%

nearly 400 people in the Pacific Northwest and a handful in other Western states have been stricken with E. coli 0157:H7, a bacterium that can be fatal, particularly in children.

The most likely source, it said, was meat contaminated with FECES at the time of slaughter.

  • Probably the most reliable and widely-accepted water estimate to produce a pound of beef is the figure of 2,500 gallons/pound.

Not surprisingly, the beef ind promotes a study that determined, using highly suspect calc's, that only 441 galls of water are required to produce a # of beef

Of course, evaporation and cow dung don't go very far in replenishing water pumped from acquifers which took thousands of years to fill.

    Book: Food Revolution, John Robbins

  • @NativePrairieWolf

The thing is, hun, that if the meat industry really was a dying industry, you wouldn't be telling people to boycott it. Which by the way will not do much.

You imply murder to animals which is frankly just completely stupid. With your logic animals 'murder' each other every day. Why don't you go tell the wolves that they are wrong for preying on elk?

Regardless of how much you bitch and moan and cry, hunting is never going to be stopped. Just as people are never gona -c-

  • @triippyx Sure it does, as people are EDUCATED as to the brutality and where their meat is produced, comes from, and the enviro ecosystem destruction it causes- they start thinking about it Books and vids showing wolves in a POSITIVE light certainly DO sway public opinion, it also resutls in leg hold trap BANS:

Gibsons B.C.has banned animal traps in a move being called the first of its kind in CA

The ban came after a woman's dog was caught in a leghold trap that was intended to capture WOLVES

  • @NativePrairieWolf

stop eating meat or using byproducts of meat. Shit, animal fat goes into the production of steel. Steel goes into our computers. You and I are communicating via computers, so therefore you are using a product that an animal had to be 'murdered' for.

God forbid you think with actual logic.

  • @kittycat1299 Becuase the black ones are common

  • Aw!

  • ok thxs!!! :D

  • I think white wolves should let out to nature in to North like in to Finland or russian or Norway and sweden somewhere north :) to wild to their "Real" home. Unless it had born caged because it couldnt survie there :s

  • Hopefully at some point the human race will be wiped out and the animals can have the entirety of their land back

  • @AppetiteForRoses I agree. As a matter of fact, judging from the methods most humans've gained their means to survive by in the past thousand years, they are not supposed to exist at all!!

  • @20628 V Good point :)

  • @AppetiteForRoses as crazy of a thought as that is I agree... humans are like cancer... look at the earth for instance and pretend you were a higher lifeform looking down on our planet all the green is being replaced with grey all the white is melting away and all the blue is being filled with oil... only a matter a time before we as a race kill ourselves off I just hope we dont take all other creatures with us.

  • There so beautyfull, i can understand why people whants to herm these inocent animals.

Love wild animals, there my life!

  • i dont like this, wolves are wild, and need protection, caging them does nothing but spread they can be pets. keep them wild and pass protection laws. I think wolf hunting season is like starting... december???

  • Theses white wolves are amazing creatures. Why cage any wild animal? Hence the the word "wild" I love wolves, they are my favorite animals. I hope their numbers increase and more people will learn that these arn't pets or a quick way to make some cash. These are God's creatures and we should treat them with respect.
