He made a cameo in each of the LOTR films. In Two Towers he was one of the Rohan defenders at Helm's Deep and in Return Of The King he was one of the Corsairs of Umbar, the one Legolas shoots in the Extended Version. Nice vid otherwise. At 0:46, it would make sense if the hobbits and elves were the same height at this point. This scene is from the third book after Frodo has returned from Mount Doom. Merry and Pippin had been through battles and war and in the book, they grew in height, and became taller than any other Hobbit in middle earth. I think this was just being consistent with the book.
No, I don't think so. They only grew about 3 inches/8 cm, which made them very tall for hobbits, but still not as tall as humans. And when they're next to Frodo and Sam later in the movie, they're the same height as they are.
You missed out the most obvious mistake. Near the beginning, when Bilbo is avoiding his relatives, he has already reach the archway. Next clip, he comes from the other room rather than the beginning of the archway. This may only be in the extended edition
these mistakes are very petty anyway. the worst editing mistake ive ever seen was in a film called mothers day lol, a guy was sitting in the backseat of a car with the window rolled down another guy came up with a machete and swung it into the windo, blood went everywhere and then he got his head cut off lol. the blood spattered 1st and secondly the head was chopped off in that order lol. so i think in comparison these mistakes are very petty. i still loved mothers day though, really cheezy lol

but keep in mind that there is no film without flaw since they are only depictions. you will never see a flawless film because theres no such thing....you shouldnt get put off by the continuity mistakes because theres just so much going on in film everything cant be kept up with, just watch and enjoy!

If you think about it making 3 movies that are each about 3 hours long there's bound to be a few mistakes. Plus I heard they filmed all 3 at the same time, so that has to be even more challenging. Nobody's perfect.
Peter Jackson is in all three films, he is above the door in Helms Deep in Lotr: TTT, and he is the guy who Legolas shoots on the boat before the dead army appear in Lotr: ROTK. Also in the Helms Deep battle of Lotr: TTT as the men ride down the angled path to the right of the fortress an Orc runs THROUGH Legolas' horse.
Elves in the Tolkien legendarium are supposed to be taller than even men, so of course much taller than hobbits. I know that in other fantasies, elves are considered to be short, but not in this case.
0:56 The arrows are still his, its just that when he has the arrows strung the shadow of his head is covoring the actual colour of the arrow feathers..
at 0:40 its one of the fucking men of gondor. obviously you havent seen the film to know what they look like. but the other mistakes are real, a GREAT movie still cannot be perfect...
With the enormous amount of work that went into making these movies, I would expect a few small things to get by them. LotR is still the finest example of a cinematic masterpiece.

The volvo is edited out on DVD, but in theathers, it was in the first movie when Sam and Frodo are leaving the Shire, and Sam says if I take one step farther, this will be the farthest I have ever been away from home.
Maybe you can find it somewhere, like VHS or something, though.

If you also notice, I may be the only one who has, in the scene at Amon Hen (the big battle in the first one), as Aragorn rushes to Boromir, his cape swipes a 'dead' orc, who looks up at him.
The Peter Jackson-thing is no mistake, he did a cameo on every film as a fun thing to do. If I were a director I would've done the same thing. When you work with a trilogy like this one for 6 years it gives the whole thing a lot more value if you get your own cameo in it.
0.17 the mistake about gandalf's eyebrows: first picture he's gandalf the white probably in minas tirith and the second he's gandalf the grey in moria.
I've noticed a few more mistakes, for example, in the two towers where legolas is on the hill shooting the wargs, you see gimli ride past him, then the camera shot changes and gimli is far behind him, and legolas jumps on to his horse, and theres a few more but i forgot so ill have to watch it again sometime to recall
dere were one mistake I noticed. when Gandalf and Peppin are visit to steward of Gondor the end of the Gandalfs' clap is clean but when he turns it's dirty.
The arrows were supposed to be different. He was running low ammo so for the easy shots he started sending their black feathered arrows back at them. Any good archer would do the same.

If you think about it making 3 movies that are each about 3 hours long there's bound to be a few mistakes. Plus I heard they filmed all 3 at the same time, so that has to be even more challenging. Nobody's perfect.

Peter Jackson is in all three films, he is above the door in Helms Deep in Lotr: TTT, and he is the guy who Legolas shoots on the boat before the dead army appear in Lotr: ROTK. Also in the Helms Deep battle of Lotr: TTT as the men ride down the angled path to the right of the fortress an Orc runs THROUGH Legolas' horse.

Elves in the Tolkien legendarium are supposed to be taller than even men, so of course much taller than hobbits. I know that in other fantasies, elves are considered to be short, but not in this case.

The volvo is edited out on DVD, but in theathers, it was in the first movie when Sam and Frodo are leaving the Shire, and Sam says if I take one step farther, this will be the farthest I have ever been away from home.
Maybe you can find it somewhere, like VHS or something, though.

ok the gandalf one i can see, the lights too, the support, the fact of frodo's eyes, the crew member,
but at 0:39 that was a totally differant scar, jeez you couldn't even see the part of his face with the other scar, at 0:45 the camera was at a totally differant angle

a lot of these arent' mistakes... ur searching too hard man. Most of the cuts/ scratches you were pointing out weren't even the same wound. in 0:33 u can still see the cut on the right of his neck. same with 0:39, u can still see the cut on the right side of his face in both shots...

yea a slight one. orlando was supposed to wear blue contacts, but they kept scratching his corneas. so they had to digitally change his eye color, but they forgot some scenes.

in the scene where sam jumps in the water to reach frodos boat, and almost drowns, from the fellowship of the ring, hes like falling 5 metres down the water, and frodo just grabs him from the boat, and also sam's clothes are dry when he gets up. go check!

The Peter Jackson-thing is no mistake, he did a cameo on every film as a fun thing to do. If I were a director I would've done the same thing. When you work with a trilogy like this one for 6 years it gives the whole thing a lot more value if you get your own cameo in it.

I've noticed a few more mistakes, for example, in the two towers where legolas is on the hill shooting the wargs, you see gimli ride past him, then the camera shot changes and gimli is far behind him, and legolas jumps on to his horse, and theres a few more but i forgot so ill have to watch it again sometime to recall

i found one
easy to spot, no zoom needed, no nothin
in the mine of moria, when the "fellowship" are at the braking bridge of some sort...getting picked off by blind archers..(they keep missing)
when aragon and frodo are the only ones left..when frodo gets to the other side, legolas, hugs him..to stop him falling..(not hug. ofc)
but 1 second later..his hands are free..frodo is at the front, and legolas is patting aragon on the shoulder.

The arrows were supposed to be different. He was running low ammo so for the easy shots he started sending their black feathered arrows back at them. Any good archer would do the same.

1)Because skin is elastic wounds can change shape and position.
2)Legolas is not showen from the same distance as the hobbits(more info by study optic phisics better).
