I just don't understand the cans. That's like installing HEATSINKS for temperature exchangebetween the outside and the inside. It's a small portion of the walls but still... There is a reason why CPU heatsinks are all aluminium.
I'm a little surprised they don't use composting toilets. But I guess they might as well do something with the gray water.
And respect for the hot girl. She could be modeling or getting by on her looks somewhere, but chooses to sweat it out with a bunch of rasta Teen Wolf look-alikes lol. Just nice knowing some hot girls have depth.
I'm having trouble finding large used windows. Any suggestions. I'm currently living in a 1250sqft yurt while I build my earthship. Any help would be appreciated
@EarthshipFreedom I think this type of building has everything going for it too much to list. It might not be for everyone’s taste but I think many people would like a living system like an earthship. But there are also alternatives' for the industrial tastes of our friend "Blue" Recycled shipping crates (steel) and or monolithic dome (concrete) might be more appealing. To each his own.
@bluemountaindrivepae I see where folks might not be into this style but, I don't respect the negative or even insulting tone. 1 mans junk is another’s art/bliss. Why trash it. Sorry about the pun I had to.
You can hate it of course. But why piss on people. Aren't we all tired of that vibe? Maybe it's just me. Peace "Blue"
I have some questions about the rain catchment/cistern tanks. How many inches of rain does it take to fill them, is it all collected by the roof then directed to the tank system. Is 6000 gal enough? How is it consumed (by which systems and at what type of rate)

Recycle glass bottles. Recycle cans and bottles. Burn old car tires. Don't live in junk lean to. Build with concrete and steel.
