Normally I wouldn't comment on tactics or PPE, but come on really bunker pants only and then to top it off a FOG pattern! You might be a little more aggressive and not afraid of the fire if you put the rest of your gear on! And as for the fog pattern try a straight stream next time and the fire will be out in half the time. But these are the guys with 20 years + experience but you already new that.
to the ffs of this dept, #1:wear all your gear not just pants and boots!!! #2:dont try to put out a fire from 20yds away using fog spray... not gunna cut it!!!!!!!!!!

It's a shame that some fire departments still don't fight fires while wearing their gear. Safety is important, regardless of being volunteer or paid.
