He's one of the worst nightmares Microsoft can have? Dude, that company survived BOB and Windows Vista. Hutcherson is more likely the worst nightmare a waffle cook at an all-you-can-eat buffet can have.
For whatever reasons, there is a higher percentage of gay men and women in computer related teck jobs than in many other industries. If MicroSoft becomes anti-gay, it will lose a great many of its best minds and talent and they know that too.
This Mr Ken Hutcherson must be one of the biggest morons in this world today. What an embarresment to verbally threaten the CFO of one of the worlds most respected corporations. Mr Ken Hutcherson does not have a clue about what he is talking about and comes accross as being a very pathetic and sad person more than anything.
You are right, this was a terrible failure as the rationalists metaphorically bitch-slapped the religious nutjob bible thumpers. Don't you love how it sounds like he's talking in the WWF: "you will be hearing from me again", "I am your worst nightmare" "a fire storm is coming toward the corporations" "I am a black man with a whole host of white people behind me").
The problem is what is considered for true an false, natural and unnatural, black or white. There are a lot of things to protest, this is one of that. Other corporation is Mcdonald's....I hope someone will protest for somethings in a big way.

As a parent (if you are one) Do you HATE your kids if they disobey? No, you don't. You will not like what they did or are doing but you still love them! Same with God, He has a simple set of rules, and if they are broken he is not happy. Simple. God still loves, but can be upset. We are created in hs image so why is this concept so hard to understand?
Ask 5 xtians what God's simple rules are. Do they all give the same answer? The rules my parents laid out for me were very clear. The rules of your God are subject to interpretation.
The "created in his image" concept is easy for me to understand. We humans are an egotistical bunch, so of course we want our God to look like us!
I won't change you and you won't change me. But you will probably make one more comment anyway. Have a peaceful and happy life.
The guy can't even speak English properly. I can hardly follow what he's saying. Did he even have a speech prepared? Because it sounds like rambling to me.
They start the buying frenzy, the price shoots up. They finish the buying frenzy, the price returns to normal. They implement their little moral plan on MS policies, the price drops further.
End result: Financial ruin of the Evangelicals that participate.
To think that corporations, such as microsoft, have anti christian agenda's reads to many conspiracy theory NOVEL's. The only agenda corporations have is to get more money.
nice incoherent ramblings, sir. go back to elementary school, and stay away from the big words and complex sentence structure until you can master counting to 10.
its gonna be a few months but this guy is gonna be busted in public with a very feminine gay man, cuz it isn't gay sex if your "parner" looks and acts like a girl!........right?

I appreciate that Hutcherson is trying to create a level playing field where people, not corporations, decide on which values should be supported in society. It makes sense to find out what legislation big companies are supporting. As Christians, we need to love the sinner as God does since each one of us are sinners. But when sin can be formally legalized among the masses, with potential of changing school and church teaching, adoption, etc., Christians need to have a voice.
I'd disagree. We all need to have a voice. So be it if a corporation wants to use their power to sway legislation, but that doesn't mean that other views can't be expressed or promoted. My take is that a company of Microsoft's size & diversity should stay nuetral.
Everyones voice is not only valueable but permissable. That is the joy and pain of freedom. We can say what we want but we are forced to listen. Suck it up because neither side is shutting up any time soon. Microsoft should stay neutral, but they have the right within the private sector to promote what they want but not force itself on the government and the same for the church.
I think we're saying the same thing. Hutcherson is not asking Microsoft to promote the church, but rather be neutral instead of putting this formally on the company's legislative agenda. Company policies are fine, but supporting enactment of laws is another story.
If Hutch's darkest fantasies came true and every state and corporation repealed GLBT rights, what has he gained? How has he mirrored Jesus by his actions?
1 Cor 5:12-13: "What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside."
There is no law stating a church has to endorse gays, blacks, etc. All he has accomplished now is looking like a bigot and making his faith appear self-serving at best or a sham at worst.

Hutch is the man! i know him personally very well and he has no hate in him. you who make claims about him, what personal knowledge of him do you have? if none then you should come to church and get to know him or stop talking. anything else is just speaking ignorance to the wind...
It amazes me sometimes when people who have suffered hate and discrimination turns around and does it to someone else. This fat lard needs to die of a heart attack or something.
This man is so full of hate and so full of himself that he actually believes his own delussional fantasies. He is only powerful in his own mind. He makes up lies to portray himself as a powerful and influential "prophet".
He is actually nothing more than a chalatan and a fraud who makes a lot of money stirring up rabidly homophobic judgmentalists.
Microsoft is laughing at him along with most Americans.
Of course Ken danced around the facts as usual in his "Prayer Warrior" email to his flock about this, giving the impression that he had gotten a meeting with MS execs, rather than just being the lone nut-job at the shareholders meeting.
There is a Truth. And He is coming. You will not have an excuse.

Not only would the gays walk off the job, I think MS would lose 95% of it's workforce, making all that stock virtually worthless.
